Claim Your BusinessThe worst! It took them from November to mid January to respond and when they finally set up an appointment to repair our fridge, they told us to remove everything in it because they only sent 1 man and they couldn't move it. Fine - we removed all items (took them downstairs to the garage fridge) and then they didn't show up and didn't call. When I contacted them the next day, they said they'd be out, and again we were told to remove items. Again, they didn't show or call. When I called the number I had, I was given a bunch of lies, that the part didn't come in, and then later in the conversation he said he didn't have time to get parts, then he said he was going away for a week and the parts were in his truck and he'd see me in a couple of weeks. Which one was the truth? Well... if you think THAT'S bad, wait till you hear this! I called the company and explained the issue, and that my warranty company sent me to them. The guy had attitude and said "THEY work for US, we don't work for them!" ok, well, I said "I honestly don't care, I just know I have a warranty, I was referred to you, and I need my fridge fixed" The guy refused to give me his name and said "I don't like this", when I asked for his name. Wow. Then he said he was going to transfer me to the Service Manager. After sitting on hold for a long time, he came back and said "The Service Manager doesn't want to speak with you." AND HE HUNG UP! I wouldn't now feel comfortable trusting them at all. Besides, if they are that independent, they don't need my business!

Warranty Repair Service
I have a 2-door Frigidaire refrigerator that I bought for $458 at Home Depot 2 years ago. I called for service because it's taking longer to freeze my food. It slipped my mind that we've been having heatwaves & temperatures are in the 90's the past week until now. I realized there might not be anything wrong with my refrigerator afterall. Anyway, it was too late to cancel the call. Greg, the technician came with a screw driver, a thermometer & a phone. He said he will tell me what's wrong & give me a quote within 5 minutes. He opened the freezer, saw the the ice cubes, pulled the refrigerator away from the wall, kneeled down & I heard 2 sounds pretending to unscrew & screw something but never really took out a cover or anything. He started writing on his form, got his phone & told me he needs to check the cost of the parts. He said that the compressor & the evaporator has a leak & needs to be replaced. Soon after, he said labor is $500 & the parts will cost me $400 for a total of $900. He asked if I have my receipt, the manufacturer might still have warranty on the parts & they might pay him for it so I just need to pay him the $500. I have been working at a copier repair service company for 30 years & I can't let this kind of behavior slide. I told him I would have felt better & found him trustworthy if he had recommended that I replace the refrigerator instead of giving me a ridiculous quote. He said he doesn't expect most customers to have their refrigerators fixed & his job is to give a quote. I was so disappointed & I felt robbed of $75. Saving & preserving earth will just be a dream... we will never realize it if this is the way we act & live. Please beware of this company & technicians like Greg.
Service man showed up on time but that is all that was positive about the visit. Quoted nearly $450 to fix an igniter in my gas oven. Easy access, $53 part from factory and he told me there would be a minimum $220 labor fee, $189 ignitor part cost and $20+ tax... all in about 5 min, 10 min at most. WHAT A RIP-OFF! Told him no way, called Maytag and they quoted a new gas dbl oven, same model, sells for $500 approximately DELIVERED! THIS OUTFIT is way out of orbit, technician could barely speak English. I showed him the door.
They claim to be an authorized Viking repair shop, they are not. They charge 2 to 3 times retail price for faulty parts, they do not and will not stand behind their warranty. Stay away from this business at all costs.
