I was discriminated against, psychologically abused, accused of being a thief, I was humiliated for being Latina, by the cashier who is more Latino than me. How can he express himself that way and he also referred to her coworker as "the black woman." It's really serious. It all started when, upon arriving, I saw a wallet and it had no price, so I went to ask the cashier who was there the price, and she told me that it cost $12, but since we had just arrived there was still a lot to buy. At the time of paying, since the wallet did not have a label, the man wanted to charge me more than 12 and I told him no, that wallet costs only 12, I asked him to verify the price on his computer. And he told me in a very haughty and contemptuous way that "No" he said that he is not going to waste his time looking for a price. If I want to buy it, it will be at the price that the cashier says and if not, I shouldn't buy it. Besides, he said that I am Latina, I steal and take the labels off of things. And suddenly I felt a strong squeeze on my chest. And I asked him, "Are you calling me a thief?" There you have the cameras, you can check them and see them. He made me feel very bad. My heart is not healthy. We spent about half an hour or more waiting for him to sell us the wallet, at its true price. However, I only received a number of insults and mistreatment, my sister had to call the Manager on the phone and when she came I realized that it was the same person, who was at the cash register, when I asked the price of the wallet. She was the one who was able to sell me the wallet in the end. It is a crime to be falsely accused of being a thief without evidence and on top of that to be discriminated against, humiliated and make me and my family upset. Giving us a terrible and horrible time. My mother is an elderly person and suffers from high blood pressure, and the man had already upset my mother, and my niece is just a girl and the man had already scared her. Not to mention my sister and I, as well as other customers who were there, who couldn't believe the attitude of that cashier.

Not sure who reads this but, something has to change. It's easter and because i wear a size 12 in shoe I can't find anything. There's a sign for 11-12 but no shoes that fit that category. And I understand maybe most people wear maybe up to size 10. There is No where to find a pair of shoes in size 12 unless I order sometimes you want to try the shoe before you buy.

I think Ross should give work jut to people who do want to work. They are really losing customers because they have bad workers.

I was there to shop because I recently open my credit card for Ross so they send me a 10 percent off to use the manger did not want to put my coupon through she made me call customer service card had them ask her to put it through it has not been use and she say ok and all hang up at then end she say no it's been used can't process it intop of that the cashier gave me 10 percent off for shoes been dirty so she cancel that also say no we don't give nothing for shoes being dirty I was very upset she was very rude didn't give me the 10 percent off from the shoes joether 10 from them being dirty she should be fired for how rude she was to me I felt really embarrassed not going there anymore to that location very unprofessional of her

Hard to return Shoes without receipt.shoes dont Fit
Right. First choose Iba for workin the they were bad quality.
That's why i'm htrying to exchange all other shoes they don't fit correctly

I use to Love Shopping at Ross but there availability and low Stock on things has changed. The Management is horrible. They have very long lines and usually only 1 maybe 2 Cashiers. Stores are Dirty. They also hardly have Pre teen Girl size clothes.

There are good bargains to be had at Ross, but the stores are always a mess. I've visited 2 locations and they were both cluttered with no organization. They need to get all this straightened out if want to retain loyal customers.

My name is Shafiullah Khatri I have permanent disability I lives in California I am visiting now Sugar land Texas I am using wheel chair scooter for my mobility.
On 02/22/2024 I went to your store in Sugar Land for shopping I was surprised to enter in your store there is not accessible door your entrance door is manual which I need to open my self I purchased few items in your store there is one counter which has disabled sign to access people with disabilities so I went to that counter but the cashier of that counter even she had n other customer when I had requested er please attend me for payment but she refused me and she said from que when I asked her that counter shows to access for people with disabilities he said sorry go to que when your number will come than you can pay I had trolly and I need to manage my scooter too it was very hard for me to handle trolly and my scooter.
I asked from the store Manager but he was very rude and said to me we can only attend by que when I indicated him there is wheel chair sign at counter then why you not attending me but he refused me very rudely and they were laughing on me.
This is my humble request and complaint to you kindly make your entrance door automatic or at least with push button so people with disabilities can enter independently and enjoy shopping.
Kindly educate your staff regarding dealing with people with disabilities so they can pay as earlier as possible and other people who are in que will not get disturbed,

I gave this rating because it's hit or miss for me at Ross. Normally i'm trying to find 2 like items and i'll find what i want but can't find the match or two of a kind. So meh.

Tania had no customers. Other customers where in line with another register. We requested a price check because the price was missing. She told us for@ 2 minutes to get in line for another register to get a price check because she was busy with (no) customers in line. She eventually called her supervisor over to do the price check after publicly denying us service with a stare down. Tania stated that it would take her too much time to help us because she has to log in to the system to do a price check and that there are other customers waiting. ( Mostly Mexican or Latinos). When we left, she still did not have any customers. The whole place is Mexican or Latino hired and there is no diversity except my family as customers where we were stared down and looked down upon. We were publicly dishonored and refused service at first. We felt there were racist agendas, & very poor customer service. In the end when I suggested Tania work on improving her customer service, she loudly replied that her supervisor said she supported her actions and that she was in the right -(for denying us Customer service, and that for price checks one has to get in the back of a line for another register in order to have service with some one else, and for the stare down.) ——Tania represent Ross ——
For public arguing, denying service, and being racist. The look on your face at my family explained everything. The supervisor ended up helping us after we asked other customers in a different line that Tania wanted us in- if we could please get service, and if that would be ok. The supervisor according to Tania, still supports workers actions (of this type of disrespect, lack of common courtisy, treated differently based on race.) This is the 2nd time to this store and the second time being treated poorly. **If You are military or veteran, do not even bother coming here. They do not like diversity of customers, even when hiring. **Location: Round Lake Beach, IL. **P.S Thanks Ross for the stare down and lack of professional customer service. Vets: stay away unless you want to be triggered. We fought for our county and this store repays us by disrespect and justifies their actions to mistreat others. We were never apologized to for being maltreated.Ross: you may need price check station/s; It is too much work for cashiers to handle a price check even with no customers.

We let Tania and her supervisor know that if we decided to buy it, we would go in another line (because we were declined service, and to go to Another register where Tania is not working) According to Tania, this treatment is store policy and supervisor policy to treat customers in this manner. The only reason why we finally got service is because we refused to leave until we recieved service. **Do not even bother coming here. ** Especially if the policy on customer service and racism does not change, lack of diversity required by law. This location is for Latinos and Mexicans only- Just look around. Tania demands this treatment and considers it fair treatment.Solution: Boycott Ross.

There ought to be a zero star choice.

Ross is the worst store ever bad customer service they would not let us through when it was one minute left she would not let us through they made us walk the whole building from Ross to h and m.

My wife made a purchase of ~ $130. However, 7 min later her credit card was also charged ~ $270. She did not make that purchase. We went to the Ross store and the manager told us a bizarre story saying that their system retained the credit card information by mistake and that someone else used it. But did not give refund despite admitting it was their fault.

It is a total scam. They won't let you activate it without sending copies of your DL and SSC amongst other things, and then refused yo close my account when I refused to send them those things. Spare yourself this nightmare!

I've been working at Ross for quite a while. Was told if I quit my other job i'd receive full-time as I was needed at the store. Did full time for a few months only for them to drop my schedule down to 20 hours with no notification or given reasoning. Asked for it in writing and received nothing and now they have a new manager that doesn't care about it obviously as it it's not their issue. They screwed me out of living a normal life. I barely made enough locked into my lease with no real way to just switch jobs without missing out on rent. I have called H.R by the way and they never called back if that gives you any indication of the type of way they treat their staff. Being told by a manager that they had to quit because they couldn't tell us that we weren't doing our jobs is insane It's clear they want to shove people out the door no matter what you do. They won't look out for you.

When it comes to actual duties it depends on where you are stationed. If you're locked into the Stockroom you'll eventually break then again my store has had about 4 warehouse managers in three years with everything always changing. Some days they want this, some days they want that. Another thing they justify a 'box' as a unit of measurement when the objects inside said boxes vary. You are required to do a set amount, One box being 6 shoes or possibly 18 shoes or more depending on the day. They want 8 boxes in an hour so you do the math. You tear your flesh apart just to make enough to live off of top ramen.

They promised one Employee that just started $16 an hour and to raise their pay after being there for a while, I called out the past manager ( Brittany) on this and showed her the text she sent to that employee when she tried to deny it.

Overall 3 years with no pay increase and being screwed over. They launched a random investigation, never told me what policy was broken and let me go all over the phone if that's an indication of the type of people you want to work with.

I am making this public as a warning to all future employees at this company

I went to Ross at lakeline austin the cashier & manager were so rude that you don't have receipt we can give store credit we can't look up your credit card when I bought my bottom pant in December for 7.99 $ they said we have holiday extended until January 24th now with tag of 7.99$ they are saying we can give you 49cents how one denim pant will be 49 cents I will make sure nobody in my group will go Ross so cheap people are working. I left store without buying any stuff.

They are remodeling some of the stores. I noticed the hermitage store that I was in recently it's a holy mess third I have been there day or evening can't try on clothes. Fitting. Rooms closed always. I parked my cart full of items to purchase the lady that stand at door pretending to be security deciedes to move my cart and put my items back up while I was looking for something else. I managed to get her to recove some of the items but got home notice some she had already pit back up and I forgot to retrieve them. I had a friend work for Ross was mislead about het job title and left she was told by other store managers thet were interested in her which soon proved to be a lie. The Ross at Mt Juliet Store is a junky mess all the time clothes on the floor war zone look. I have over heard a store manager talk down to her employees and have some crying great impression. I am going to stop shopping at Ross been trying to for yrs, but prefer stores neat and leaving my cart alone.
A friend of mine complained to HR about issues they changed nothing their restrooms are locked hassle to get them opened Ross customers are treated as criminals I have been told in the past they pay down clothing to make sure ur not stealing something yet thet told about two ladies arms full of clothes walked right out without paying and no one can lay a hand on them. We have to many class stores to be put thry this. Bye to Ross u get no more of my $$. And your choice of store managers is the bottom of the barrel don't have enough employees it's either the pay or bad treatment the stores reflect both clearly.

Oklahoma City store on 1-240 I will never shop there again. THEY harass you!
They count your items, you scan them why they are watching you.
The guy watching wants your receipt, then he wants to search your bags. I will not be shopping there any more.

I returned 2 sets of sheets out of 4; 2 Nautica, and 2 Farmhouse brand. The staffed grilled me for 10 minutes as to why I washed them, and grudgingly gave me a store credit. How was I to know the quality unless I washed and used them?! The clerk argued that the other 2 sets, by Nautica, weren't possibly made of cotton because she buys them. I told her that was untrue as I am allergic to other fabrics. After getting the credit I returned to her counter with 2 sets of 100% cotton sheets. I'm not one to be overt, and say "I told you so," but when I paid for them, I mentioned it. No apology, and wouldn't even look at me. I'm a senior with cancer, and didn't point it out to gain sympathy, but it made the situation very difficult vs just giving me a credit instead of grilling me for over 10 minutes over why I was returning them, as if I were trying to pull one on them. Had to return a gift yesterday and found out that as soon as you purchase something with your Debit card at Ross they withdraw the money before you even exit the store like most places. Returning the item you used your debit card to buy is a totally different story. " It will take 3-5 business days and since it's the weekend even longer for you " Funny all the other stores I returned things at using the same Debit card offered me CASH! The manager at Ross could care less as a matter of fact she walked up shaking her head no and things just went downhill from there. I have a funny feeling she hasn't heard of the words customer service nor does she comprehend the concept! Lesson Lear's either use cash when shopping at Ross or better yet skip shopping at Ross!

I went in to buy a perfume and I found a juicy couture one. For 20$ thinking it was a nice size perfume and I get home and open it and it was so tiny of a bottle that will finish in couple sprays. I was so mad to put a 20$ on a small $#*! bottle of this perfume NEVER AGAIN SHOP HERE FOR PERFUMES. ROSS is a rip off a complete rip off pricy for nothing. Lesson learned.

NEVER GO TO ROSS FOR PERFUMES THEY ARE SO PRICY FOR A DAMN SMALL BOTTLE THAT AINT WORTH THE PRICE. DISAPPOINTING

The customer is always right! Well not at the ross location in Kingstown Shopping center virginia. The dressing rooms were closed and i proceeded to try the article of clothing on my self in a unpopulated corner of the establishment. After removing the clothing i was approached by a deranged employee who screamed at me for trying the clothing on. I was more frightened than shocked. Terrible customer service and rude.

So my order came to $60.17 and for some reason Ross is the only place qith a national coin shortage so I didn't have the 17cents in change they kept my 73 cents so they kept my change. We use to love Ross but lost my business you people instead of saying ok on the 17 cents kept my money. There is no national change shortage but thanks for ripping off hard working people. Never step a foot in the door of a Ross again

Ross Located at 1375 SE 17th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL *******. An associate was rude and harass me while I was shopping there. I ask for the Manager and some other person name Nikky, according to the badge, came and was very rude as well. When asked if she was the manager she pretend to be offended and was yelling at me and my wife all over the place. This place is outrageous, be aware.
