“Brilliant!”

I love Quidco & never buy anything online now without going through their site first. I've only been using them since the beginning of 2015 but my cashback is slowly building up. Even if you only get £1 or so on your purchase, it soon adds up so worth it. Never had any issues with them, only wish I'd started using them sooner!

“Quidco not paying out on insurance policies”

Christopher L.
10/9/23

Quidco are not paying out on large cash back transactions, like motor insurance, I took out two policies this year through Quidco, all conditions met and neither of them as paid out. In fact Quidco removed one of the transactions from my activity account. I am sure they are just getting the sale with no intention of paying out. Just look at all of the online reviews of this scam being carried out. If you find yourself in the same situation of being ripped off, report it to BBC "Rip of Britain" they are looking into these complaints.

Unfortunately it is a scam site. They will ban you if you collect too much cash :/ I do not recommend!

Their customer services will just give you the runaround and just waste your time, probably spending most of their time writing spoof reviews. Been with them years and no longer getting the cashback especially the high amounts, I wonder where the money is going? A more suspicious person might think they are actually getting the cashback and not passing it on as with my £70 quid for signing up to broadband. I did not even get the money for introducing a friend, and their CS are not interested, or not allowed. I will be taking this up with the regulator.

Quidico bans account whether you like it or no, whether you did sth against their rules or not. So if you have a nice amount of 50 pounds cashback tracked, prepare to have your account closed with some laconic explanations.
Would not recommend the scammers!

I had an email from Quidco saying my cashback had been denied when I spent £10 of casino chips at Ladbrokes Casino online.

1. I took screenshots of my betting history and made sure it was all valid.
2. I contacted Ladbrokes, and they confirm my spend was valid and correct. I took screenshots of this email.

I contacted Quidco about this and Jess closed out my case stating: "Unfortunately they have declined your claim advising us that you didn't meet the terms and conditions of the offer.". I told Jess I wanted to speak to a supervisor but my request was ignored and my case closed. I told them I have screenshots of everything. This was ignored. Totally ignored! They just said: "As we will not be receiving the commission from the retailer, we are unable to pass this on to you as cashback.". This is totally irrelevant as I told Quidco I have a screenshot FROM THE RETAILER (Ladbrokes Casino) saying it was valid. So I feel Quidco are trying to rip me off here. What is going on!?!? What operation are you running here!? You are ignoring my screenshots, you are ignoring my evidence. You are just closing my cases out on me and won't let me speak to a supervisor. WHY?

I registered my account on Quidco, cause there was some sweet promo for creating Tidal account. Unfortunately, after collecting my data, my Quidco account was banned before receiving money.

I am unable to access my account, I have been for a while.
I completed my Virgin media set up through Quidco. I patiently waited for several months for the £180 cashback to become payable/withdrawable because I understand it can take a while as they cannot make it payable/withdrawable until they receive the payment from the company, in this case Virgin media.
The £180 finally became payable/withdrawable which means that they must have received their payment from Virgin media, as they themselves say, it cannot be payable/withdrawable until they receive the payment from the company.
As it was a decent amount, I requested a payout and they immediately blocked access to my account and said that they want proof of purchase from me.
Why would they need that🤔 as they obviously received the payment from Virgin media otherwise, as I previously mentioned, the cashback would not have progressed to payable/withdrawable status.
I no longer had the order confirmation email from Virgin media, it has been several months and I had actually given up on Quidco making the cashback payable/withdrawable by this point as it was well over the estimated timeframe, I am not sending them my bank statements, I don't send them to anyone after a family member was a victim of identity fraud by doing that. I shouldn't have even been asked for evidence anyway as it wasn't like Virgin media were disputing the purchase, in which case I would understand Quidco requesting some evidence.
They know that everything was completed as per the requirements of the offer. If the requirements weren't met, Virgin media wouldn't have paid them. I decided to use topcashback and since using them, I have always received my cashback. I've received over £1300 and have over £300 pending at present, Quidco wouldn't even honour £180. I won't be using Quidco again and will always recommend topcashback to my friends and family now. £180 is not exactly small change, let alone the principle of the whole situation.

I took out AA Breakdown cover where I would pay £40 and they would give me back £20. Of course there were much cheaper deals with other companies without the cashback but with the cashback quidco seems the cheapest. I made my Quidco account and checked it regularly, where it said my purchase and cashback was being tracked, but I couldn't collect it yet until the 22nd May which was two months away. I went back after the two months and now my cashback was declined instead of being tracked. I contacted AA but they said I could only collect through Quidco. They have stolen my £20 for nothing. NEVER TRUST QUIDCO. Don't even try them. Absolute FRAUD.

Firstly let me start by saying that Quidco used to be a good site. The process worked well and if you had a query, a dispute or a claim then the staff would deal with this efficiently and fairly. Recently however this level of service has disappeared. Im not sure of the reason but I get the impression that they may have outsourced their customer service or perhaps they have significantly lowered their recruitment standards. The quality of the service provided has dropped to a level where the Contact Us option on the webpage is hidden behind a number of generic help options that obviously never answer your question, clearly they dont want you to talk to their customer service staff! When you do eventually get given the opportunity to send an email the reply you receive will not only not answer your question but will also give the impression that your email has not even been read properly. Believe me Ive had some bizarre responses to some very straight forward questions.

The final straw came with a claim. Ive had to claim before but as I say this has always been an efficient process and Ive not previously had any issues. On this occasion my initial emails were either ignored or the reply was a generic response that did not address the issues that I had raised. My request to escalate the claim was also ignored and despite the fact that I had pointed out significant errors, Im being generous not to call them lies, in their emails this was also ignored, I even provided proof in the form of correspondence from the company that I had made the purchase from. Still a point blank refusal to engage in any meaningful dialogue.

It would seem that Quidco are not interested in retaining customers, providing a service or even abiding by their own terms and conditions so I have closed my account and moved my business to a competitors site (Top Cashback). Several months later and I have to say the difference worth it. If I could give them a zero rating I would.

I have been with Quidco a year now. Not all purchases track, so make sure you follow everything to the letter. If you file a complaint about a HIGH VALUE tracking that did not go through, like I did, they wait 2-3 months and then deny it claiming the merchants claims you did NOT purchase it. This is happening to me right now and I have contacted the company in which I made a £545 purchase from in October. They are investigating it themselves, separately because I have serious doubts that Quidco even contacted the merchant since its £81.75 cashback. Tracking in general takes forever (weeks to months) and when you complain, no one contacts you back or they lie and say they are waiting on the merchant to respond. I have very serious doubts they actually contact the merchants for anything. Hopefully, I WILL get my cashback and the merchant will prove to me they know nothing of my claim.

I got £590 available to payment, that means the companies already give the money to QUIDCO, and QUIDCO took his commission but still don't giving me my part!
I sending emails and messages they taking ages to answer and some times they don't answer.
They said I couldn't do it to help my friend trough my account but I told them I didn't know and I won't do it again. The intesting thing is WHY they didnt tell me it before. They just tell me after my money arrive to them. And know? They gonna give the money back to BT, etc.?
I don't know what else I can do to get my money from there.
After new year will try go to Citizen Adviser to help me.
Im so disappointed, I had other cash back web site that I could choice but I found QUIDCO was the best.: (
Please if someone know a way to process them let me know. THANK YOU.

Never buy anything on-line without going through Quidco! Since 2007 i have managed to get £776 cash back just by buying things i would normally. They quite often have great offers on like £60 cash back for a new phone contract etc. They are great for clicking through to get your car/house/pet insurance and you can quite often get some decent cash back for these things.
There is no pay up front charge for Quidco, they just take £5 from the earnings you make each year. If you don't make £5 then they won't take it, simple as that.
Payment is made to your bank every month.
Give it a try, it is really worth it!
