Hedley Rental

Ben, from My rental advised us that the tenant would be on a 12 month lease, however, we later discovered that she has never signed a lease and in fact she is on a month to month basis, (which is completely against our instructions and guidelines of running our properties). My rental, never follows anything up, with anyone. They don't complete scheduled property inspections on time. The property inspections they did do, were incredibly vague (even another property management company commented on their "vague procedures") which is quite an understatement. They have no attention to detail. 99% of emails contained errors, they obviously never proofread anything. They take the liberty of amending dates for pre-agreed changes/increases in rent without consulting the owners of the properties. Furthermore, they seem to display a complete disregard for privacy. I deeply regret utilising their services, sometimes it is wiser to pay a little more for a much better quality service. We had to remind them of the rent increase that was meant to happen in September 2018. Ben felt at liberty to make the unilateral decision to postpone it to the next month, even though this was agreed with the tenants at the beginning of their tenancy. Upon the new property managers' initial inspection to the property, we found out that the tenant glued stickers to the walls during MyRental's management but they were completely unaware. This is due to the fact that they didn't inspect the property for close to 1 year. The lights in the unit were not working and MyRental's management, once again, has never addressed this issue with us because they didn't inspect the property... Save yourself a headache by not hiring this property management company to manage your assets. It's cheaper than other property management companies for a reason
