Awesome company. I purchased a heated motorcycle jacket 3 years ago and it is still working like new, keeping me nice and warm when the weather is cold!
Cancelled direct debit as I no longer needed cover Within a day received two chase up e mails and today received a call from collections dept threatening me with debt collectors. The £3.98 yes £3.98 isn't due til 27th and now they want to charge me 6 months cancellation fee! Avoid like the plague Awful reviews wherever I look. Go with anybody else but them

Absolutely dreadful customer service and engineers.My combo boiler broke, so no hot water or heating in December/Januuary.After 27 hours, the reply I got was they claimed the cost of the replacement part exceeded £180+VAT and refused to fix my boiler citing 'Economic Disrepair' I had to chase and chase and chase to know what was going on and I am recovering from PROSTATE CANCER treatment but that made no difference.Do not waste your money-useless, and always trying to get out of paying up.I am now with British Gas whose customer service operators and engineers are a world of improvement on the Plus Heat COWBOYS.
Be very careful, as you will regret using them. Lost payments threaten with debt collectors. I came from BG because they were cheaper, I should had paid the extra.
I had the misfortune to had taken plusheat for my insurance, how wrong I was. They are a nasty rude company. I feel They use a well known company to increase feedback. Some people leave many positive feedback. Think and check before you buy.
Customer service and response times are truly shocking
Engineers are incompetent.
Small print all over the place that means they'll try to avoid any fixes. Made our situation worse. Spent 4 months trying to resolve a hot water issue. Avoid at all costs. Please avoid. Its just not worth it.
The contract is set up so that they are not regulated by the FCA and it is impossible to make a complaint. There was a £300 limit on the value of the boiler repair and whilst the local plumber said that it would cost £150, their plumber priced it at over £500 (incl the £100 call out charge). It is effectively a scam as has been reported to Trading Standards.
Total rubbish call after call left us now nearly 48 hours no central heating or hot water all I get is call back tomorrow and this is premium package we pay for shocking service
I am very disappointed with service. The company staffs are NOT reading my complaint emails and promises are honoured. Engineers are NOT competent and caused more work. Boiler service caused damaged to my washing machine and they are not willing to fix it. I NEVER got the certificate for the boiler service. I had to call corgi Plummer fix the radiators. I contacted Plusheat 16 times and sent an email but to no avail. Now I have to go through to my credit card company to get money back.
I would highly recommend NOT using this company for any type of cover!
Firstly, I have been paying for over a year, for a policy which was misstated. I only just found out that I'm on an emergency only policy, which has NEVER been stated in any correspondence, including my renewal notice.
I found out at this time that they had invoiced me £50, for a job which never went ahead, in June! Luckily I disputed this charge rather than just pay.
I called to request an engineer, as the temperature dial for my heating had broken. I still classed this as an emergency as I could not turn up heating, so was left in a freezing cold house with a disabled husband and my daughter. I was informed that they would only attend if my water or boiler was completely off! They did offer to send an engineer to write a report for a £79 fee!
This company are a bunch of cowboys and the customer service is ridiculous.
I would recommend anyone considering taking cover to look very closely at the small print, although the small print I received, did not include any of the information I required or should have had.
I called out plus heat because I had a problem with my boiler the engineer arrived just look at my boiler saying my boiler needs to be flush out my cover don't cover policy so I have to pay to my boiler to ge flush out I ask plusheat to get me a quote how much it will cost me to flush my heating system out because the insurance company don't cover my boiler.the quote I got back for £1300 when I did my investigation to get other quotes it was much less then plus heat.plusheat are just a con and wouldn't recommend any taking out form of policy with yhat company
