Had I known how horrific Roblox customer service was I never would have allowed my child to spend a dime on it. She has been playing Roblox since 2018, has spent lots of money in gift cards on the app. A couple weeks ago her account was hacked and all her birthday money drained from her account, she was then locked out of it. It's been two weeks of trying to get Roblox to respond appropriately. We reached out right away, had screenshots of everything - didn't matter. We've been stuck using their support request forms and going back and forth via email for two weeks. Most of the time we only get generic responses with tips on changing passwords or internet safety. When we have gotten personalized responses, they have made zero effort to help us remedy the issue. Not only has there been no offer to return lost funds, there hasn't been any communication that even indicated that they regret the bad experience. With so many companies competing for our business and offering amazing customer support and service, why would we spend one cent with a company who profits when its customers encounter issues like hacking or software failures? They have designed a labyrinth of dead-end supports to avoid any accountability or interaction with their customers. Not an exaggeration to say WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

One time Roblox gave me a 7 day ban just because I uploaded a game. The moderators said that I added a Ultimate Trolling GUI in my game that they found inappropriate when I didn't even put that in my game and also the game wasn't supposed to be inappropriate in any way. You can literally get banned for uploading a model, decal, or audio/sound the moderators claim to be "inappropriate" when it isn't at all. The moderators are just Dumb robots that don't know what's inappropriate and what's not. Roblox also likes to ignore reports. Roblox also doesn't make the game for kids as they let people upload inappropriate/adult content models and they don't care about their chat filter [such as R63/R34 models]. The chat filter sometimes glitches making it hard to communicate with other players or allowing players to curse/swear. There are also other methods people use to swear such as players saying in the chat "STFU" which means "shut the f**k up". The moderation is very bad and reminds me of communist Russia or Nazi Germany.

EDIT: Most times when you report someone on Roblox, they don't get a warning of ban. Sometimes I see really bad stuff on Roblox. Sometimes on the game called "Spray Paint", I see players drawing curse words and swastikas/Nazi symbols in the skate park, walls, and on anything else where you could draw. Roblox may be a fun game, But their Support won't help you that much when it comes to false account deletions. I may not have my account deleted yet, But imagine they ban a dev. For no reason. Like, They would contact Roblox Support. Then they could get a awful message from Roblox after waiting for about 5-6 days. And it could even say about having future actions to their account. Even tho their account is already like gone. This means they did not even read it. The auto mod is bad at doing its job. I understand that they get lots of reports everyday. But the auto mod, its HORRIBLE at its job. This auto mod needs to be better. But even tho Roblox is fun, They need better moderation. Or support. Remember that this has a kind of a high chance of this happening during false account deletions with the reason, SCAMS. If it was a scam, It would have a 30% like rating. Having a 50/50 doesn't make it a scam. It could be too hard or a bug. Or even something else. 50% is not that close to 30%. Like, THEY NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. They will ONLY do something about that if it goes viral and hurts Roblox's reputaion. I know that was spelt wrong but don't judge me about my spelling. Roblox is still fun. Be very careful with these guys, all is fine and we'll until they continually request your children to purchase things through the apple store and then delete your account, refusing to give back the money you've spent. Dodgy business and customer service is NON EXISTENT!

Here's their response after actually giving us no information, requesting the account be reinstated and 12,000 robucks purchased be restored. They just delete and keep your money. Robbery!

Tips and tricks before you start playing:
Make sure to check your settings for the Roblox account you make, you can set up an email account so if you forget your password then you can rest it and get your account back.
If your child is under 5/6 you should remove the chat option so she/him cannot talk to anyone in-game until they are older, as some games require teamwork meaning planning out what to do etc.

Why Roblox is safe for kids?
Roblox is safe for kids as it teaches kids about being a problem solver and finding out how this or that game works. There are games that are called "Tycoons" on Roblox and it is about how to manage cash and buying things that make them money to get other things, to buy buildings and walls to build and defend themself. Some other games that your kids can play are called "Tower Defense or Tower Battles" they are defending, teamwork games that you need to work with to not lose the game. You are defending a base from zombies and don't use any gore just fighting NPC zombies from the base.

If you ever find any inappropriate games you can report it, they get deleted in less then 5 hours most of the time.

I wanted to buy a gift card for my grandson. I had problems with maneuvering the site and ended up buying credits instead of a gift card. I could not get access to customer service. As they do not have a phone number or a chat to use, only emails They would not provide me with a refund or a transfer of my credits to a gift card They charge 30% to transfer credits from one user to another. My child asked if they can play a game called Road blocks. I said "Yes child. Just make sure to not spend any money, my dear son." After 2 months, he asked me if he could buy something called road bucks. I said no son, i dont have enough money. I told him that he could find it for free and he found a website to get it for free, he just had to wait a few days to redeem. A week later he came out in TEARS. He got logged out of his account and his password was incorrect! Do not play the game! When you get road bucks it takes your account!

It is creative and fun all throughout! It's a way to pass the time when you have nothing else to do!

Roblox is evil. There was a game called something about sonic, with the owner called "Dead inside mephiles". And he was a pedophile. What did roblox do? Banned his account, after the ownership was transfered to his alt. What did roblox do? Nothing. Sega did no wanted to be affiliated with Doc (aka dead inside mephiles). What did roblox do? Roblox took it down ONLY BECAUSE SEGA GOT IN! Faave (Fave) is a pedophile too. What did roblox do after getting tons of evidence? You prob. Guessed it. NOTHING! Faave's account IS STILL NOT BANNED! There are tons of other preds. You know who exposed many of them? Example: RUBEN SIM! What did he have? Tons of evidence! What did roblox do? You probably guessed it since it was huge. HE GOT SUED! Why? There should be a photo. Also the nude employer was POSTED BY THE WORKER/EMPLOYER ON TINDER NOT PHOTOSHOPPED BY RUBEN! Who was the first to know about the lawsuit exept roblox? The people who are in charge of the reports need to READ them I GOT BANNED for 14 days for saying "OK" WTH. They also need to be better on people hacking into accounts my account got hacked like 15 times

To me, these prices for Robux are reasonable. To me, $100 for 10,000 Robux makes sense, since almost all of the game passes on Roblox are at least below 500. This also makes the $10 for 800 or 1000 reasonable. Refunding might not be easy, but it is possible.

My son couldn't remember his password, and all of our attempts to reset it using every email/phone number we have didn't work. He thinks he mistyped the email address on his account.

So I contact Roblox support and they ask for a receipt from "iTunes" for our Roblox purchase. I was on my phone and iTunes doesn't work like that--I have all the information in the App Store or in Purchases and Media in my Settings. Also, since Roblox is a free download, it doesn't show billing information. But my Robux purchases do show that. So I send them screenshots, which they promptly reject because it's not "iTunes." I repeatedly tell them that "iTunes" does not show this information, but here is verifiable billing information including order number, billing address, date, etc. for Robux via both the App Store and via the Purchases and Media section. They reject it again and tell me there's nothing else they can do with zero information or clarification. This was a support person named "Harper."

So I write them again, get a different support person ("Sergio"). I'm now on my laptop and see multiple Robux purchases in my Apple Music app over the course of at least two years and again the Roblox download info but with no billing info because it's a free download. So I ask if they will accept the Robux purchase receipts and if so, do they need all of those or just one. They write back and tell me the attachment I tried to send didn't work.? I didn't send an attachment yet, I'm trying to figure out what they need, so I write back and tell them that. "Harper" then writes back and tells me there's nothing more they can do for me.

This is the most frustrating, infuriating waste of time I have ever spent with any support in my LIFE. I have spent hundreds of dollars on my son's Roblox account buying Robux for him over the years, and they refuse to help us get back into his account. It's absolutely ridiculous, my son is heartbroken, and I have just wasted hundreds of dollars on this thing because support is so unhelpful, they might as well not even exist.

Somehow my son's account made purchases for two similar items - all while asleep next to me. He came to me crying. I even added two-factor authentication and changed the password after this. Then I get an automated email a day or two later asking to confirm a password change - again, sounding like getting hacked. Roblox comes back saying they see no indicator of hacking and will not refund the ~17USD. Sad isn't it? I have told them that I will not allow my kids to buy more Robux (and they hold more than 17USD left in the account). So they can't even make a good business decision though there is no way my son make these purchases and no way he tried getting access to his account afterwards - both times computer off. Yes, that's not enough for Roblox to provide even a semblance of support? Trying to make a 9 year old happy? Shame!
