Glasses broke 9 days after pick up. Came to store. Because I hadn't purchased insurance, I was bluntly told to go glue them myself. The woman at the counter then turned her back on me. I asked if there was a 30 day policy and she said no without even making eye contact. You just lost a long term customer for over 20 years. I couldn't even explain or ask about 30 day return on defects. Shame on you

My eye doctor told me progressive lenses would be great for me as I could use them for reading by looking through the bottom of the lens and also have good distance vision through the top. After they made my new lenses I could see great through the top but there was only a very small area that I could read through at the bottom and about 80% of the viewing area was distorted and blurry on each side. When I called to see if they could fix it they said that's normal but if you want to upgrade to a higher end lens it would be better. I did order a very expensive lens with a retail price of $404.00 and seems like they don't want to take responsibility for not telling me this would occur in the first place or they are lying and want me to spend even more $$. Think they are scammers and they are owned by Goldman Sachs now so beware.

I very recently had my first appointment. From the moment I walked and dealt with the office staff until the moment I left I was made to feel so comfortable. Dr. Adam Morrow is amazing and so personable. I've never experienced such an in depth eye examine. Paris took care of me in the eyewear section. She picked out the perfect frame for me! I will recommend this office to anyone needing eye care.

I got a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses.Very costly.They were very tight on my face.I asked if I could exchange them for a pair that fit.I had not worn them other than trying them on.He said NO,all sales are final.He was so arrogant.His Name is Dakota,works in New Smyrna Beach office.

I truly had the most wonderful experience 😌 at My Eye Dr Kaitlyn was so kind 😇 and helpful she made my day she is a true gem. Professional customer service at it's best👌. We have come here for 7 yrs. Our vision insurance ALWAYS covered eye exam.
It still does but this MyEye Doctor office refuses to accept it. They run the insurance info and say it isn't covered. I spoke with the Aetna rep and they state it IS coverered.
My wife's contacts took 6 months to arrive last year. She had the exam and contacts were ordered. 6 weeks later we inquired about them. We were told they needed to be reordered. We did. 6 more weeks passed. No contacts. They finally arrived2 weeks later.
The reps here were rude and condescending. Go elsewhere.

Went eleswhere and would recommend you do the same

MyEyeDr took over and ruined a great Austin local small business - Stars in Your Eyes.

MyEyeDr lost my favorite frames when they were having new prescription lens installed.
They charged me 50% of the replacement frame cost even though they lost them. I'm a 7-year loyal customer.
Then they turn my account over to a collections department who call and text my mobile relentlessly for weeks morning and night. I told the agent I woould go to the store and discuss this with them as I pay my bill in full before leaving the store everytime. Still the calls keep coming.
I go to the store and no one can assist me. I call the toll-free number and they can only collect money.

What a scam. Check the companies Better Busines Bureau score for headqurters in Vienna VA - a 1.3 rating out of 5. Terrible! Hundreds of consumer complaints.

BUYER BEWARE

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY !!!!

I have gone here before and they knew it yet they did not tell me. Oh we don't take your insurance anymore and wanted me to use my other insurance and pay all these deductibles and a crapload of out of pocket money and I kept trying to tell the lady no. Why would I pay that when I can go somewhere else and she was so rude and unprofessional. I will never go there again waste of my day and time

I recently went with my daughter to My Eye Dr. in Frederick, MD and her Dr., Umar Mahmood was extremely helpful. She wanted contacts, but was disappointed because they hurt her eyes last time. When I mentioned that the Dr. told us about several other options and recommended higher quality lens for my daughter to try. She loves them and I just ordered the news lenses for her. He even answered a couple of questions about my eye wear...I will definitely be booking my appointment with him.

I recently visited the Birmingham, Alabama office in Southside for my annual eye exam. I had LASIK surgery done in 2017 at the Colonade office and had every exam done at that location since, until today to save myself some distance from home. Initially, everything was fine. I had no wait time, the technician, Cass I believe, was very nice. My husband was also scheduled for an appointment 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment. He was driving in from out of state and according to his GPS at the time, he would be around 5 minutes late. I let the technician know to where she replied that it was fine as long as it wasn't more than 15 minutes. Being in healthcare myself, I completely understood and told her if he found himself being more than 15 minutes late that he would reschedule, no problem. I was then left alone in the exam room to await the doctor. I heard the technician tell the front desk that my husband would be 5 minutes or so late to give them a heads up. A few minutes later I caught myself hearing a lot of personal conversation among the staff. No big deal. A little unprofessional, but I kind of felt bad that I could hear the very personal conversation, and thought they must not know that I was just behind the door. 10 minutes before my husband's scheduled appointment I heard one of the staff members say "she needs to be honest whether her husband is actually going to be 5 minutes late or longer". While I was waiting, I called my husband to check his location. He said he would be later than 5 minutes but would make it before 15. He had gotten stuck behind a wreck. After a few more minutes of hearing the staff degrade a few patients, luckily no names were mentioned, I heard one of them say "watch he will show up at 14 minutes and 30 seconds past his appointment". By then I was annoyed and planned on having a conversation with the doctor when he came in. I also told my husband to go ahead and call and let them know he just wanted to reschedule. When he called there was no answer and a text with a link was sent to him to reschedule his appointment. Since he was already there and actually under the 15 minute time limit, he came on in. He let them know that he was aware he was late and was fine not to be seen but was unable to call and talk to them directly so thought it best to stop by. He let them know that I had overheard the conversation and with us both being in healthcare that we didn't appreciate the unprofessionalism. We understand that our work lives and our personal lives overlap and venting and talking with our coworkers is normal. It isn't however, normal or acceptable to degrade patients in earshot of said patient or another patient. From what my husband told me, their office manager was very apologetic. I'm not blaming everyone in the office, but someone has to get the chatter under control when it's in earshot of patients. I felt like my exam overall was fine minus I felt a bit pressured to have glasses made due to a very minimal prescription. I was told I had 20/15 vision before the doctor even came in. I have never been told by the other office that glasses was something I needed and felt like they were just trying to make a sale. I will not be back to this location.

I paid both eye Ortho-K Lenses for my daughter at Oct 9,2023, the office told us wait for 1-2 weeks, we waiting for over a months, but we only got one eye of the lenses, we still waiting for another eye Lenses, disappointed services, unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend the Newton EyeDr. Location with Dr Frank office.

5809 Leesburg pike store location is where i went for my eye exam and glasses. Dr. Jones was excellent she had great customer service skills, and felt very comfortable with her. No complaints for her. One of the front desk ladies was no help at all couldn't purchase my glasses because she claimed that she didn't know what to do. There was a problem that we ran into, and she was so busy doing other things instead of taking the time to figure out what was going on with my insurance. After a while she totally ignored me. I felt so out of place, to the point i went someplace else, and was able to get my eye glasses. I would never go there again, or refer anyone to that place

I recently visited MyEyeDr and had an amazing experience! Everyone who worked there was very friendly, which created an upbeat atmosphere. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything to me, which made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Kenya helped me with my glasses fitting and she was great! They also had an excellent selection of frames to choose from, and I got the cutest pair of Pradas and a cute set covered through my insurance. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great eye care provider.

For the 1st time, I went to the Arundel Mills location. No one greeted me as I entered, I had to seek out personnel to determine what I was supposed to do. Begrudgingly, a man behind the desk motioned me to the back after giving him my name. The eye doctor was more concerned about cracking jokes about me aging than listening to anything I had to say. To seal the deal, he said it was stupid of my husband not to pay for an eye benefit despite the rest of the family having perfect vision. I only need readers but he is pushing what he says will be a $600 pair of glasses out of convenience. Thanks, I'll go to Costco or Walmart and see what the total is; I am not giving these JOKERS anymore of my business!

Our family used to go to this office. After Mary Jo Steigemeier, OD retired and sold to myeyedr the service went downhill. We have decided to go elsewhere. We know other families who had the same experience and left as well. This postcard showed up this past week using Mary Jo Steigmeier's name - it is FALSE ADVERTISING - I called to ask for an appointment with Mary Jo and of course I was told she is not there. I asked why is her name and photo on the postcard as if she is there and they chuckled and said "well, I don't know." I told them it was false advertising and there was no further discussion.

The customer service skills today were excellent, Maya was attentive patient and knowledgeable. She explained my coverage and met my needs. Very customer focused. Thank you for having Maya on your team. When I decided the original f frames I picked out did not compliment my face she helped me to find another pair with a smile.

I want to thank the customer service, Karolina and Miss Sulema. They were outstanding, and they presented the product the glasses with good quality. I was pleased with all the service I received from them. They have always been very professional and helpful, and they go above and beyond to help me and find a perfect guy to my name, I was impressed with the quality they offered and the prices, thank you to Carolina and Sulema. I went to the Clarendon, VA, store on 4/29 and ordered a pair of glasses. One month passed, and nothing - email, text, or call. One month later, I called and canceled the order. I had never experienced a health service company that did not care about its customers until MyEyeDr. And their website only caters to appointments. Hardly any feedback on orders. Their message on my order was they put in a rush request.

She started off, by asking me how I was—I told her I was in a car accident.
I asked, her to help me pick some frames. She showed me compassion &
Jumped up and started getting me framed to choose from. She found me some
Wonderful frames! She went over the paper work, very thorough. Thank you Julie (At a girl)

Had an appointment when I showed up they wanted to charge me an additional $44.00 fee for the doctors convenience of not coming to the office. If I set up a tele-health appointment it is for my convenience not for the doctors convenience. RIDICULOUS is all I have to say!

After spending $1200 on a new pair of glasses, 2 adjustments, and being told that I will just have "to get used to them". 6 months later, they sit in a drawer absolutely worthless. The worst customer service ever. Don't waste your time or your money!

Dr. Coccia is a good physician, he is personable, has a great chair side manner and very knowledgeable. He listens while making eye contact (unlike other physicians consistently dictating while your talking). Additionally, Lynn at front desk and Laura his tech are equally as professional and compliant the doctor's well. However, one of their newest staff Nicole was extremely rude unprofessional is an understatement. While explaining how my husbands appt was cancelled incorrectly she never allowed to explain how, yet cut me off twice only to offer the telephone number to their Relations Department. When I attempted to tell her …that she wasn't even listening to my explanation but rather was being rude she signed (with what sounded like frustration) and again stated "that's the policy, I can give u the number for relations dept. I then ask her to speak with ….(before I could ask for Lynn or the Mgr) she responded "have a good day" and call was disconnected.
Because I really really like the doctor Coccia. I put up with these NEW "business practices". As, I realize MyEyeDoc is attempting to run a money making business, and patient care is not their priority. Again, evident with their newest practice to re-confirm your appt times otherwise it will automatically cancel. Then there's the constant turnover with staff (from contact lens staff to mgmt), over lapping appts (again maximizing the doctors schedule) and last but not least limited selection of frames. Thou I've been a patient for many years I am currently questioning if I will return as I WILL NOT tolerate is disrespect ESP when I spend my money.
