Northern Light Mercy Hospital

I went in after the cold weekend we had after working 50 hours over the weekend with chest pain I worked alright an was tired an was a little dirty but if you have chest pain you go to a hospital an this hospital never even done any test an I was giving a ant avid an was sent home thus place is a the worst.

Mercy Hospital used to be one of the best. Kind and generous people, competent staff, and basically no hassles, with an emphasis on healthcare for all.

Not any more. Over the past couple of years they have become increasingly mercenary about their bill collecting. It happened after they changed their name. They seem to have jumped on the corporate bandwagon and begun to act like thugs.

In my case, I have a Christian health sharing coop that has always been great about paying most of my medical bills. My infant son had a few things done at "Northern Light Mercy" a few months ago, and Mercy, which is ostensibly a Christian hospital, af first couldn't seem to figure out how to submit my son's bills, and soon after they did, began calling me repeatedly, even multiple times a day, looking for a payment of about $400. The bill was in progress with my co-op, and after numerous calls back and forth with their aggressive bill collection staff, they seemed to understand briefly what a co-op is, and told my wife they would stop bothering us.

Instead, they put the bill in to a collection agency, so now I have a whole new gauntlet of phone calls and explanations to give to a different group of people, and had to explain all this to my Healthshare co-op too. In other words, Northern Light Mercy can't seem to live by what they say on the phone. Too many hassles. I switched to a new primary care physician for both me and my son.

This hospital is not merciful to patients here at the Marion center inpatient part A! If you are depressed suicidal and homeless!- And Black! Because of the most evl psychiatrist there in charge! She is a doctor of racism! And a disgrace to the medical profession! And should be fired for the way she treated me!- when I was a patient there in Oct 2017! It was sick!- and humiliating! And wrong on her part! And a wicked nurse there called Juanita! Because of my race! They are very prejudice against people of color! And I was refused help from day one after I just got there in need of their services for emergency treatment! And this psycho psychiatrist wanted me out the next day without treating me at all! And then this racist nurse does the same thing and had the nerve to call me a, liar! And refused to believe me when I said that I need help I'm suicidal and depressed; and instead of them helping me this idiot threatened me to leave or she will call the cops!- if I don't! Which was a crime by her!- not me! I couldn't believe she even said such an evil thing as that against an innocent person! Who just wanted some help! The both failed! And were very rude mean and unprofessional! And I couldn't wait to leave! And had to go to the emergency room there all over again! Because of these racist losers! Only because I'm black! And was homeless! They violated all of my human and civil rights as a patient! That's against their patient policies and rules! That, we have a right to get treatment or refuse it! But they didn't care! They are the criminals! And should be in jail for what they did!- was an outrage! I had to go next door for someone else to help me! I thank God I finally got the help I needed! And doing better than ever! But if u are black don't come to this hospital!- its evil especially at the psych ward! The staff there are the ones that crazy! They are worst off than the patients there! And don't even know it!- but I do! And there are many more complaints against them! Online! Just google it! You'll see! That there is no mercy here! At all! Even more if u are homeless and black! Don't ever come here for any emergency! U will be very disappointed! I'll never go there again!?
