Ordered an outfit and zipper did not zipped up. Had to pay someone to get it fixed decided to give modern child a second chance due to her outfits looking super cute same problem AGAIN zipper did not work! By this time I was a bit frustrated and email them, they email me back saying how sorry they were and if I could email them pictures (which I did) never heard from them again after emailing the pictures twice. What a shame don't waste your money the quality of the outfits is very cheap. Dont trust good Reviews all are done by her and group of HER FRIENDS

I don't normally write reviews but I just googled Modernechild because I was going to order another outfit for my daughter's upcoming bday party and I saw a very negative review that I just have to address. Me and five of my friends "the Mommy Club" have been ordering from Modernechild for about a year and a half now. One of the "Mommies" discovered the website when she was looking for a red dress for her daughter to wear for their family Christmas photos. We all died when we saw the dress, it was gorgeous and the price was well below that of department stores. We all started ordering from the site and along the way we've all had many interactions with the owner who is also a mom. We love the clothes and the quality but most of all the service. About a year ago I ordered a pair of kids sunglasses and when they arrived they were broken. I contacted the owner and she profusely apologized and sent a new pair right away with expedited shipping. She also threw in a little hairpiece as an apology. That's the kind of customer service that makes me want to keep buying from her, and I have. So I'm shocked to read the bad review that was written about this company and because the owner has been so loyal to me as a customer I feel the need to be loyal to her and defend her good name. This bad review must have been written by a competitor because none of it rings true. The owner did not ask me to write this review, I am doing so because it's the right thing to do. I clicked on the bad reviewer's profile (YKW A) and she also bashes another children's clothing business. She wrote both bad reviews on the same day - something smells fishy to me. Modernechild is amazing, as a long time customer I highly recommend it!
