Its a total scam. I tried using their service by spending $1.00 for a 'free' background check. They returned the dollar shortly after. I did not sign up or agree to anything. They started taking unauthorized money from my Paypal account a few days later, claiming I have used my credit card for their service at all weird hours of the night.In the paypal receipt I received, it stated that it might state something other than phone agents when the transaction was completed. I caught on right away, and the transaction was cancelled, however if it was a different credit card used who knows how much money would have been taken.

They grab your money and run. It doesn't do any good to cancel. Don't give your credit card number!

Here is some info I found on this rip off company that might help everyone: Although different addresses, same phone number. So now you can contact the Better Business Bureau Utah and Texas. I also contacted my Credit Card company to stop all and any future charges.

You say this is a free site to look up scam artists, and then you get ready to look up a number and you ask for a dollar. I know it's just a dollar but why say it's free? You're no better then the scam artist's themselves. This is a bull$#*! site and giving you a dollar shouldn't be a reason to get accurate information when you represent yourself falsely.

If they did you wrong and ripped you off and you used a credit or debut card, take your loses and learn from your mistake buy cancelling you credit card, or debit card and having new cards and numbers issued to you so they will not be able to get any of your money ever again! If you agree let me know! And buy all means tell all your friends.

What a scam! They can't find records for a person that is incarcerated! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, it's a waste of money. They never contact you and then say no records exist. CRAP!

This site is a scam. I had to cancel my card immediately. When I called pas.com they said I had to verify my account by giving them info they had no need for in order to cancel. When I wouldn't give the more private info they said They couldn't help me... I called my bank within a few minutes and they had run a charge already.
My bank told me to cancel the card (which I did) and to watch my account closely for 72 hours, which is an open transaction period and they can add charges during that time period. After that you can file a charge dispute. Too much time and effort

I thought it provided helpful information. It did not provide the information I was hoping to find. According to the initial information it was supposed to be a 7-day free trial. They charged me $1.00 for the "search"--I know a $1.00 fee may not seem like much, but how many customers have they charged $1.00? The fee adds up! Contacted their chat site to cancel. Pamela, the customer service rep., sent what seemed a standard set of instructions to cancel. Instructions are as follows: "You must log into your account after 48 hours and confirm your cancellation by following the instructions that will appear in a red outlined box at the top of the page. Your account will not be cancelled until you take this final step." I went to my credit card provider--they verified a $1.00 charge to my account. I cancelled my credit card at that time.

This is what I was told and I recieved nothing from them. I just hope to get my money back
