After trying other similar sites I personally found PP to have the edge being user friendly and friendly models of all levels

Not sure how or why, but I created an account to start taking my photography and post photo editing hobby a bit more seriously. And I find after a couple of weeks away I am banned as I am a fake account? Tried to resolve it and find it is absolute... despite going through their induction verification, they deemed me a fake... I see now what other reviews are saying, they have their favourites and unless you are female and prepared to be naked, they dont want you. Avoid at all costs!

A well designed ship with a dysfunctional captain and crew.
They taint the site with personal involvement very much like all the popular failed modelling sites before them. I was a member in the early days... I eventually called the owner a C... for not only buying a competitors. Com domain name but also my. Com after I left the site in a bad cloud. Yes they routed it to purpleport as a joke I presume. There's a nasty core in pp full of favouritism and sexual impropriety with models that goes right to the top and ridding of perfectly respectable photographers with cheap gossip. It's there way or the highway... let's all hope they hit that iceberg real soon.

I opened an account hoping to show off my photography and recruit models. I uploaded small images to get a feel for this site. Within days they closed my account with a message stating that my images do not meet the minimum guidelines of dimensions. What a sham. I am an amateur photographer with some schooling and can safely say this place is to be avoided.

I find this good networking site with the forums, competitions etc.

I've not had any issues with models and simply select based on references.
As I'm just starting out I've not had any issues people on the site readily give advice if requested, If you don't like NSFW just leave filters on. I've never turned them off as I just want to normal type shoots.

From what I see if people get banned generally they've posted or done something wrong such as pushed levels.

Regards
Steve

I have been a Purple Port member for six years, as designerphotography.
It is an excellent site with great photographers and good models. Because of its excellent reputation the site has grown considerably over the years, so occasionally you might find someone masquerading as someone they are not. However, admin do a brilliant job weeding these non desirable's out.
The site has a lot of functions and analytics so you need to take time to get to know how the site works and would always recommend a newcomer gets advice on how to make the site work for them.
One of the most important aspects of the site is its peer review system allowing you to see the reviews left for photographers or models by others on the site who have already worked with them.
Highly recommended

If you register, they first spam your email, and then if you bother starting using their site they will ban you for no reason at all. A bit waste of time.

At first I was dubious about a company like this, that had models/photographers/muas/etc meeting after the warning of don't meet strangers off the internet' from my parents, but Purpleport have done something fantastic here, bringing together likeminded, creative individuals to make some amazing pieces of art. I am completely satisfied and happy with the safety that this company has brought in to protect everyone, with all their articles on how to keep safe, and showing references on pages! Recently bought my VIP membership and can't wait to expand my portfolio more and work with even more great people!

PurplePort is a great alternative to expensive webcam sex sites. Many of the models offer remote nude photo shoots for as little as £10 for an hour. It is of course, artistic.

I use both PP and Model Mayhem. If anything PP is easier to use and I certainly get many requests for photoshoots. It is mainly UK and Europe based so might not particularly suit US based people. I am based in UK and Asia and get most shoots in UK through PP and MM for Asia. Very useful for me.

Lies, overpaid amateur models with no contract of works, faked professional models paid in cash to hide the hobby of rich pensioners to their wives thanks to purpleport.
This sort ofcwebsoted should be shut down for respect of taxpayers andpeople paid fairly in the modeling industry

Lies arrived up to trustpilot

After hastily signing up I went back and read the reviews, then proceeded to cancel my pending approval. I deleted my images and received an almost immediate email stating I didn't have an images uploaded. I commented that I wish to withdraw my application. Received another email "sorry to see you go". Then came the third email:

We're sorry to say that your application to join PurplePort.com was rejected.

Your images and your account have been deleted from our systems.

You can apply again at any time. It's likely that your application was rejected for one or more of the following reasons:

Not good enough portfolio notes.
Images that were too small or of too low quality to be useful.
Images that were inappropriate for PurplePort.com.

I withdrew because of the negative reviews and feedback I was getting about them. As I stated, a joke.

I used the site regularly for years, but was recently banned when casting for models the same way I'd always done. They allow you to ask for NSFW shoots and Adult but then ban you when you say the shoot would incorporate an adult theme.

I used PurplePort as a means to gain some portfolio images, but, it's image has been tarnished by certain individuals, and the fact that, after my request, that an offensive article won't be removed, because it wasn't deemed offensive. Maybe not by those not of that minority group, but certainly the abusive language following up as multiple members found a means to vent their anger at this particular minority group.

The article, was mean't as an April Fools joke, but if very, very bad taste, mocking a particular religion. Further posts by the original auther, and others who commented, grew more and more foul in their language used.
Despite my efforts by writing a comment to end the article, it was met by hostility. Told by the author not to question their freedom of speech and that I've no right to comment.

Here's my comment;
"Can we please have respect and end this article.
April the 1st was two days ago now"

Of course, I reported this to the website admin, but they couldn't find fault with the article, despite me stating how prejudice the article was and how such an inclusive industry as performing arts can allow this.

I since wrote an article myself, not against the offending article, nor it's author directly, but demonstrating how we, in the 21st centry, have been working hard at tolerance to others, no matter their gender, ethnicity, language, disability and religion/belief.
This article was locked, because "it was a statement".
So you see, there still are intolerances, but anyone who questions it will be given a hard time and the offender is let off. And this is a repeated story.
How can society change for the better?

PurplePort is the first place I go to look for models and studios to suit my projects.
Some of the best in the business are here.
People post events and tours regularly which is great for finding new people to work with too.

I was on purpleport a few years and met arrogant people who get job thanks to their lies. Pensioners on purpleport can advertise themselves like the new helmut newton and housewives working naked in their bedroom can advertise themselves like the new sofia loren asking up to £300 a day! Payments in cash and no contracts of work thanks to the casting advertised on the website. Nobody there tells people to fill their tax debts with the governmemt and young girls are encouraged to travel abroad or work naked with no safety advices with these old men never met before. The admins are going around, (receiving favours from the owner of the website for that), sharing lies include 4 stars feedback on trustpilot. If a model has a problem with someone who is in the grace of the owner and his gang, usually does not share it otherwise she is treatened to be banned. People think thanks to purpleport they can become famous but in reality can ruin their career. Purpleport is a platform who ruins people most of the time encouraging prostitution, easy earning compared to normal and respectful jobs, tax evasion and lies. It exhists because based in England. In any other country would have been banned

I left this site, agast, as the site moderators allowed for members to display their hatred towards a certain religious group. This clearly demonstrated a double standard view and totally contradictory to accepted values we all should hold, tolerance to all.
I could state more on other negative aspects of the site, however, this has already been mentioned by other reviews.

Had high hopes for joing this site, its not something Ive done very much of but am keen to do, amateur photography with models etc.
I 'applied'which consisted of sending 4 photos and ticking a few boxes.
Application rejected within 24 hours.
Innocuous photos of things round the house.
Hmm
Applied again as allowed, this time accompanied by 4 very high quality glam photos
That ticked a few NSFW boxes and were declared to be such, thinking this was maybe more their bag. I KNOW these shoots were good they cost around 4oo pounds time and are totally unique using professional paid models.
Rejected again.
No explanation.
Theres no pleasing.
Only other time Ive dipped a toe in this scene was some Models Organisation Union
Run by a woman, and boy rolls eyes they were difficult to work with too.
