Great company that's going to have what you need. And as a bonus, check out their videos with Mark on Youtube. Really knows his stuff and will show you how.
An agency do not require to pay upfront. They get money if you get money. (see picture) I've done several like this one, and I'm telling you it's a SCAM. I'm pretty sure those who wrote good review here are paid by them to do it. It's very sad, the lady seems super nice, it's a shame they use people naiveness to get money...
No customer service. Just care about wasting your money. No real guidance getting into the industry. Superficial salesperson that sell you a dream, website is outdated and hard to use to get castings, I really dislike this organization and the people behind it.

I was told it was a free sign up and that I didn't realize I had to pay if I wanted to move forward in auditions. Just be aware if they ask for your credit card, they're going to charge you. They charged me $99 for sign up and it said monthly would be 40. Definitely a scam and not worth it. It's Never Mentioned In Zoom Meeting, Only In Contract, Make Sure You READ Your Contract. Learn My Lesson.
I first heard about NINE9 through instagram. I joined an open call because I have always wanted to be an actress, but I've never known how to start and this seemed like a good opportunity! I have no reference for how an open call is supposed to go, but this one seemed to go well, I was convinced they could help me. I paid the fee; however, I was unaware of the cost it would be to maintain a spot on the website… you pay an initial $99 and then you pay $40 a month to keep going. The guy on the open call made it sound like the original fee was the only thing I would have to pay, so I went ahead and paid it. After creating an account, I did some research on the company and found multiple people saying it's a scam, which resulted in me freaking out. I texted someone who reached out to me from NINE9 about a refund and I emailed the billing office, it took them a while to reply, so I called someone from NINE9 and she was very polite and helpful. Eventually I got my money back, so I'm not sure if this is truly a scam or if they are actually trying to help people who want to be actors. I would just say do your research before paying and be carful! The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the people that work there are very nice and helpful!
All they do is talk about how to be an actor, model, etc.
They ask 100 up front then ask you to pay monthly during this crisis here in the USA like rent and food like bruh we struggling to pay already lie about getting paid at least around 500 for jobs for acting, not a single one opend up, im already struggling to get money and hoping this would pay the bills, not worth it.
Tip for consumers:
One zoom meeting we were supposed to talk about make up instead we talked about something like what?
I'm not sure for certain but what I do know is on the open call, ONLY HER CAMERA was on and it said RECORDING at the top of the screen. As if they are MIRRORING the information you type.
It was kind of skeptical because why are they recording if SHE was the only one who can be seen and heard! The price is $99 to sign up PLUS $40 a month to keep yo profile.
They got me on a group zoom and sent me a link to Register for $90 one time payment plus $30 something a monthly fee.
I told them let me sleep on it before I decide to join or not...they told me the link expires a midnight that same day.
They lost me right there...nothing legit has an expiration date to register.
If I putting my money down I want to be able to choose when I do that.
To all aspiring actors. Agency's work for you, they get paid when you get paid. You never pay an agency. Never! This is the oldest scam and still works because people give them money. I'll say it one more time. You never, ever pay an agency upfront until you land a job... Call any successful agency in LA and NYC, they will tell you the same, so stop giving them money.
I answered a FB ad about casting for a TV series and was texted same day. They wanted to have an open audition zoom meeting next day. I ended up looking them up on BBB and saw abysmal reviews and confronted them about it. They assured me there was no up front costs so I decided to attend the open audition. Needless to say, it ended up being a sales pitch to join them for $99 plus a monthly fee. Avoid at all costs, predatorial sales tactics and a waste of time.
Tip for consumers:
Just lies...

None, left the predatorial sales call as soon as upfront costs were mentioned.
I've been in phone sales all my life. Many Americans are scammed out of their money I've seen it a lot but this time they were going to get me. I believe I had my blinders on because the goal of getting on American idol. She mentioned it in the beginning of the call and so I think the passion everybody has of becoming an actor in a star shuts down that part of your brain that's supposed to say don't do it. Instead it touches that button of oh my gosh I might actually get on the show. My good friend said well just Google her first make it sure before you send any money I said I will do and thank God I did. Thanks for everybody's reviews it saved me money.
This was very informative, but I wish there was more information up front. For example, my screen was black the entire time. If that is normal, I would have liked an explanation of what to expect.
Interested in everything you discussed

I was told this was going to be a casting call for the outer banks tv show. But it ended up being a zoom meeting were they want money from you up front and they also want you to pay a monthly fee. Thank god I have done work on tv shows and some modeling and know to NEVER pay anyone until they get you a contact. Then they get a % of what you make. Also I see they have alot of bad reviews.
Everything is very brief with the call. It's like here take my money in hope of making money.
Been trying different things

Please read reviews on companies before you send them money. I was on the zoom call with them and everything is too sketchy, so I googled their reviews and too much negative came up. Neon red flag!
Reading is fundamental. Read reviews in depth before sending money to these companies. They shouldn't be asking for money up front before they do anything to help you. That's a dead giveaway that it's a scam.
I thank God I didn't fall for it.
Tip for consumers:
Read the reviews in depth, not just the pretty ones they put up. Go to BBB and see the terrible reviews. I’m so sick and tired of scammers making money off unsuspecting people. It was a waste of my valuable time. No one should be asking for money up front when they haven’t done anything to help you with a “NO REFUND” policy. Major

None! I saw the red flags
So far it's been okay. I just don't want this to be a gimmick as I have worked in this industry before.
Because I would really like to be back in to the entertainment industry as I have a lot to offer an a lot of talent an exper6with international travels.
Being casted.
THEY CAME OUT ON VICE! And set my boy Taji for failure
They pay so much for advertising!
Def quantity over quality. They don't care who's on the call.
They say it's a casting call yet it's not. It's more of a scam tbh. If you're running a business how are you not seeing who you're interviewing? How do you not pick and choose who you want? I've been to casting calls and this ain't it lol
Steps
1) pitch you a 20min video
2) then they explain pricing ( they will hit you with the " oh Covid affected us all so we dropped the price 400$)
3) then while your on the call they will have you pay the fees. And will call out random names acting like people paid but I'm reality it's their own people.

Hi! I'm writing this because the way they took my money was not fair I joined on Thursday or Friday of May which was maybe like the 18th or 19th and they said that my money is not refundable. I told him I needed an operation and could not continue. That was so unfair so please do not give them your money.

None of there services so if. They can do this 50x a week they don’t need to refer you.
Sounds exciting to have a company like this assisting people who have dreams and desires of acting & modeling

You probably received a random text, not having contacted their company. Right? Your phone number was probably purchased from a collector. They will invite you to a caring call "Hi (you) it's xxx, there are some new Casting Calls so I want you to attend a Virtual Open Call tomorrow. Can you do 11am, 1pm or 3pm ET. Which one?" But, it's not a casting call - is a sales call for their PAID service, which is a scam. Legitimate casting companies DO NOT charge their actors to be included in their databases. My best advice to you is to block their number immediately - because they will text again, and again, and again... {Barf}
Do NOT give these people your money! Check their reviews! See some that I checked below -especially the Better Business Bureau. They've only been registered since 2019 and have had LOADS of complaints!
Tip for consumers:
No legitimate talent agency asks the actor to pay to be included in their database of talent.
Kinda weird you didn't mention the fee until the end and then it charged me $99, which I thought was waved for this month
I’m looking to start a new career
Private auditions
Attention actors! Please do not give these people any of your hard earned money. No representation (whether they call themselves a legit agency or not) requires you to pay them money for them to consider finding you auditions. Your agent shouldn't be getting money unless you find a job. That is the point of the relationship between actor and agent. Once they get your money they won't have any incentive to find you jobs. Take it from someone that is in the scene. Hollywood doesn't recognize these people as legit agents. So even if they try to book you an audition you won't get hired because it's not legit. They haven't been banned because they call themselves an "unagency" but that in itself is a red flag. Agencies are there to help actors while also making money off of your SUCCESS. I repeat. Do not pay anyone money to book you auditions. You only give a percentage of your contract IF you get casted. These people are disgusting and they prey on desperate amateur actors. And their "success" stories are just paid actors to draw people in. Again anytime someone asks for money just to find auditions it's a scam and tell them no.
Money making scheme. They don't tell the truth about how this business works.Don't fall for this.
Save your money.
Tip for consumers:
DON’T
They lie about costs and what they actually are. Any agency will only make money from projects you are in. Nine9, The Unagency is a huge scam.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from Nine9. Huge scam.
Had my daughter enrolled with them and it was a waste of money. Have been trying to cancel membership for six months and they are still running my card.
