This is my favorite earning site on the internet right now! I have earned several hundred dollars on here just doing little surveys! Once you collect 25,000 points its a straight paypal cash out for $25! It doesnt take long at all! Love it!

“Still don't have the money I earned”

OneOpinion has still not allowed me to get into my account, and their responses to my communications have been either stalling frivolity or nothing. Steer clear of this business, and remember that they are owned by the same parent company as other survey sites. After this, I won't bother with any survey sites. Besides not being worth it financially, the stress of being screwed over is not positive. Who needs that? This is not a side hustle for me.

I wish I'd seen these reviews before I joined One Opinion. I joined a few months ago, and it was my favorite survey site. Then I tried to redeem my points. I had amassed $73.65, and I tried to redeem part of it for a $25 PayPal transfer. It said I needed approval, which should take up to 72 hours. A week later I wrote to them, and several days later they said it was cleared to do the request again. So later that day, I tried again and was successful. Then I decided to redeem the next $25 the same way, making sure I got all the money I could out of the account before I did more surveys, and I couldn't even sign in to my account. It said my password was wrong, even though I knew it wasn't. So I reset my password. It still said it was wrong.

So I wrote to them again, but since I couldn't sign in, the only way I could email them was by replying to the response they had sent to my previous email. They said I would have to reactivate my account, once again providing an image of my license, as well as a photo of myself. I'm pretty sure no other company asked for this when I signed up, and now they want it twice. So I have written to them asking if this is a way to cheat me out of my remaining $48.65, because it sure seems like it.

I've had nothing but trouble since I dared to want the money I earned. I'm very diligent about my survey answers. I know companies spend a lot of money and time on their surveys, and I want to give them the best responses I can. To be treated like this is fraudulent, and if they don't give me my money, I will be looking into starting a class action lawsuit. I know there are a lot of people who would want to be involved in this, just on this site alone.

Between their failure to pay me my money, extremely slow responses to my emails and their own deadlines, and the fact that they not only have a lot of personal information about me they've amassed, but also an image of my license and another picture of me, I am concerned. The $48.65 is one thing, but my identity is another.

I was cheated out of getting paid and I second the below review.(on surveypolice) I gave my personal information and verified my address by mail and got my points taken away! My account was closed for no reason and very rude copy paste messages with a kind regards at the end. The worst survey panel I've ever been apart of. I will stick with the many honest and amazing panels I already have that actually PAY me and don't steal my personal information.

Tried One Opinion. Thought it was great at first but after only 2 cash outs, I was accused of violating terms. I am on many survey sites and never have any issues. I have been locked out permanently and feel like One Opinion is a waste of time. They wont tell me if I was hacked or if I should be concerned over my privacy. I feel they are very unprofessional.

I've been completing surveys for OneOpinion for over two years and up until now have never had a problem However, recently they are not posting rewards as promised. At the end of a survey they will offer additional questions for additional reward. These points do not post right away. I emailed and was told they would post in 2-3 weeks. Following up is a pain but necessary because it has now been FIVE WEEKS and still no additional points.

I would like to know why I cannot redeem gift card points. Evert time I try to redeem it shows me an error message that says try back later to redeem gift card. I respond to the online website at one opinion and they told me that maybe I was using a VOIP, i do not know what a VOIP entails. I put in my cell phone number and a code I still get a error message. I tried several times to email them and I have of yet only receive one response from them. I continue to get the error message so I cannot redeem for my points. I was wondering if they can redeem the point and mail me a gift card for the points.

The first few years I used this, it was great. I learned fast to get the 50 points five times a day then move on to other sites to not waste more time... The rewards came fast and there were only a few glitches.

Then... they denied my credibility by claiming my ip address wasn't in the US. I was in a southern state and the US VI for training. They locked my account w/ over $100 at that time and refused to pay me $50 for an at home item review b/c I took it out of my home state. I called a representative after training, he reactivated my account then promptly closed it when I cashed out. I called again, and reactivated it,... they denied my state was a state again and locked me out. After I talked to a person who passed elementary American geography, I was reactivated and have been ok now for 8 months.

Be wary when you get over $75. They go full blown sketchy. And they look at all your answers so don't fib/curse.

One Opinion used to be my go to survey site, but recently has gone downhill. They refuse to give me what is owed after saying I would be rewarded. I don't think I'm the only one with this issue. But, stay away from this scam of a business!

One Opinion, like other posters said, use to be a go to survey site. They paid even when you disqualified. They limited the amount you could earn on disqualifications each day but since they offered new surveys every day it wasn't so frustrating. A number of months ago they got a bot chat which is NO help at all. Then a few months ago I stopped getting invites; when I logged into my account I found it was frozen. When I emailed to query they responded with, there were issues related to my account activity but won't disclose those alleged issues. They further claim they can't give me any information as it would "compromise our internal security system processes."

I was a member of Zoom Panel for many years before One Opinion took over and never had any problems. Last week One Opinion made me verify my account with a lengthy process including submitting my driver's license. After my account was verified they told me my account was suspended. One Opinion has had fewer and fewer surveys in the past year and less incentives. They said they were suspending my account because of false statements on my surveys. That's ridiculous because I'm always very precise. They closed my account owing me $50. What a wonderful way for a struggling company to replenish their bank account--they close accounts of people they owe money to and then claim it's your fault. I am furious and would rate them -10 if I could.

I have been a member for about 5 years and about two days ago I stopped getting surveys. I reached out for help and they said Unfortunately, our system detected multiple account violations and suspended your account. Im waiting to hear back from them and asked them to be more specific and to give an example. I always answered honestly and to the best of my ability. I have had this happen before and I think it is because once you start making to much they dont want to pay out and they suspend your account. At least there are many survey sites out there to try.

Years ago, OneOpinion was one of the best survey sites out there. They had a lot of surveys every day and they paid well for them. Then, a couple of years ago, Dynata bought them out and it's been downhill ever since. Fewer surveys every day, less points per survey, and a ridiculous bot for questions. "Emily" the bot, only has answers to 3 questions, after that it will respond that it doesn't understand you.

All of that would be okay if they didn't constantly "pause" your account for no reason. They ask a barrage of questions about your browser and internet and after a week or so they reinstate your account. On this last pause, I had just redeemed for a $25 gift card and they cancelled the order... without returning the points. So I'm out the money they owe me, and they still send loads of emails every day telling me there are surveys available. Thanks, but no thanks.

Stay away from them. It's a waste of time, and you'll only end up with aggravation.

And I am so disappointed with the way they handled the change to their rewards. They used to send out Visa gift cards that could be used anywhere. It was awesome. They went digital (I get it. Keeping up with the times) but the cards didn't work for me. I tried on more than one website and they never went through. I asked OneOpinion's customer support for help *several* times and got answers like "it's a great card that works on multiple sites" not helpful. I needed them to give actual help not a generic answer. Out of all the people who answered, not ONE person helped talk me through it/explain it... actually help me. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service, their website and the fact that I was loyal for years. They owe me a measly 25 bucks that I'll never see, but they got my opinions. A good survey site is Toluna. I recommend them. OneOpinion ignores you when you have a problem. They were a great company who became unprofessional in a very short time. I am disappointed and don't recommend them.

I have used or worked for this company for about a year and a half now! Up until this past month never had an issue at all but then I went to cash out a 25.00$ Amazon gift card, which takes a very long time to accumulate because a lot of times there are not even any surveys to take! I seriously was only able to redeem a gift card 2 times! Then last week I tried to redeem a gift card and the next day I noticed that they canceled it, so I wrote there help department but got no response! I had to contact them three times before getting a cryptic message:

We took the aforementioned action after reviewing the accuracy and attentiveness of your account activity. As a renowned market research provider, we take the validity of our research data very seriously and needed to take steps to address the matter.

We appreciate your time on our panel but, as previously stated, we unfortunately have no option other than to permanently suspend your account. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your patience.

Kind regards,
Annalie
OneOpinion

So I have written them again:

I would like to know what I did!?!?!? I have done all surveys openly and honestly and never tried to cheat! I just want what I earned and then I'll never work for your company ever again! I have been doing surveys for years with several companies and have never had any issues! I am so extremely offended and so disappointed to be treated this way! Again I just want what I earned!

But of course I have not gotten any more information or response from them! So my opinion is don't waste your valuable time which valuable and try another company like: Swagbucks or SurveyJunkie!

Thank you for taking the time to read my review! Stay safe and have a good day!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t waste your time because it’s too valuable!!!

I have been a member of OneOpinion for years with no problem... until recently. Starting in August or September, they stopped sending me emails and locked me out of my account. I contacted customer service; they asked the usual questions about browsers, VPNs, and devices, then said they would look into it. A few days later I received an email from Roy saying "It appears our system is flagging your account due to browser-related issues" (copied from his actual email), and they were working on it. The next day I started receiving emails again, but the points I had already earned were labeled as forfeited. I contacted Roy again and he quickly activated my earned points again.

After a week or so, the emails stopped coming again. I contacted them once again. Ten days later Dave sends me an email telling me my account has been indefinitely suspended because "you may only have one account, provide accurate profile information and survey responses. You must also be thoughtful and attentive in responding to our surveys."

I only have one account, my profile is accurate, except my age changes every year (duh!), and I always answer surveys to the best of my ability. I read fast so I may not spend an hour on every question, but I can guarantee I answer every question truthfully and accurately. So, they got their surveys answered for free because they suspended me and kept what I earned.

So, I'm either a cheat working the system or my browser is causing problems depending on if you ask Roy or Dave. Then I start searching for reviews and find they're culling the herd. I don't think the problem is me or my browser. I think the problem lies with the unethical actions of OneOpinion. They don't seem to like a certain type of person or something.

Don't waste your time unless you like to be cheated and then be accused of being a cheat and liar yourself just because you had the audacity to ask why you weren't getting emails and couldn't get into your account. Granted, they used to be awesome, then they sold out. Now they're not half the company they used to be.

Oneopinion randomly suspended my account once I reached ******* points to redeem my reward claiming they could not disclose why my account was suspended and then stating I was not truthfully responding when I made ******* points and was simply inquiring about why I was unable to cashout with my paypal which I had cashed out two other times prior without a problem. End result they never answered my question about my reward of $25 and simply deactivated my account. This is all a shocker for me because I do respond with all honesty so claiming the contrary simply to not pay me is very uncalled for. I have unsubscribed from their surveys and wasted my time.

This one takes patience as you have to build up to $25 to redeem. Also, you can end up with the "varies" survey which doesn't do much besides redirect you to a bunch of questions but you never seem to finish the survey. It is worth the effort!

Tip for consumers:
Keep up the effort and it pays off!

They are OpinionOne now and you can only get 50 points for the 1st 5 disqualifications. So I don't ever see myself cashing out for a while to come! Even if they lowered the cash incentives it doesn't make up for losing out on all the points. I have maybe only qualified for one survey out of hundreds of attempts after they changed their site. Miss how Myview was just their own and gave out 100 points for several surveys you get kicked off and waste your time for. How can I ever cash out when I cannot finish a survey?! And it takes a while to get kicked off too. :/ May just quit after or IF I ever cash out.

There is no way to contact these people if you have a problem. There is no longer phone support only a limited AI help called Emily. This means there is no way to contact them as the FAQ are also very limited. If you are lucky enough not to ever need help then the surveys are good, though limited number of surveys for seniors. Redeeming points is not a hassle and there is no long wait.

My problem comes when I do not have a mobile phone, only landline so I can't get any codes to verify when can't get into acct. My PW manager is not letting me in and I can't get into email acct to verify, so can't get into any other acct. This means customer service here, and other sites, Suck big time.

Tip for consumers:
Write your PWs in an address book so you will be able to get at them when needed...never use Last Pass PW manager.

I won't give them a one-star rating because they frequently send survey invitations and some of their surveys are worth at least a few thousand points. On the other hand, the negatives outweigh the positives. You must accumulate 25,000 points to get a retail gift card (no cash offered), some of the surveys are routed to sites where you constantly get routed to other surveys and you will often get a survey that takes much longer than the ten or fifteen minutes promised before you begin, with the incentive (1000 points) not worth it. Finally, it takes too long to get the 25,000 points anyway.

I gave OneOpinion a 5 rating because I love that you can get points even if you don't qualify for their surveys but they also fail to give points where due, so maybe a 4. Just pay attention. If you complete the entire survey and do not get the points you feel you are entitled to they will usually correct it but it's just a bit of a hassle to have to keep begging for your points.
