“Toxic people want all the support for themselves.”

This board is full of mentally ill people. I know... you are like "duh" but that means you cannot speak about anything without one or two crazy people going after you. For no apparent reason. There is also a terrible cool girl club. You better agree with them or they will complain to the moderators and you will be accused of bad behavior. Moderators will not get involved. Long term members will win. The number of posts are way down. I only hung on because the actual site is pretty good. But don't come here for support. You won't get any.

I wrote a message thanking those who supported me and said goodbye. I don't know what guideline and reached by saying goodbye to people but they took it down. So there you go for support. Maybe because they've lost so many people and they don't want to encourage more?

Members are very toxic here, rude, caustic and argumentative. Many seem to come onto forum boards and threads simply to cause an uproar and argument. I was verbally abused by one of the moderators, who attacked me verbally for no good reason. I became "friends" with a few members, only to be back-stabbed and turned on. Sure, it's a site full of members who have mental health problems, many of which are personality disordered people who do not know the meaning of respect or kindness. It is not a support site -- it's a site to argue online with other mentally and emotionally impaired CHILDREN. I stayed for a while, hoping it would change or improve, but it only just became worse, & the good members all left. Rudeness is rampant. DO NOT JOIN.

I was a member of this site for a few years. The only times I got into any so-called trouble with moderators was when I had to defend myself against some toxic member's rudeness or attacks, which occur very frequently on this site. It is well-known among the community that rudeness is rampant. Then, somehow, I got in trouble simply because I defended myself. This site is full of toxic members who are very loosely moderated. Support? Respect? What's the meaning of support and respect? The members on this site do NOT know the meaning of either one of these words, including several of the moderators who are also abusive and toxic. I had a horrible experience there, and it actually made my mental health far worse! EVERY thread I created, there was always one or two bad apples who came on simply to be rude or argumentative with me. And I'm like one of the nicest people in the world, who wouldn't hurt a fly. DocJon, the site owner, does nothing to help - the site is far too large, with not enough close moderation. It should really just be shut down. DO NOT JOIN THIS SITE. There are far better mental health forums out there. My advice: AVOID AVOID AVOID.
