“Are they a scam?”

I'm wondering because I have called the customer service number a few times and had the same experience with different reps. They pick up the phone, but don't say anything. You start saying hello, hello then they respond. The first time we got cut off after we started talking, the second time they picked up the phone and hung up. The next time we got cut off again before they could help resolve my login issue. This has been going on for a week. They do not return messages I've left. I'm thinking of asking our employer to find a different place to invest our retirement program. My gut tells me there is something fishy going on with My Ubiquity.

Unbelievable services that don't resolve any issues. Terrible Implementation team that does not know how the conversion works between other providers and their plan. Even the sales person <?> said that one-person company (an owner w/o employees) could have a traditional 401k... how dumb.

I don't even know where to begin. Each issue takes 3-4 calls and at least 4 emails. The transfer of over $300,000 was to have been taken place 4 weeks ago and they removed the funds and never wired to my new provider. 3 days and 6 calls, 5 emails later they make the wire with no explanation. DO NOT USE the worst company!

Tip for consumers:

I tried to initiate a 401K rollover with Ubiquity and they will not release my funds without my previous employer approval. This is 100% my money(R-Cubed is too cheap to match 401K deductions) but Ubiquity still requires plan administrator approval. I initiated the process in mid-February and have had to initiate follow up three times. It is now 4/21 and we are no closer to getting my funds. Gabe from Ubiquity suggested a file a complaint with the US Labor Department! How ridiculous is that? I DO RECOMMEND ANYONE INVEST WITH UBIQUITY!

Tip for consumers:
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!

This site has one of the worst UX experience for a finance site. The only thing worse than the site is the service they provide. They repeatedly drop the ball on activities that are critical to customer and then don't even let us know that they did not accomplish the activity. We only know if/when we check. Seems like very ancient model of customer service.

I experienced the most liberating feeling from theonline401k - once i left it. I cannot trust them with our money.

They do not return my phone calls or emails, they gave misleading information. RUN!
