The matches you receive do not meet your specific profile request. The signup and renewal terms are not communicated when you join. The auto-renewal period is set for six months and cannot be cancelled and no partial refunds offered. Additionally, it appears that renewal fees are automatically debited from your account the day before the renewal date. I came back for a look and had forgotten just how manipulative this site is. Truth is the companies who run sites like this actually run many and you can see consistencies in how they extort money from their subscribers. I do feel they deserve to be paid for managing the site but the amount is ridiculous.$45.00 a month AND a mandatory 3-month payment. It only gets worse from there and anyway you look at it, you are paying over 100.00. So many of these sites tell you have mail but half of it is from them! But they blur everything or won't show you any part of the inbox just so you will pay to see what is really going on.

It's a shame. If anyone authentic writes you, it will cost you big just to read what they have to say and so many are scammers that I have to wonder who is scamming you more, them or the company?

Pity

I have been on a number of mainly senior dating sites and know how to identify a scammer, sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few messages and I am stunned by the number of scammers on Silver Singles. I get one or two messages a day from supposed women who put their phone numbers on the photo, sometimes scrawled over their face, often put on a peach symbol, and the area codes never jibe with where they say they are from, always a red flag, and many of them claim to have either masters or even doctorate degrees but have jobs like florists (surprising number of "florists") or cosmetologists, not likely the kind of jobs women with advanced degrees are likely to have. I have written a long essay on how to identify scammers and wish I knew how to share it with you all.

Don't bother with Silver Singles or any site run by the thieves at Sparks. The sites Sparks runs are nothing but a scam and have nothing but fake profiles. Save your money and time.

Wrote six times so far telling them that their site isn; t working. I'm unable to respond to other Member which makes me look rude and uncaring. What a shambolic mob! Don't waste your time and money; go to a well known and reliable alternative.
