It is excellent, despite some small things that can always be improved. For example, their app each time requiring to sign in after going to background is a bit annoying. Also, accounts are tied to phone numbers, so when I was in another country with their own SIM, I was unable to access the account due to disabled roaming on my original SIM card. But, as for payment service, it is really good, reliable and with real time exchange rates.

Promise of 1 day transfers on app but CS state 5 days and I should have read the FAQ, because they state that over there, despite stating 1 day when making the transfer. Liars, unreliable, unprofessional! Avoid at all costs if you want to avoid frustrations. Not serious financial company - rather a sad attempt to become one.

The Proof of Business is complete BS. I cannot activate an account for a month now. I've provided all requested materials such as Bank Statement, Supplier Invoice, Invoiced issued by my company, Website Ownership, yet nothing is approved! The website is still under construction, so this cannot be accepted... Most ridiculous part is that OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT PROOF of REGISTRATION is not approved as valid proof. That's the most ridiculous service. I certainly don't recommend using their services!

Absolutely terrible. For no reason and with no notifications, they blocked my account. I couldn't pay bills or buy things. I contacted customer service repeatedly and waited 3 weeks for a reply. They said they were conducting security reviews and then a week later they've just terminated my account. WITH NO REASON. Keep away from them and don't waste your time or lose any of your money!

I'm Revolut client and my credit card was used by Fraud that I could prove them.
They have nothing to do about this claim. Following the European Consumer Organisation they should charge back if there is fraud.
On top the internal security is so poor that is it not difficult to use your card by fraud.
Avoid Revolut Bank absolutely.

I opened an account to use internationally, then when I traveled, I found there was no way to access my account at all, because it is designed to only work with the original smartphone account, which of course after moving to a different country with a different phone network no longer exists. Their website is a joke, just full of ads pushing you to give them more of your money. If you look carefully, you will see that it is very difficult to contact a real person as they have no listed offices or names of people with whom you can speak by telephone or in person anywhere. "About us" leads to more ads. "Contact" refers you back to the smartphone app, or a number with a bot; again no real people, no real responsibility. They list a way to send photos of things to identify yourself if you have problems accessing your account, but then simply refuse to respond in any helpful way when you send it, even to the original email address used with the account. There have been many complaints of persons losing money with Revolut, not only because of many scammers who have been able to get access to the accounts and steal the money in multiple ways, but from Revolut's own shady practices including unexpected and sudden high fees for various transactions. Compare this to legitimate banks with whom it is easy to contact a real, identifiable person by phone anywhere in the world, with offices in some cities, and a very detailed and full-featured online website to work with. Based on my experience and that of many, many others you can easily find online in many forums, I suspect that Revolut is probably an Estonian front organization for Russian or Estonian oligarchs or members of organized crime who are using it for money laundering or simply to skim what money they can from people at long distance who have no recourse. Please do not make the mistake I made. Do not trust them with any of your money. If you do, there is a good chance you will lose some or all of it.

Revolut Metal plan insurance is a SCAM!
Stay away and don't waste your money on it!
You will never receive a conditions you a paying for! It is a pure FRAUD!

I was purchasing my metal plan for the last 3 years, hoping to be protected by the insurance.
When I appeared in the insurance case situation and claimed it, they just ignored me.
I did not receive any information about my case for the last 5 weeks!
I contacted Revolut customer support and Allianz Global Assistance company many times and got only a re-assurance, but no actions.
They just want to make you tired of the endless calls and conversations to give up and let them still your money.
I saved all conversations and insurance claim confirmation, so I have a proof of every word I stated here.
Use my experience to avoid your own financial losses.
Stay away from the SCAM companies and don't waste your money on it!

When my 300 Euro ATM withdrawal chargeback was rejected in error, Revolut unilaterally closed my case and refused to help, despite the proof provided by the merchant clearly stating that the transaction was cancelled, the payment rejected and a ticket being printed from the ATM stating transaction cancelled. Revolut refused to appeal the rejection decision by VISA and refused to remove the charge from my card

Customer service is generic, nothing gets done outside their tiny job description. They will not address your issues with supervisors, nor escalate your good inputs to Executive management, as if we are not smart enough to make good suggestions. I started out paying nothing for a $1,000 dollar transfer, it then went to $2.50 per, the in 3 months to $5.00 per thousand. They charge me £7.85 for every other conversion from dollars to pounds and $16.99 a month for the card, raking in about 65 to 70 dollars a month from my use of the REVOLUT CARD. Now I can not use my REVOLUT card in certain places in Scotland because the business says, we no longer take that card. When I wrote to *******@revolut.com to address the issue with my suggestion that they address this with the business, they treated me, the PAYING CUSTOMER like an idiot, and were fake, or in a disingenuous
Fashion, condescending to me in a way that suggest they COULD CARE LESS ABOUT MY CONCERNS. Official reaction - Revolut - not recommended. They are DOA. This is my experience. This is my opinion. I have been using Revolut for over 2 years.

If the fees continue to escalate sharply as they have done, I will go from paying $70.00 per month for a Card or service that treats me like an idiot and they will price themselves out of the publics good will. They need to take our complaints serious and address them with upper management, i.e. Executive management and find out why certain people in Scotland are not allowing us to use their app, i.e., Revolut. This also affects everyone.

Avoid using Revolut at all costs!

They advertise as being a crypto friendly bank, but whilst making a small transfer of £2000 to the reputable, well established, crypto exchange Kraken, my account was restricted.

I searched the Internet for a phone number to contact Revolut, and there are no phone numbers available that lead to speaking with a human! So I contacted them via App Support where I spent literally 4 hours being pushed around various departments, communicating with 6 different people, jumping through all kinds of hoops, only to have no resolution at the end of if all! I still have no access to my own money.

Furthermore whilst on App Support with Revolut I received a discerning, assume fraudulent phone call, asking me to transfer all the money I held in my Revolut account to cover a Visa payment that I'd not made!

Revolut's customer service is terrible and I believe the whole company to be a scam.

Genuinely believe Revolut to be fraudulent.

Revolut simply stole my money. Closed my account without explanation. Hence no access to online customer service. No telephone number to call. Hence no one to talk too. How the regulator and the government can let these crooks still operate is beyond my comprehension.

Avoid Revolut at all costs.

Although Revolut offers benefits their cards are completely insecure and open to fraud be very careful using them and when money is stolen from your account they are absolutely dreadful to deal with, stick with your regular secure and well protected bank cards avoid Revolut at all costs and don't wait for your money to be stolen as the company will provide absolutely no support

In general I liked Revolut. I sometimes use their B2C service, and was happy with it - so I tried Revolut Business!

I have tried to open an account for three different regular German companies. The opening process took 7+ weeks, they asked for various kinds of documents (those were brand new companies, so no history at all), finally denied the opening of one account and randomly closed another account. Nobody answers your questions, only the same answers over and over again from a customer service robot.

This is nowhere near their promise to be a modern bank. Every "old school" bank would have opened the account in days.

In Europe, there are so many competitors like Holvi, Penta, N26 etc. - use one of them, but NEVER NEVER use Revolut Business. They'll screw you and randomly close your account without warning.

Expensive pricing expecting some good service. This is not the case with Revolut. Service is the worst ever, it may need you a full month of writing them, maybe some body would revert, however not sure solve the problem. You'll mainly be blocked without even they request you to submit one single document taking your money their hostage. It could be their policy to finance their operations. Better keep away, they might turn the next wirecard anytime. Be sure your high street bank is way better than those people, I've been fooled, thousands been fooled till now, You try to avoid. Don't be be impressed by good reviews especially those on Trust Pilot. Revolut are paying even for fake good reviews.

I trusted CEO of Revolut with 25 euro in 2015. Bad decision
Nikolay Storonsky sent me letters himself in 2015 and I trusted him with 25 euro.
Only one transaction in history - Revolut received 25 euro from my personal card in 2015.
In 2021 I asked to pay me back 25 euro to my private account.
No chance to receive the money. They are lying that the transfer is done but they do not send it back to me. I still see this 25 euro in Revolut application.

Revolut are scamers! I got two accounts, one personal and one business, personal one they blocked after one transaction and when i asked for what they just answer "we don't have to tell you" and another one business they taking money for registration then after you need to work they disable some functions and holding my money and siply ignoring, and again i ask they FOR WHAT and again answer is "we don't have to tell you" so dont registration on that scamer online banking! And do not do any cooperate with them! Very poor support, one answer in 30-40 minutes

Revolut Bank is engaged in fraud, blocks for no reason and creates conditions for the difficult withdrawal of its funds with maximum commissions. This is how they rip off the customers. It is better not to use the services of this bank or you will lose part of your savings!

I would not recommend to use Revolut at all, because it's absolutely unclear service and terrible customer support.
1. If you bought upper plan with necessary services, you calculated cost and profit for this plan, relax, all options of this plan can be changed any time. You never get your profit.
2. If you have serious issue, you never got resolution. They can only reply by a chat and you never know what you are speaking with. I spent 7 days chatting with different people who appeared in the same chat and asked me the same questions and finally escalated my case. I was exhausted to explain the same things 5 times, and my chat is still open and I still did not get answer. I do not even know how much time else I should spend.
I just needed to transfer my trading positions to another broker, as my husband and some other my acquaintances did. However, I was not able to do it and Revolut support teams cannot advised anything, they just redirected me from account support team to trading support team and back and each of them know only part of the issue, but no one can resolve whole issue.
It's a shame.

Revolut requested me to verify my identity, after i have been asked to change the app pin and for this purpose to submit a selfie. It worked. I then proceeded to comply with their requirement, plus my pass, as the former had expired. Within one minute my account was blocked with a huge banner saying revolut cannot offer me the services. And there s where the tango with this shady company starts.

I inquire the customer service for days and days, each and every of the agents was giving weird explanations, basically everything, e.g. we have a problem with the app, it takes longer to prove, the sun is shining or not, whatever. And then suddenly, as I still had access to the payments made, though nothing else, I notice my balance dropped, keep on mind, while I was not able to make any payment, though no payment was registered. I add this to the conversation and this is where it went crazy, as revolut was literally bull$#*!ting me how this payment was pending for a long time, that is was reverted and then booked again. Bull$#*!. What these guys did was obviously to book the amount once I made a payment, and of course making the amount disappear from the valance, and then when the merchant was requesting revolut the money, revolut would book again the amount. On the other hand, the payment statement you can download as pdf/excell, does NOT represent the reality, as many transactions, I realised on this occasion, are missing. As I claimed this and asked for clarifications, my access to the payments in the app has been restricted, and despite my attempts, never restored under all kind of time saving excuses.

Does this smell like fraud? Well. Next time when you consider using services offered by Russian oligarch's descendents, think twice. A company cannot be SO successful, basically practicing almost no fees, unless there's some shady activity in the background. As I tried to make this public, I realised how difficult it is, whereas the reviews are astonishing good - what an amazing product, right? (All my conversations with Revolut have been accordingly documented)

It's become one of the useless application what you are making now is completely foolish they make some quality review what is over then 3-weeks blocking they count and you cannot make any transaction or received or send you cannot touch your money inside the account it's really something respect for the clients

Everything was great until I've been asked to prove my source of funds. Since I sent them my documents, no one has responded me yet. I chatted with a live Agent and that agent sent me to another agent, now I'm stuck because since I was waiting for that live Agent to respond. I've been waiting for days. How many days do you really need to verify some PDFs? How many days?

My account has been locked since 13 July 2023 (six weeks ago) and I have a considerable amount of funds in the account. I immediately opened a chat regarding this and have spent hours liaising with the staff who change on a regular basis and continuously tell me that I am being scammed. I have provided all the supportive documentation they have requested, on numerous occasions and have responded to all their questions but still they tell me I am being scammed.

Frustratingly, they do not elaborate and support me to understand how I am being scammed.

I have explained that I am not being scammed and have, in my desperation, asked on several occasions for my account to be closed. They continuously ask me if I would like my account closed, I respond asking them to close my account and the cycle continues…

I have formally complained through their own channels and whilst that has been 'auto responded to' I have no further response. Although their staff keep pasting their complaints link in the chat!

Despite my promise to take to social media and complain to the FCA, their inaction and ability to move my case forwards continues.

I strongly advise everyone not to get involved with Revolut. They cause stress and in my opinion are a deeply dubious financial service. I have never had an experience like this. Stay away.

Well, it's really sad to say that Revolut isn't as good as everyone say, I do understand that if you tu use it just to pay a bill etc you may be happy with it but it all changes when you having bigger amounts transferred to this "bank"… they have just lost over £9000 which has been paid to me and now they are giving me a £100 for the hassle! That's joke! They advertise themselves as a secured place to keep you crypto, well we have trusted them and now we have lost all those money. So please if you are a trader or person which keeps crypto DO NOT USE them as they can easy loose your money! They aren't protected despite what they say.

Often freezes, it's very embarrassing to have your card frozen when you are about to pay... They are slow and unprofessional, they put your account for verification for months and you cannot access your money, and their trading platform is the worst! Trading there was good at first than they started increasing the custody fees, with 1116%. You get crashes and zero responsibility from their side, the charts are probably purposefully started several minutes after the market opens and if you put more than ******* still you cannot do day trading! Do not recommend use N26 and Binance and Coinbasepro

Recently I had a very terrible experience although I was a 3 year customer of this Digital Bank. After I was talking about Solana Crypto Currency in their chat through the app, they put,out of the sudden, my account under investigation to see the problem and a few hours later they decided to close my account without any reason at all.! I was asking them to tell me the reason to see where was the problem and they only reply that it was their right to do so, and they did it.I still do not know the reason of closing my account permanently and I made a dispute to their Bank to tell me why they have proceeded to such a action. I got no response but they clarified the above..."that they have the right to do so". I tried to reach them through their chat after a few days ago and asked them to reopen the account but they refused because I was already black listed under their policy.
I really do not know what agreement I have violated because they did not say...! They did not even warn me to correct my mistake if there was any...!
Of course after this I understand that this kind of a service is very unreliable and not trustworthy at all. So please be careful who you trust.

Tip for consumers:
They have black listed my account and phone number like I was a criminal or something by raising some multiple KYC parameters which honestly I do not which??? I am a customer and I have the right to know.
Besides that , I realized that they own a company like TRASTRA witch I think that they have done the same think there too.
