Okra and Molly

Our dog Shah's birthday was in February, and we ordered a cake for his 8th birthday. The cake came out perfectly, and he enjoyed it until it was gone. The design was perfect for our boy and his sister, Raya to share. Thank you for making his 8th birthday special!

WE have purchased a Birthday Cake Subscription for our English Bulldog for her 1st Birthday and we just had her 8th celebration. We love that it is easy to customize if needed and can make adjustments as needed for dates and delivery location.

I've ordered birthday cakes for the past 3 years for my dog. I ordered one this year with two day shipping. I ordered Wednesday with a shipment date of Friday that I chose on the available ship dates on their shipping calendar. I received a text from customer service on Thursday that they would not be able to complete my order by Friday. The greeting and communication was very unprofessional. I was good I don't know why it gives California residents an option for shipping by Friday but we don't do that. That was basically the response. No greeting or explanation. No apology. My dog loves these cakes and I'm sad she won't get one for her birthday pawty this year. I am turned off by the indifferent customer service and sad I will have to find another place to get my dog's birthday cakes from now on.

We ordered a cute-looking cake for our dog's birthday and it arrived on time. But we were stunned when we opened it that it was hard as a brick...we thought it was a dog CAKE, with pet-safe ingredients, not a giant biscuit covered in a rock hard fondant (or concrete?)

On the day of the event my neighbors took turns hitting the cake with a hammer (for fun but also because it was too hard to cut with a knife) until finally we chipped a piece off...and unsurprisingly the dog refused to touch it. Can't blame him...who eats rocks, anyway?

Prior to the big day I reached out to their Customer Service equivalent to complain about how hard it was and they basically said 'too bad, so sad, go away'...

We found Okra and Molly by coincidence and have been ordering ever since. We have 2 dogs and make it a point to order their cakes every em year for their bday. We've tried both flavors and they're always a hit. Our dogs even share with their friends who all love the cake as well. The cakes look amazing too which helps us feel like we're spoiling our Dillon and Darcy who deserve all the spoiling in the world!

The cake came in perfect condition and had my dogs name on it. The only thing that wasn't the best was that the cake came a day late. Overall though it was a great experience.

We purchased the peanut butter and pumpkin balloon cake for his 3rd birthday and he absolutely loved it. He devoured it. The packaging was super cute! The only issue I had was that the large birthday ribbon I got, there was no way to put it on him. So I had to grab one of his bandanas to put it on him. Other than that, it was amazing and I'll be purchasing here from now on!

I recently had the opportunity to try the offerings from Okra & Molly, and while I was thoroughly pleased with the cake itself, I cannot help but express my deep frustration and disappointment with their service.

Let's start with the positives. The cake I ordered was an absolute delight. Its taste and presentation exceeded my expectations, leaving my taste buds truly satisfied. The careful craftsmanship and attention to detail in the cake's design showcased the bakery's dedication to their craft.

However, the glow from the cake was dimmed by the unfortunate experience I had with their service. It all began with a missed delivery date, which immediately set off a series of frustrations. To make matters worse, they managed to misspell my beloved dog's name on the cake. Distressed by these issues, I decided to reach out to the bakery via email to address the situation.

To my disbelief, the response I received lacked the basic courtesy of an apology. Instead, the tone of their message took a surprising turn – they started lecturing me. This unprofessional and dismissive approach to customer service left me feeling not only frustrated but also utterly infuriated. When dealing with such matters, empathy and understanding go a long way, and it was disheartening to see these crucial aspects sorely lacking.

In summary, my experience with Okra & Molly was a mix of delight and disappointment. The cake itself was a masterpiece of taste and aesthetics, showcasing the bakery's culinary prowess. However, the shadows cast by a missed delivery, a misspelled name, and an unsatisfactory response to my concerns left me questioning the quality of their customer service. As a customer who was ready to be won over by their offerings, I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth – a sentiment that, unfortunately, overshadows the sweetness of their cake.

This cake was sooo cute! I customized it and loved it! I ordered it to come on the 24th, since their website said it would get there by the day of, sometimes even a day before. It did not come until the afternoon of the 26th... which was right after her puppy party...

I will probably order again next year, but order a week before I need it... I know they ship USPS which is notoriously late... so not completely their fault.

When our order was delayed due to weather (nobody's fault!), I emailed O&M to inquire about picking it up from them directly since we are based in Nashville. Not only did they reply promptly but they offered to hand deliver a fresh, backup cake for our girl that very day! The original cake ended up arriving only a day late and was still fresh - both designs were absolutely beautiful and I highly recommend Okra & Molly for any reason to celebrate your pup!

From the second I reached out to get some upfront info, to the moment the box arrived on my doorstep - everything was seamless and stress-free. The Okra and Molly team was quick to answer my questions via email prior to me placing the order, and were incredibly clear about shipping and production time. In addition to fantastic customer service, the cake itself was beautiful. This may have been the first time I ordered from them, but it certainly won't be my last. 11/10 recommend them for your pup's special day.

My pups absolutely love when their birthdays come around. The cakes come looking SO nice. The dogs sniff the box as soon as it gets delivered. They love the taste. We give it to the dogs for a couple days as they are big. They are a great price. We will always celebrate our dogs birthday with Okra and Molly cake. Thanks for being so great and convenient

This is my second time ordering a bday cake for my pup from Okra and Molly and yet again they did not disappoint. The design was so cute! My pup loved it! They complete and ship their orders fast and I love that they include a cute little birthday hat for my doggo. I got so many compliments on the cake when I posted a photo to social media. Thanks for being such an awesome company! You've made a lifelong customer out of me!

Guys, I apologize for messing up yesterday. I posted a review for Cubby, and I didn't realize that I only gave 1 star. This is an amazing company to do business with. I was very impressed with the cake, as was my dog :) Great quality all around! Thank you for helping us celebrate a very important day! We will be purchasing from Okra and Molly again!

My dog absolutely loves their cakes. I get him one every year on his birthday. There easy to order, arrives fast, and reasonable priced. Very pleased.

I have ordered multiple times from them. Never had a problem until this last order. I bought a 3 tier cake for my baby that's dying. Celebrated his bday early due to his cancer progressing and spreading. I told them I wants it to say Happy 15th Birthday Zeus. Instead I got a cake saying " Happy 6th Gotcha day. Now this is quite a difference. Haven't gotten ahold of anyone for a refund or replacement. Usually I wouldn't care, but it is my boys last few months here on earth and I was taking pics for a quilt I'm having made and it was pretty simple what I asked for. I even let them select the colors ( boy) $64 for a cake that was nothing like what I asked for. I even put in the comment section that he is dying. Very disappointed.

I received an email saying the cakes were delivered. They were nowhere to be found or in the mailbox. There is no way to contact this company if there is a problem. As they make sure not to list a phone number for questions. This one is on me for choosing this business but it won't happen again. This is not me being rude but you should have better customer service that this.

Okra and Molly cakes are adorable and they can do almost any design you would like! They are also delicious, my dog loves them! Highly recommend for a personalized party for your pups!

This is the second time I've ordered a cake from Okra and Molly for my fur-baby's birthday PAW-TY and both times they did NOT disappoint. The cakes were made with safe flavorful ingredients, on time, moist, well wrapped and enjoyed by all the fur-kids. Will definitely order again in the future!

I ordered extra party hats and did not receive them.

Great experience all around! The order arrived exactly when it was scheduled and the cake was so cute! My puppy absolutely loved his birthday cake! We can't wait to order another one next year.

The Okra team was very helpful and provided great service. I was disappointed with the over all size of the product. It fits in the palm of my hand and for the money spent plus shipping there is a chain dog bakery that creates a bigger cake with similar ingredients. Also, I was restricted on what designs I could select due to the heat.
