Ordered a set of wheels for a '69 as advertised on their website. Order processed and confirmation email received. After months of waiting, I asked for tracking details and was told "we no longer carry the items and the order was cancelled - sorry". No notification at time of ordering, no cancellation information - nothing. Buy elsewhere as these guys are useless!

Ordered a set of wheels for a '69 as advertised on their website. Order processed and confirmation email received.
After months of waiting, I asked for tracking details and was told "we no longer carry the items and the order was cancelled - sorry". No notification at time of ordering, no cancellation information - nothing.
Buy elsewhere as these guys are useless!

David is really the most helpful customer service agent out there. Ask for David!

Mustangs Unlimited has been a customer of ours since 2000. Now they have stopped paying their bills. Stay away from Mustangs Unlimited. If they aren't paying their bills then something is very wrong. We have open invoices for them that are over a year old. I have also found reviews about them taking payments but not shipping products to customers.

Be very, very careful.

Ordered set of wheels web said were in stock. Waited 2 weeks and called. Salesman said not available. Asked a question. Got hung up on. Had same thing happen 6 years ago but decided to give them another chance. Never again! At least a phone call would have helped

Spent over an hour total waiting on hold never able to talk with anyone. Part still not delivered after a month. Work with this company at your on risk

My husband and youngest son have been restoring a 1970 Mustang coupe for the past two years so I feel like I am ordering from this site weekly. I have received nothing but excellent customer service from them virtually every time I order, and I don't think you can say this too often anymore. They are always letting me know of coupon codes I can use for discounts, free shipping specials they are running and the one time I had placed an order for something that was supposed to be delivered next day via UPS and for some reason they shipped it USPS, they credited my account 10% AND gave us free shipping on the next order. The car is almost ready to roll down the road so I am happy to give big props to this site for it's excellence!

Ordered seat upholstery and tools, directions, hog rings etc. MU sent me everything but the seat upholstery. I waited a month, then called and got some VERY rude individual that pretty much told me "you'll get it when you get it". Over 2 months go by, and STILL no seat upholstery! I called them back. They cancelled my order! No phone call, no email, no nothing. I've been waiting TWO MONTHS! Absolutely unprofessional! The lady on the phone said "well, our computer system is antiquated and it cancels orders and we don't know about it". Uh, WHAT? Your system cancels orders and NO ONE in the company knows about it when it happens? Ummm, I think I'd be getting a new computer system then! That just tells me that they are truly an armpit kind of company. Absolutely worthless. I will NEVER attempt to purchase anything through this lousy company again. What a waste of my time.

I ordered parts for an upgrade of my front end and drum to disk conversion of my 66 Mustang. Having dealt with Mustangs Unlimited in the past I placed order with them. Order place in the first week of May, 2018 and didn't get final part until the end of July, 2018. Car is at shop currently in a number of pieces when the mechanic noticed he was missing a bracket to hold in the brake pads to the caliper. Two should have been in the bag but only one in there. He called Mustangs Unlimited and they referred them to the parts supplier. The parts supplier was called but has not responded to them in 4 days. All the while, my car sits in pieces because someone only put one bracket in the bag instead of 2. Can't seem to get anyone at Mustangs Unlimited to place a call to them and light a fire under them to get my part!
Very disappointed in Mustangs Unlimited. I'll try some else in the future!

Hi Bill,

I am disappointed to hear that you had an issue with a part and then had an issue with our customer service team. Unfortunately in situations like this one, Mustangs Unlimited does not carry the extra hardware pieces like the one you were looking for. We also have vendors that require us to let them handle situations like this. Then all we can do as a company is let the process take it's course. I do apologize for the lack of action on our part after you had waited for four days though. I can't see in the system if a call was ever placed to the vendor on our end, but I can tell you that the gentleman you spoke to here at Mustangs Unlimited was brand new and did not follow the process that is put in place for situations like this. Had he followed the process and forwarded your issue to a Manager, I firmly believe that a Manager would have stepped in and made the call to the manufacturer.

I have since had a Sales Manager follow up with that sales member and also follow up on your order. They informed me that someone had been in contact with you and that you had received the piece you were missing. I am glad to hear that you finally received the piece you needed to finish your restoration. Please understand that we are a good sized company dealing with many orders daily. We also deal with turn-over in some of our position like any other company. If you mix that in with manufacturer's requirements and customers calling in, speaking to different sales people, sometimes things get missed. I am not trying to make excuses, just stating a reality that many companies struggle with.

With that said, I understand your frustrations completely. I myself would have been upset as well. But I can assure you that we are making strides daily to eliminate things like this from happening in the future. We take every upset customer very seriously and try to learn from each one.

I ordered about $750 worth of parts with free shipping, I get a call Monday and was told that one of my parts is not free shipping and it will be an additional $180, the cost of the part was $149. I canceled that part. It was confirmed that all items where in CT and would ship. I receive a email 3 days later that 5 out of the 11 parts I ordered have shipped. No statement as to where the rest is... no info as to where my money is... nothing. I am under a deadline and this is it? Now I have to chase them down to find out where are my parts or where is my money... who has time for this... waisting my time, lots of other places to take my business to.

I ordered a glove box light switch from them last week. I ordered the incorrect part so I called for a RTA number. Was told I needed to take pictures of it to verify the incorrect part. I already knew it was the incorrect part and wasn't going to take pictures of the incorrect part where it was only $20.95. Ridiculous!

Customer service is horrible. An order of mine got screwed up and they ended up saying they would give me a $25 credit. They didn't... and WOULDN'T... and the credit was $25 and my item was $999.98. Crap!

I would like to share my recent encounter with Mustang Unlimited. Place a order in Feb. 2018 for a ram air chamber for a 68 Shelby. After a week of not seeing a ship notice called sales and was notified it was backordered and it would be a week wait.
Week go by still no ship notice called sales again notified part would not be in until April
20. Not needing it right away I decided to wait for it. 4/20/2018 comes and goes still no ship notice. Call sales 4/23/18 ask for manager Eddie at ext 112 he informs me the part has been backordered since July 2017and they are suppose to receive them by June of 2018. Not wanting to wait 5 months for this part I started to check around and found it in stock at Tony Branda. Not sure why Mustangs Unlimited would advertise parts in their catalog that they can't deliver. Very disapointed how Mustangs Unlimited handles back orders and not informing me right from the begining they have trouble getting this part.
