I have been a Meijer customer for about 50 years. I raised three kids and Meijer was my "go to" place. Spent a lot of money on groceries, clothes and toys at Christmas. Now I am a widow, kids are grown and gone. I don't like the new buy two or you don't get the advantage of the sale price. Especially with perishables I just can't use and end up throwing spiked food out. This week oranges and grapefruit were 2/$8 but there is no way I can eat all those. Price for one $5.29.

I go to the school next to meijer in muskegon michigan. I buy the deli products daily for lunch and all associates in meijer understand that you have to pay for it at the counter. Yet I am stopped and searched after trying to walk out with the food I paid for. Completely disgusting you are wasting the time of your customers and treating them like prisoners. I will never be shopping there again.

Hello fellow angry Tally Hall fans, and hello everyone who wanted to visit Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Museum, we'll guess what, it might get closed down and be replace with this grocery store that already has a bad reputation! This freaking sucks especially because for a while I wanted to go visit Michigan because I wanted to go to Marvins. Finding out it might get replaced by this crappy grocery store is making me feel furious!

I work get food stamps and now Meijer Knapp Street Meijer Grand Rapids Michigan has put a cap on the amount of FS you can use for food SERIOUSLY! I do Delivery is that the case WHY? It says a ton about your customers service which is NOTHING!

I noticed certain books aren't sold at Meijers! There are absolutely no books on the "right wing" view point!…I also noticed nothing, like Santa, Christmas related.

I order for my work location, and let the customer decide. I don't want Meijers to decide my religious and political view for me!

They won't confirm Your card.and if you place a replacement for an item...they charge you.😡 They charged $64 bucks! For imitation bacon bits! HORRIBLE experience. Spent two hours on the phone...no help.

True goodness canned chicken dog food is labeled chicken, water, other vitamins and minerals, when i opened the can it was filled with rice and did not look or smell like chicken. This could be harmful if your pet was unable to eat grain, i exchanged for a different lot # and ingredients were correct, it has happened several time to me, someone is mislabeling cans wrong, cannot find any phone number to call and keep getting referred to store manager and nothing changes, BUYER BEWARE

I come into Meijer only to once again find a limited selection of cottage cheese and frozen vegetables. Then I go through a cashier maned isle to have the bags at the end of the cashier stand pointed out. I'm trying to bag my own groceries, enter my M perks when the rude person behind me pushes my cart out of their way and knocked my wallet purse and credit card off on to the floor. I think I will be shopping at Aldi a lot more. Meijer, premium prices for subpar service.

Trying to order groceries on meijer com is almost impossible most of the time and impossible today. I tried to order groceries today but I can't even get it to a screen with a search option. It's a painstaking process every time. Sometimes it takes me 4 hours to place a small order because the website needs serious revamping and has many glitches in the coding. ALDI.com is much easier to use but I don't really care for ALDI. I've shopped at meijer since the 1990's, but meijer has the worst website I have ever used.

Meijer does NOT care.
1. Two weeks ago I spent over $50 on a Brita water dispenser that was broken upon delivery: Meijer wants me to return the defective item, which would be fine, if I had a car.
2. The website is horrible with nonstop glitches, fails to load the pages fully, and has a generally poor user interface.
3. Meijer takes no responsibility: If there are substitutions on an account that has no substitutions, it's out of their control, because Shipt. If there ARE approved substitutions but Shipt just doesn't get them, it's out of their control, because Shipt. If____ then_____.
4. The consumer is often ping ponged back and forth between Meijer customer service and Shipt. I don't care who did it, Meijer is responsible for the entire experience, and does nothing except give excuses, fails to take responsibility, makes no attempt to make it right, and does not even pretend to be sorry.

Today, my order was delivered to NOT ME, and Meijer has done nothing, other than waste my time. Meijer said: "Thank you for your patience, I was able to talk with Shipt who said the order had been delivered. If you have any further questions please call *******537, or if you feel your order may have been stolen, to report it to your local authorities. Is there anything else I could assist you with today?"

THE ORDER WAS NOT STOLEN IT WAS DELIVERED TO NOT ME! I CANNOT FILE A POLICE REPORT FOR STOLEN GOODS DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHICH BUILDING THIS IS BUT IT'S NOT MINE.

After 2+ hours on the phone with Meijer, Shipt, and Meijer, they finally agreed to give me a refund, which 'may take several business days'.

12/08/2023 I took my brother to do his monthly shopping at the meijer's on Grand River in Detroit. Only check out that was open were the self check. He had approximately $500 worth of items to go through self checkout. I found the manager to let him know there was a problem only the self check was open and that I had a basket full of items to be checked out, and that was too much to go through self checking. His attitude was self-checking or nothing. I chose nothing.
There's a Walmart about the same distance away, that we shopped at before Myers open. We end up going to Myers whose products is a lot cheaper and better service.

Have been buying pick loin at Meijer for a number of years. Bought one last week that was the worst ever...totally devoid of any flavor and very tough meat - like shoe leather. Coupled with the crappy quality of produce, this mY help me make the decision to finally move on from Meijer. They continue to raise prices and reduce quality. Don't Evidently care about the customer.

I shop at Meijer regularly. Products are decent for decent prices. But today I'd been working in the yard all day and didn't feel like going in to shop, so decided to order online and pickup. NOT POSSIBLE. I tried 3 times, every time it switched to Delivery and added 7.95 for the fee. I tried the ChatBot, which got into an irritating loop of telling me, "It's easy to switch between Pickup and Delivery!" I never was able to do it. Glad Kroger's was open!

For the second time in 3 months, my order at meijer.com was cancelled due to processing issues. This happened to me in November. I have covid and can't go to store and this happens. Same thing in November. My kids had covid and I stayed home to keep from spreading it to everyone. I will not be renewing my membership. It's frustrating. I'll just go through shipt directly next time.

Please, clean your bathrooms. Hire a volunteer or me to check them a couple times a week. Get rid of perfume selling at your store and don't allow smoking cigarettes in front or outside of your store, because it is causing an allergy problem of itching and fleas and spiting and coughing. Also, please don't allow returns anymore. Other than that I love meijers. I love your variety of foods and eating area and clothes.

You want to know why people steal your product because look at your prices you need to come down with your prices that's why people starve cuz it's either food or medication we can't survive in this country with these prices with corporate fuking greed. I only come here because of the gift card I received.

A business should keep its political ideals separate from its business... I was upset when I was sent emails with gay alphabet community; this immoral community makes up less than 1% of the population and most Americans are don't support this behavior yet business like meijer want to push their agenda; why plaster ppls sexual involvements all over your emails and push their branding; this is sick

I reluctantly tried ordering a small amount of groceries online, to pick up. I am sick and didn't want to go into the store. Horrible mistake.
I like to pick out my own fruits and vegetables but I figured I am pretty safe with pears, oranges and bananas. The pears I received shouldn't even be for sale. Totally unacceptable. I was given rotten fruit! Oranges and bananas were not ripe but I can deal with that. I am surprised how many people order food this way.

We shop (for now) at the Cadillac Meijer.they removed the bag carousels and now you have to bag own groceries...better start lowering prices if we have to do everything ourselves. We will start shopping at local grocery store vs. MEIJER...also self checkouts take someone's job away and the sales never ring properly overcharging...
Regarding bag carousel removal, I feel bad for seniors and those who have large grocery orders..

One cashier Friday 3:00 person in charge of self serve huffy stuffy Jonathan S got his panties in a wad because an elderly gentleman couldn't operate it. I ask for mgr several times from other employees no one knew where to locate one hmmmm

IS THERE ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE WHO HATES OR IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED WITH MEIJER'S SHODDY 'SELF-CHECKOUT' SYSTEM? (especially the Ft. Gratiot MI location) I've been having trouble with both the lousy 'old' and the recent 'new and improved (?)' self-checkout systems for about 4 years now. The old – constantly red and green lights stopping and then clearing the way to continue, the lights sometimes flash red then green so often they should use them for blinking Christmas lights. Lots of 'wait for attendant' notices (key word here is WAIT), machines stopping your order with a red light somehow thinking it's a separate order (not exactly Artificial Intelligence), see the line you're in get the dreaded red light and jump to another? That lane often will get the red light too. Other glitches also. On to the 'new and improved' system. The machines will often spit back or reject perfectly new and fine bills from the on-site ATM or my bank. Over and over. Often the few and sometimes overwhelmed human attendants can't get to you, will walk right by you and say "I'll be back to help you in a minute" and then disappear to the back of the store to put items back. Other attendants will come over and 'push the wrong button' to solve your problem and cause more delays. I'm missed a dozen or so buses at least by just a minute or half a minute over the last 4 years. I end up spending 1-1/2 hours for 30 minutes of shopping and 10-20 minutes of of checking out. "Try allowing for more time" you say? I allowed an extra 10 minutes last night and STILL missed another bus. Again. I complain half the time, but get lame apologies, lip-service about speaking to the employees and improving things, etc. but the same problems keep happening, even with their shiny new and improved system. THEY DON'T OR CAN'T FIX THINGS. Or maybe don't really care. I know a couple of people who also don't like the Meier's checkout experience. Even some of their employees don't like it! I've cut back my Ft. Gratiot Meijer's shopping by 2/3's. Maybe I need to skip them even more. Feel free to post your own horror stories.

They're no longer the main artery. Their website is garbage. They did away with systems (tech) so their app is useless, outside of making a simple shopping list. Items regularly show as out of stock or in-stock when they aren't. The poor workers get the earful when you can't find anything including a sale item. No option to leave a product review online. Digital coupons and mperks don't work or are down half the time. Place has gone downhill in a handbag.

I went to purchase a few loose cans of Fosters which are currently advertised at $2.49/can. You have NONE of these in stock, so why are you advertising that you do? I'd "include proof of purchase" but - huh. Could not purchase any of these, because you DON'T HAVE THEM.

Since the registers shut down automatically at 12 midnight, I was unable to check out, being a few minutes after, even though I was in the store before that. They would not open a regular register to check me out. I don't know if they could, but it should be possible or they should keep register open until customers all get checked. I'm not going back any time soon. I have bought lots of groceries there for a long time. I'll get another store now. The supervisor felt the need to keep reminding me that they had made numerous announcements. This was not polite.

Jay, the trucker in Lafayette Indiana, call me *******440. Ask for Mark. Meijer in Lafayette booted me too. $1000.00 to let me leave their property. I bought groceries there. The three thugs who booted my truck claim to be out of Sheridan, Wyoming. They are running an extortion campaign. They are pocketing thousands of dollars a night when Meijer and WalMart are closed.

It has happened several times sale price does not register, Meijer was a awesome place at one time there customer service is awful last three times I went they were rude & some employees should not be working there period. Don't know if I will be going back to Bolingbrook Illinois Meijer. Thought I would try again. There was a older lady that purchased spaghetti sauce from a shelf that had sale on it (also saw it) she bought 4 red one white same brand, they over charged her, she was in front of me at customer service, customer service lady said loudly said the white is not on sale customer said why is it stocked with it then no other price. Well I want my money back then, customer service lady told her well you can bring it back next time you come, older lady said there won't be any next time I won't be back, customer service said fine loudly. I tried to get a rain check because they were out of stock of pot pie that was on sale she told me come back tomorrow they restock I said what sale end today she said oh. No I can't give you a rain check. I then told her what the hell I won't be back this store is going down hill this was on 2-11-23 early afternoon they better improve I heard several people complaining in check out
