“Well I don't know anybody who would want to go to this...”

Well I don't know anybody who would want to go to this site, but it beats standing in lines and dealing with city, county, whatever hassle to pay a ticket. In fact I just contested a parking ticket using pticket.com. The site is very simple to use. You find your state and city or county then enter citation number and all the information is there for you to review. Then you can either pay your ticket, ask for an extension, or contest it. I was able to write a letter to contest the parking ticket I received and the city placed my ticket on hold until they reviewed my documents. A couple of weeks later I checked the site and they gave me a minimized fine to pay. I'm not saying your going to beat a ticket by using this site but at least you can do it without dealing with the clerks office downtown where ever. The only down side at all is the $3 they charge to process your ticket. I would use that much in gas to drive to the court house. I'm not happy about a parking ticket but happy to have this site as an option.

“No one answers the phone”

I decided to do this review while still waiting for someone to answer the contact number provided on the website. Notice in my screenshot that it is definitely during normal business hours I've been holding for over 25 minutes. It is completely silent. I don't have an estimated wait time. No robot telling me anything. Just sitting in complete silence for over half an hour now with the call time steadily increasing.

Got a parking ticket in Newport Beach at a meter that I paid for via Parkmobile. Followed the procedure on the ticket to contest and mailed materials to the address they show on the ticket. The FAQs indicated a decision would not be made for at least 4 weeks - so after 4 weeks I called their number (took literally a week of trying to get to an actual person) and she said they never received my contested info and, not that 21 days have passed, I'm ineligible to appeal the ticket, per DMV rules. Nice scam, PTicket - I wonder how many appeals end up in their trash can so they can say they never received it! Moral of the story, contest online or if you have to send stuff, send Certified with Return Receipt.

They are absolutely terrible. I know they aren't the one issuing tickets, that's a separate thing, they are terrible at what they do. They cannot process payments well. I submitted a payment online and received a message an error occurred and to try again. So I did it over the phone, well, turns out both payments went through. You call customer service and ask them to compare confirmation numbers, they don't have them, you ask for your confirmation for a payment they show as posted, they don't have them. When you ask to reconcile between any of these pieces of information, they cannot. If something goes wrong, you have to take a photo copy of your bank statement and mail to them and ask for your money back with a letter, not much chance of that working out. There is no supervisor available to speak. There is no one that cares to be professional. No path to find resolution to payment processing.

I logged on to pay for my ticket. A few weeks later I got a letter that said I needed to pay for my ticket. On top of that I given $55.00 in late fees. Mind you I got the ticket a month ago and I paid online. I never got any information saying my transaction did not go through. I checked with my bank and they said the transaction never occurred. I tried to negotiate with them and there was proof I logged on that day to pay my ticket. Right away they denied my request and said I had to pay the new amount. This penalties are excessive and that website does not work all the time. Beware of this site and send you tickets in person or through the mail. Don't let this happen to you.

I have had handicap parking placards for 7 years even though they are marked with a large 2017 they expire on June 30. DMV normaly sends a new placard before the current one expires. For some unknown reason DMV sent my placard to some address that does not exist. July COMES PTICKET writes me up, I call DMV they find the address problem and it takes another 3 weeks to get an appointment to fix it. PTICKET sends no communication to me until after the option to appeal the ticket has expired and just before an additional $110 fine is added. I call them to explain the problem and the lady would only repeat over and over that I need to pay the ticket. In the past others would show proof that they had the right to park there and the picket was reduced from $365 to $25. I explained that this was not the spirit of the law and I had every right to be there, I believe she had quit listening by then and just kept repeating herself. So $489 later I tried to move on until I get a letter I will recieve an aditional fine and be sent to collections.

Its always nice dealing with a company that has no problem targeting the handicap community.
