Beware of scam company.
MEDIABAK.com had immediately charged my account after I had signed up for their
"14 day free trial" in which they currently are falsely advertising as well as of having no hidden fees.

*Operating under multiple sites that inevitably sends you to this site after they charge you hidden fees.

*They emphasize absolutely "no hidden fees" all the while helping themselves to servings of fees and deceitful practices against their customers' accounts, without permission and refusing to notify to customers of their actions. Only when customers who review their accounts, noticed fraudulent activity against their accounts, and happen to contact this company. Only then does the company state yes they charge fees anyways. Scam.

The book that I wanted to read fron their inventory, all of a sudden wasn't in their so-called inventory. My account was charged, I was told that transaction that they had made to my account will be reversed within 24-48 hours:

"The charge will drop in 24-48 hours from applying it."

This was stated on August 23,2018.
Unfortunately, it is now August 31,2018 (8 days later) and No change.

Dear BBB please suspend this scam's business license and seize all of their manipulative websites please. It is 100% scam that has shown to have zero intentions of seizing their multiple amount of scams in which continues to mount.

- I am still waiting way overdue to be reimbursed asap.

- They have stated to have canceled my membership, as requested. How can I be certain of the cancellation, since the charges to my account were never dropped?

Deliberate Scam is never a misunderstanding.

It is called Scam.

I went looking for some ebooks and they conned me
Into giving them my debit card number, saying they
WOULD NOT CHARGE MY ACCOUNT, this was just
To verify that I was 18 years old or more. I thought,
Ok, the site looks fairly legitimate. 2 days later I saw
That they had placed holds for $2.99, $1.02, and $1.00.
I called my bank and told them I had given my debit
Card number to a scammer, and to not let them put
Any more payment authorizations on my account
Because they have no authorization from me at all,
And these people need to be blacklisted by your bank.
Ok, I thought it was taken care of, but 2 days later I
Saw where they had put a $39.99 payment authorization
On my account! I thought I was protected from them
Charging me anything more after talking to the bank
Previously. Apparently not. My fault though. I should
Had canceled that debit card after those small charges,
But I had just recently received this debit card when the
Old one expired. And I liked the graphics on the card!
So by being vain about the cool graphics on my new
Card, I took the chance that I didn't need to just go
Ahead and cancel the dang card, and it cost me.
Hopefully my bank will have pity on my dumb azz
And take care of this mess for me. It's a good bank
That always has my back when I screw up. Capital
One. They advised me to cancel that card the first
Time I called them about the smaller charges. But
No, I didn't want to bother with all that. Serves me right:)

Also note, this scam outfit uses several slightly different
Names for their scam websites. There is mediabak.com,
mediahitt.com, and others I saw when I was googling
Information on these thieves. They are all the same scammers
Operating out of Wilmington Delaware and Montreal Quebec.

Do not sign up for this service. When i registered for the free trial I was under the impression that I would not be charged however that was not the case as I was charged $40 dollars.

The service provided by mediabak.com is good and they have an updated audiobooks library so easy for me to browse through the collection for my favorite audiobook.

Loved the ebook and audiobook collection mediabak has for readers. Quick access and different genres for reading available on the website. The sign up process is also not so time consuming.
