McGivern Diamonds was highly recommended to me by a friend in graduate school when I was looking for an engagement setting and stone. Could not have been happier with the service, quality, and communication. Shopping for something so important online without going to a brick and mortar is a bit scary but Michael McGivern helped me every step of the way. He custom designed a setting I saw in a jewelry store and liked, however, he did this by only seeing pictures! I'm a picky shopper and went through many different stones before deciding on one. I felt the service and communication far exceeded anything I've found in a local jewelry store. Highly recommend!

My purchase history goes back to 14 years ago when I bought a diamond engagement ring from Mike in 2004. Since then I purchased a diamond pendant, a diamond band, and a new setting of my engagement ring from him. All my transactions were so smooth, prompt, informative, and professional. I was truly thankful that I just happened to find him by searching on-line. Many people find it difficult to order on-line when it comes to such a high priced jewelry, especially diamond products. I would like to thank McGivern Diamonds for providing such a great service. I found McGivern Diamonds online and was skeptical about buying online without seeing the diamond in person. After doing some research at local jewelry stores I had a idea of price, size, color, cut and all that good stuff. Being skeptical I called Michael five times before I purchased and he was by far the most helpful of all the jewelers I spoke with, never rushing me off the phone. He thoroughly explained the difference between GIA and EGL ratings. When I finally decided on the perfect diamond that fit my price and quality criteria I called McGiverns and spoke to Michael. I gave him the stock number and he informed me it was sold, he said he would look for a similar stone and give me a call back. I thought here comes the bait and switch. 15 minutes later Michael called me back and said he had found a comparable diamond that he would give me for the same price. I asked for the stock number and looked it up on his web site, to my surprise it was priced 1100$ higher and was better quality. I quickly called back and said I would take it. I was going the Vegas 8 days later to propose and asked if I could have the ring set and sent by the end of the week. I purchased on a Sat and the ring arrived on the following Friday just as Michael said it would. This being a special time in our lives we couldn't be happier with our diamond and with the quality service McGivern provided. Don't hesitate to use McGivern Diamomds.

McGivern Diamonds is a direct diamond importer. Several times a year we travel overseas, primarily to Tel Aviv, Israel, to buy direct from the cutters. By importing directly, and in large quantities, we are able to buy our diamonds for substantially less, and thus can pass along the savings. When you deal with us, you are not only dealing with a diamond importer, but a gemologist and manufacturer as well. We have two full time gemologists (GIA) on staff, so you assured of dealing with a knowledgeable staff. We also do complete manufacturing at our Perrysburg location. We sell chains, bracelets, and earrings as well as a full line of gemstone jewelry including emerald, ruby, sapphire, amethyst, garnet, topaz, opal and many more. GIA Certified diamonds however, remain our specialty. We have a large selection of loose diamonds from. 10 ct. To over 5 cts. We also have many engagement rings and other settings to accommodate these diamonds. Other diamond jewelry we offer includes anniversary rings, tennis bracelets, earrings, pendants, slides and about anything else you can imagine.
