“I like ONLINE AUCTION”

Iva G.

I like this auction site, great customer service! I like the fact that I can list what I want and how many for any length of time. I think it depends on what you are selling that gets the most sales. Coins and jewelry are big sellers at OLA. Some vintage glassware sells good also. The most important to me is not to have the hassel like at Ebay. I guess you just have to give it a try, I personally like Online Auction.

“Hilco Industries Auctions - Stay away”

Magnhild N.
9/5/18

My company bought machines and equipment for about 7000EUR on an auction run by Hilco Industries last year. Almost all the machines with electric compenents in them were broken or damaged, and we could have gotten much more for our money if we had bought new tools. I will never buy used equipment again.

We sell gov't surplus online. Our company is approaching its first anniversary with Online Auction (OLA). We were very experienced with eBay, and tried OLA as an experiment to avoid the profit-killing sell fees and policies that eBay enforces. From our very first auction at OLA, we have been absolutely delighted with the quality of service, their responsiveness to issues, and high value they offer - at a much much lower cost than eBay. We're very happy, we're not going anywhere else, and hope you join us on the best auction site on the Net: www.onlineauction.com.

All of the pluses with none of the problems that sellers experience on eBay. OLA is growing by leaps and bounds in terms of both buyer and seller traffic as eBay's downward spiral continues. One of the fastest growing online ecommerce sites, ideal for sellers of all sizes, including small "mom and pop" sellers that eBay is systematically eliminating.

OnlineAuction.com is THE place to sell! I run my business MY way, I am not censored, there are just a few common sense rules to follow. I don't have to figure what my final value/listing fees when setting prices because there aren't any! One fee $96.00 a YEAR does it all! And that will never go up on me! I have plenty of people who help when needed and a live Customer Service person! If I have a personal website, I can add my link in my listings! OLA is growing and here to stay! And I will be right there with them!

I've been both a seller and buyer at onlineauction.com for years. You can't beat the fees ($8 a month... no final value fees or anything like that). The staff is great! And I've never had an issue with purchases. There are a lot of great sellers and buyers here and getting bigger and better all the time. The owners aren't greedy and customer service is actually live people who want to make the experience the best you've ever had. The company does not bog you down with rules you can't, or barely can, live with. You run your listings/store your own way. Like I said, I've been here many years and I plan to stay for many more!

I recently transferred from eBay and I am satisfied with the site. I like the ability to list as many items as I want for only $8 a month and no final value fees. Their customer support is great. I hope to grow my business with them.

Sellers can use OLA as a sales tool without interference. They don't tell us when or how to ship, what type of payments we can or cannot use, or what links are allowed or not allowed in our listings. This is truly a free enterprise venue.

This site is amazing and so different than the others. You are literally the store owner. You make your own decisions. Your business lives or dies depending on your own work ethics. Anyone who doesn't succeed has only themselves to blame. If you want a site to run your business, if you want to operate under the thumb of a site and all their rules, then OnlineAuction.com isn't for you. If you want to run your own business, set your own rules and policies, if you honestly want to run your own business without overhead or big brother breathing down your neck... if you're willing to do the work for your business, you will succeed at OnlineAuction.com. You can't truly be in charge of your own destiny if big brother runs your business, over rides your policies, tells you how much to charge, when to mail, what your prices can be, etc. So Be In Charge Of Your Own Destiny At OnlineAuction.com! You deserve better than you're getting elsewhere!

For those looking for a place to sell that doesn't have a ton of rules and requirements, and only costs $8.00 per month with no associated fees to worry about, Online Auction is the place. I love the look and the feel of the site, and the people are so nice and helpful; the other seller members are always happy to help each other out too. I like the low cost, and always know what I will be paying for my subscription to the site.
OLA was declared silver winner for best internet auction site in this years TopTen Reviews for 2014. See review: http://online-auction-sites.toptenreviews.com/onlineauction-com-review.html
Give this site a shot, as it will be the go to site in the near future; in my personal opinion.

Bid on a mans watch as per discription, turns out its a womens watch. They are trying to pass this tiny watch off as a mans watch. So 700 Euros later and absolute intransigence from customer service I have been told in essence "too bad"

I've been selling on ebay for 5 years. I tried OLA for one year, and sold 1 item. I sell
40 items per month on ebay. The traffic is virtually non-existent. Their plan for marketing is, "tell your friends." The fees may be very low, and there may not be many rules, but I also find myself going into my account to delete many pages or merchandise I manage to sell on ebay that just sat there on OLA. Don't waste your time. The owners and managers troll every page trying to save and jumpstart their image; but it's just sad.

STAY AWAY! How deceiving! I was wanting to get out and away from eBay with all their non-so-appealing drama, and with all their rising fees, and blocking sellers off their search engines; not good. So I found this company. I called. I talked with a nice man whom I had asked for him to explain to me this company. It's not free to list to sell, only to buy. He told me that for $8 a month, I could list my wares and for $98 a year everything would be upgraded (no limitations), and I could cancel anytime that I wanted to if I wasn't happy. That got me excited, so I paid the $98 fee. And then the fun came. So terrible to list; very hard, and too many steps involved in listing, not to mention the long aggravating wait in downloading your photos. So I had to call and get help in trying to figure out what to do, then to be told: I needed to do this and that, and download this and that. Unbelievable! And to go onto Twitter to list your items for those who may take an interest in wanting. Really? It took me weeks to complete, and even at that, I didn't know that I had to complete additional steps in order for my wares to show up as being for sale. So I tried this for 3 or 4 months with nothing. So I went online to cancel and marked this, thinking that I would be getting an adjustment back on the $98 that I had paid out, and nothing showed up. So I finally called and was told by the same man who told me that I could cancel at anytime, that it was only for a week and that he was SORRY but there was no refund. I stated to him that he was the one who had told me that I could cancel if I didn't like it, and he said yes, after "so many days," in which I replied "you never told me that. You only said that I could cancel anytime I wanted. "Oh, no, I would had never said that," he replied. And I explained the reason why I had waited so long, was the fact that I never, after 3 months received any sales, which was an indication to me that nothing was going to sell, especially since I had listed over 200 items for Christmas.

BOTTOM LINE HERE IS: This site doesn't promote your wares, you're the one who has to do the leg work; they are deceiving you into believing that you pay your $8 a month or your $98 a year fee and you never have any additional fees with them (they don't operate that way, as they will never abide by their own rules in giving you back your refund; and it's your responsibility in dealing with irate buyers should they be dissatisfied with your wares in which they had purchased, as they do not get involved. But then again, neither does eBay. However, you can at least open a dispute, this company you can't.) Basically, this is a holding ground of ones wares in which to sell, and no more. I'm very disappointed and had hoped for the best in this company, and once again, a total let down in supporting their sellers. DON'T BE MISLEAD. EITHER STAY WITH EBAY, OR GO WITH ETSY FOR YOUR HOMEMADE ITEMS, OR LIST ELSEWHERE, BUT DON'T USE THIS NON UPFRONT COMPANY.

I am a frequent purchaser of cycling gear, I ordered 6 winter thermal cycling sets from the seller RINGWISE and had no problem at all. To make sure I was not scammed I initially ordered the 1st set which arrived in due time, I then order 2 more sets which also arrived in time and have carried on ordering since, this seller sends you photos of the parcels as well as the tracking information as soon as the items are paid for. From my experience I can recommend this seller. V. Fernandes (Portugal)
