Miracle Caster

Miracle Casters are a 3.75" chair caster wheel which replaces normal size office chair wheels to ease rolling on carpeted surfaces. They say it eliminates the need for a mat, and they also say they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back. So, I ordered 5 and installed them. The chair did roll more easily. I'm very heavy, but these are rated for far more than I weigh. In only 2 days one of the caster wheels fell off, and the chair tipped! It turns out that the caster was NOT broken. The caster, being so large and longer than a standard caster, exerted far too much leverage and busted the caster wheel socket in the chair's base! Just 2 days! (See Photo) So I emailed the Miracle Caster company and explained the situation. I even attached a photo of the damage it did to my chair base's caster socket. NOTHING. I emailed again to the parent Lifeweaver company. NOTHING! I called them after I found their number in my PayPal records and left a voice mail. NOTHING! I messaged them via their store on eBay. NOTHING! I shipped the casters back to them and called them as soon as it arrived and left a voice mail and an email. NOTHING! Miracle Caster / Lifeweaver didn't give a hoot about me or my dilemma. All my messages were polite and courteous. I finally had to contact PayPal. They went after Miracle Caster to honor their satisfaction guarantee and Miracle Caster / Lifeweaver finally relented under the pressure and issued my refund (not including shipping). I firmly believe they would NEVER have refunded my money if I hadn't paid via PayPal because they showed a complete lack of concern, and certainly showed no professionalism. WARNING! Miracle Casters can cause damage to rolling chair bases, and the Miracle Caster / Lifeweaver company will ignore your emails and try not to honor their guarantee, based on my personal experience. DO BUSINESS WITH MIRACLE CASTER / LIFEWEAVER AT YOUR OWN RISK!
