Eventually they did write me back to say that their server was having trouble uploading images for their automobile advertisements. I kept checking and this seemed to go on for weeks.

I spent 20 minutes setting up my advertisement and trying to get it to work. But it was all for nothing. I followed the instructions for their image upload process (I am a web developer also), and none of the photos would upload. Then, after a ridiculously long 20 hours later, they published my ad without photos (which of course got no responses). They also offer the option of emailing the photos to their support department. Then their email server promptly rejected my email. At least they were prompt about something. Totally useless.
A total waste of time! I got quoted at the price of $14,800 then after being told that the car is great condition by the valuer, I got offered $11,000. I wasted time attending their site and the business is totally aware there system is faulty!
I followed there online booking process for sellmycar.com.au site, and had a valuation of $27,600 for a late model Toyota Hiace van in great condition with low km's. I went in as scheduled for an inspection of my van. They said that the van is worth high teens, meaning $18 or $19k. What a joke!
The van goes for around $30k, they offered me $27,600 on the site, which was ok, But they suck you in to look for vulnerable quick sales people and offer crap $$.
Better to sell privately on Carsales or GumTree. Don't bother with them unless your in desperate need of money and willing to accept a low low low $$$ value.
The service was good, free tea and coffee, that's why the 1 star. Other than that, I will not use them at all.
That's my experience with them today. This is exactly what happened.
