I have been ordering from this site for quite a few years. I play oboe, in our church from time to time. I love that I can practice along with most of the songs, It saves me from having to drive twenty miles to get together with our pastors wife who is the organist. I accidentally ordered 2 mp3 recordings, they promptly refunded my money. Oboe music is difficult to find. The price is incredibly good also. I certainly would recommend this company.

I have now tried for several days to reach Sheet Music Plus by phone as I could not place a corporate order for music online. It fails every time. By email they replied I could try Paypal. Our corporate card does not have Paypal. They have shut their phone lines down completely! I finally had to use my PERSONAL Paypal account to place the order. HIGHLY DISSATISFIED with their service and website!

SITE IS ALMOST USELESS AND PHONES HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF

Have just ordered music for spring semester. Not received yet. SERVICE IS THE MAIN ISSUE.

I hate their recently retooled website. Their skinny fonts are more difficult to see for older readers. The showing of sample pages to peruse were more plentiful in the old website. One or two shots all you get now. And having to reset my password? My old setup was with Comcast which I no longer have access to. If I start a new account I lose access to all my previously paid-for Digital Library numbers. Who in mgt ever thought this new website was better?

I would recommend that smp spiral bind as an option. Most do not come with fingering. The notes often come blurred. Shipping is an add on and pricey. But it might be less expensive to go directly to individual pieces vs the entire book. That works for me.

The most ridiculous time to wait for the order I have ever experienced. One month ago I purchased a tiny book of Scriabin compositions. No update with any information! When it will be delivered? Nobody knows. This is somewhat super wrong. What a waste of time and money! I sent an email and received the response that my order is a back order by the publisher. Seriously? Why didn't you tell me this a month ago?!

Unfortunately, due to health reasons and a sudden death, 2 books that were purchased in December, as gifts, were no longer needed. I requested a return in February, got no reply, initiated another in the beginning of March, with a response stating beyond the 30 day return policy. SheetMusic demonstrated their lack of empathy & sorrow. SheetMusic is all about the sale.

They have no discretion, empathy, or compassion

7 months of back and forth, at no time did they offer to refund my money. Blaming the publisher.

Finally today they said it will ship FROM the publisher (ie. Please don't blame US!), and warn me that it often takes 8 weeks to ship to such a "remote location" as Canada. No matter that scores from Japan or France only take 2 days to ship here. What a load of bollocks.

Amazingly rubbish company.

I don't know why there are complaints about this website, I've been using it for a while now and it's pretty helpful

There a few minor things I'd also like them to change, but nothing is perfect right?

I did not receive the music when they told me I would so I called them and NOTHING is ever their fault! I paid extra to get two day shipping but since it wasn't shipped when promised, it doesn't matter how much I paid for shipping, I am not getting it in the time they promised. When the customer service lady could not justify why it was late except to try to blame the publisher, she hung up on me. I will never purchase from here again!

For second time they are unable to deliver. They blame the USPS and do not stand behind product. Shipped Dec. 2 not here 12/19. Agent told me to find another distributor.

I understand that we are amidst a pandemic and civil unrest, so shipping may be delayed. However, it's been almost 2 months since my package was supposed to be delivered. I've been in a constant struggle between UPS and this site to ensure that my music will come in general. Tracking has not been updated in again, almost two months, which leads me to believe my package has been lost. I don't care how late it will be delivered, but I'd like to be kept in the loop about when it would be. It's common when you're in a business where you ship items from your warehouse. I reached out to customer service, and they were nice enough but it felt like I wasn't a valued customer. Won't ever buy from this company again. I have asked for a refund and have not yet received a response. Won't buy from this site again. They were very unprofessional.

UPDATE: I complained to customer service that I would like a refund and they did not give one. Instead they said that it seemed my music may have been lost, so they sent out another package without charge. I got it two days later, which was a day earlier than expected and it was through FedEx. It seems UPS may be the problem so I feel bad for being so critical of this site. However, they should have listened to my earlier complaint rather than delaying my response. I love my music but please make sure you stay updated with them throughout your purchase.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure the music you are buying has a download option and download your music instead. I wish mine did when I ordered it and I also wish I read reviews before buying.

I've made 2 purchases with them. The first order was shipped to the wrong zip code, and had to be reshipped: it took 25 days since the purchase date to arrive at my place. The second one hasn't arrived yet, and it was shipped -to the SAME WRONG zip code - 26 days ago. I have been waiting for more than a month since the purchase date, and there's no indication that I'll get it any sooner.

DO NOT BUY WITH THEM.

Ordered a pdf copy of music sheet. It is expected to have 43 pages. After downloading it I checked the file and found it has only 2 pages. Contacted the customer service. They insist it is supposed to have only 2 pages. No refund.

Ordered 2 pieces of music. Paid for 2 day air, company shipped with "standard delivery" instead. I requested a refund of the overcharged shipping. The package tracking log shows it traveling by Fedex Ground and it is going to be late on a guaranteed delivery paid in advance shipping charge. They changed the order to standard shipping after it was billed and paid but I have a screenshot of the 2 day air charge and the changed to standard shipping showing the 2 day air rate billed. Going to my bank tomorrow to find out what to do about the overcharge if they don't respond.

Ideally a business should have customer service that helps people in a very kind and polite and calming way. When I inquired about a refund instead of giving me a call explanation about my question the lady over the phone yelled at me talked over me and was very nasty and disrespectful in her tone. I called back a little later and talked to another lady in the same room who heard the conversation and I asked very politely for her to bring it up with her co-workers and she didn't take accountability or apologize. I told them it's very rude and unethical to be so unkind when you're talking to someone and this is against moral values and being a decent person and I asked if she would bring it up to her coworkers and she said she would. Then after I asked her if the other lady was rude for yelling aggressively at me over the phone instead of taking accountability for her co-workers mistake she shifted the blame at me and said I was talking over the other lady when really she was not only talking over me and interrupting me when I didn't interrupt her at all in the slightest and I let her talk but the other lady was aggressive and nasty passive aggressive and mean all the same time saying the phrase are you going to let me talk when I was she just didn't want answer a question and got upset when I asked the question. That is no way anyone should behave and I was telling her me as a Jew I have high values and I know that God hates this kind of behavior and is disgusted by and that is exactly why we have covid because people turn against God and they don't love their neighbor and they don't forgive others and they're not kind of others and they don't treat people how they want to be treated so I told the lady music does the same thing it brings people together and brings people to love one another and I told her I pray the worst of your business and I am no longer supporting your business because going against God is against my values as a Jew and I told her you and your business are going against God by causing people to send and being nasty and ruin their lives and being aggressive and unkind and unloving in their lives and I told her that God hates that behavior and that is why we have covid and that is why my prophecies will come true that covid is about to get horrendous for the wicked meaning most people in this world because most people including them behave in the most unloving unholy and unkind ways. I was telling her that is a Jew the Torah teaches that we need to be loving individuals and you are not showing love when I have a question I told her I understand the answer but when I asked a question if you're not calm about it it's disrespectful and rude and I told her and Judy is in the sages compare anger to idolatry because when you're angry you forget about God and how he controls everything and it distances you from God and makes you an unholy person and when one is really angry they don't keep in mind something in Judaism known is Divine Providence meaning God controls everything and controls the outcomes of every situation but we have to do our part loving one another I told the lady you and your coworkers are not following the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself as God commands of Leviticus so I pray the rest of your company and covid is about to get horrendous and I pray for peace of the world. The really sad part is I'm classically trained on the piano and I bought from here before but they just lost one customer because I love music I love playing composers such as Bach Beethoven and Brahms and I have a strong passion for music and I've been playing piano since 8 and I am 26 and I can read music very well but the very sad thing is I'm not buying from a place that is so wicked. The Jewish concert is that even supporting a wicked company has terrible consequences for this world because by doing so you were supporting wicked individuals. I will happily go on the music and arts website and buy all the sheet music I need because I'm not supporting company with these wicked values and I hope and pray that everyone reading this or considering buying from here does the same. As a Jew I can tell you all that it is never wise to support a company that has wicked employees or wicked values even if they have good products and by following this moral code of ethics you will improve the world a lot. I advise anybody who considers buying from here to do their shopping on a reputable music site like music and arts because people who work for those places generally actually have an interest in music and don't just do their job for the money.

I used to put up with the spotty (nonexistent?) editing since it is basically a 'garage sale' of amateur music. The silver lining was the cash back program. That was recently discontinued with no advance warning. I'll seek a more reputable vendor in the future for a better quality control.

My item was shipped April 23rd and still have not received it. Customer Service is not very helpful at all. Called to inquire about my package and stated I had a time frame in which to receive this item, and that time frame was in within a reasonable amount of time. Was told to give it another week. I explained that it appears to be stuck at a post office and asked if they could look into it. They made no effort to inquire with that post office. My only option was to wait it out. Sent a followup up e-mail addressing my concerns and was told I had already spoken to an agent and "Agreeded" to give it more time. If the conversation was recorded, you will see that I did not agree to wait. Total waste of my time and was frustrated beyond belief. This company needs to state how their items are being shipped. If you provide a PO Box number, there will be massive delays since they ship UPS from their location and them it is rerouted from UPS to USPS where your item will be in limbo for weeks. They have reviews that verify the fallacy of this method, yet they fail to address this situation and correct it. No concern here for customer service. If you must order from these people make sure you provide a physical address or you may never see your item. If you're only option is a PO BOX, shop somewhere else or you will be greatly disappointed.

Received several Black Friday emails from Sheet Music Plus promoting a Black Friday sale offering 15% off your order, 50% off shipping, and a promise of a $10 off coupon for a future order. I followed all the rules ($30 minimum, entered the promotional code) and none of these discounts were reflected in my order. When I reached out to the company I received no explanation and was told to just submit the order as is and they would just adjust the order on their end. I don't believe for a minute that they would actually adjust the order once they got my money, and I thought their response was pretty cavalier, so I just ordered form another site - at a lower price.

I'm a professional musician. Before Amazon, this site may have been the go to place to get sheet music. Your neighborhood music store will also use this site to order your music. I ordered a piece of sheet music recently, and ordered express shipping too because my need was immediate. Never got here. I got an email this week saying that it was returned as undeliverable. They refunded the sheet music price but when I called about being made whole for the shipping, they said pretty much, too bad, not our problem, go chase down the shipper and complain to them. I suspect that they didn't get the addressing right.

Lessons learned: I should've gone with my gut and ordered Amazon even if it wasn't under Prime shipping. I would've at least gotten it. Also, Amazon hands down has much better pricing. Even if you use the publishers' websites, you'll get equal pricing (and prob less shipping) through them. However, if you want to wait forever to get your music, pay over standard shipping prices and chance that it might not get to you, absolutely, go with sheetmusicplus. For me, never again. If I'm going to get screwed over, at least I want it to feel good.

Order two books in September. Never received either books. Supposedly one book was shipped in October but here it is December, still have not received it. I have requested a status update twice but just receive the run around. Very unprofessional company... shop elsewhere.

Placed an order via their website.

Checked my order status later and found it canceled without any communication or explanation. Contacted them and the rep accused me of being fraudulent, no explanation or justification.

Even though they canceled the order, they did not refund my payment and I had to chase after it.

I do not like being accused of fraud for no reason. Do you?

After trying to cancel an unprocessed order very shortly after having sent it they claimed they never received a cancellation and sent the order.
As I live in Europe I would have to send it back at my expense registered mail, not really an option.
Have bought from them before, but after this shambolic experience never again, will buy my music in future from somewhere else.

It is said that if, on a set of company accounts, you see a mistake on page one don't bother looking at the last page - the mistake will have grown.
And so it is with the download of Rachmaninoff op. 21 no. 6 [Otryvok in C sharp minor], the second beat of the third bar, left hand, is the dominant chord and shows B natural not sharp [!]. Bar 6, third beat, an unnecessary # against the F [it's in the key signature]. Bar 7, two arpeggios on F# minor, # is showing on each bottom note, bar 8 has a chord with a random unnecessary F#...I could go on - but I never looked any further...too cross!
I suggest that anyone looking for a download should have a good look before buying...but you can see the first page only!
I have not shown proof of purchase as it shows too many personal details

STAY AWAY! Toxic webshop!

First very negative experience with an online shop in years. Ordered expensive sheets via Paypal which never arrived. Tried to contact them multiple times but never got any answer. Resulting in a paypal claim. I hope to get my money back.
