Dr. Marc Mani is a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, California, and is Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Marc Mani completely botched my nose. Worst decision of my life. I was 19 at the time. He caused me issues I did not have naturally. Before the surgery, my breathing was good - the only issue was that the bridge was wide, and I thought undergoing surgery to narrow it would enhance my face. I just asked for a narrower bridge and smaller nose during the consultation. He did NOTHING that he said he would do during the consultation. He CAUSED me a deviated septum that I never had before - my nose swooped to the right and when I smiled it swooped even more. He CAUSED me a bump in the bridge of my nose, which caused my nose to look humpy and LARGER than before surgery. He CAUSED me an extremely pointy tip that looked abnormal and caused me a lot of nasal projection - both my front and side profiles were worse than before the surgery. He CAUSED me breathing issues - I had very large lumps of cartilage inside my nostrils and which obstructed my breathing. My nose was constantly red (with the tip being white) - completely discolored compared to the rest of my face - because of the very stretched skin and internal blood issues in my nose as a result of the surgery with Dr. Marc Mani. An ENT surgeon actually advised me that the blood flow to my nose was obstructed as a result of the stretched skin and other internal issues. None of these issues were from swelling because these issues stayed 1.5 years after the surgery. The nose actually became worse and started collapsing and drooping overtime because of the internal issues and trauma he caused to the bone structure of my nose. When I sent him pictures and described the issues, he was very dismissive, rude, and stopped replying when I sent him a second email. I stopped trying to reach him because I knew I did not want Dr. Marc Mani to touch my nose again, so I got help from other surgeons. The nose is the center of the face and I felt horrible. It was not just bad aesthetically - my health was negatively impacted. I got two revision septorhinoplasties because of all the issues he caused me - the revision surgeries were very complex and risky. My nose is in a better condition now because of the revisions - but what he did to me was horrible. I was truly traumatized mentally and physically as a result of the surgery with Dr. Marc Mani. I am now feeling OK after two revision rhinoplasties and tens of thousands of dollars spent to fix all the issues he caused to my nose. I want to warn people about how horrible Marc Mani is. I hope that anyone reading this who is considering undergoing surgery with him consider my review and do it with another surgeon. There is a high chance he will not give you the results you want/make your situation significantly worse.
