While this company used to be reputable in China, it is no longer. After incurring massive financial losses through the 2020 pandemic, they are not able to pay their teachers on time and in full as outlined in their contracts. This company is desperate for foreign teachers and will tell you anything you want to hear in order to employ you. Do not fall for their scams! They will never pay you what they promise! Living and working in China can be a wonderful experience if you're working at an international school or university. I cannot stress this point enough: stay far away form chain training schools like Meten.

This company is notoriously problematic for both teachers and students. Racist recruiters are using this company to spread their hate for foreigners.If you don't want to work with foreigners this is definitely not the industry for you.
Make sure that your teacher assistants fully understand how the company works and are capable of dealing with financial issues. Educate them on how to be polite in their correspondence with teachers and ask for help if they fail to resolve a problem. It appears that they are too afraid to spoil an image of a good employee and turn to a senior manager for assistance.
Educate your recruiters on how not to racially discriminate against non-Chinese (as racism is ignorance).
