It was a very long and hard way to get any success in my online business when I started it 7 years ago for the first time. I tried out a lot of options offered on the Internet thinking that key for success is just a software. But, had no luck. 3 years ago I started working with Skadate and it was outstanding contribution to my business. I came with my idea and now I can make millions of people happy. As stated I would add to the update if things changed. Since my first review over a year ago the Skadate team has been helpful and responsive. There has been a few additional plugins made by developers. Additionally Skadate also made a few custom modifications which were delivered on time and worked as agreed. As before, I will add to this over time.

I bought the skadate software with very little knowledge of how to manage, and it set up. The staff without any hesitation assisted me throughout the process, answered my question and even after my support has expired they continue to provide a helping hand with the issues I encounter. Very friendly staff, excellent customer service and tends to all the queries. Great job and thumbs up to you.

I had been building my business with skadate software for 3 years - it was ok - you will never do great with their software, but you can do 'OK'. Then I asked a simple question about why something wasn't working. There support did something with 'Crons' that brought my entire site down. Nothing but a white page and some code was left for my steadily growing membership database to be greeted by. I thought they would correct the mistake they made within a few hours. They didn't. In fact I sent several emails requesting they fix whatever they did and get my site that I had invested thousands into and spent 5 years working on - back online. No response. My site has been down for 4 weeks now due to a mistake they made that I need them to fix but they won't - maybe they cant, maybe they just don't care? SKADATE IS BIZARRE - WEIRD - HORRIBLE! I consider my business at this point over. I have attached a screen grab of the 'support' I received. There wasn't any! Its disgusting - DO NOT BUILD YOUR CASTLE ON SAND WITH SKADATE. Their lack of professionalism, ignorance and dumb mistakes will eventually wreck your business.

Skadate is a good solution for beginners but you'll have to make some compromise. You get a whole system that supports pc and mobile. But most functions in mobile are disabled and many 3rd party plugins don't support mobile version. Some elementary things are missing. There are no smileys in core and the only smiley plugin costs 30USD and is not updated to the newest core version.
Skadate is a good solution for small dating websites. But if you want to make big business, you must invest money for development and maintenance because most suggestions are ignored by skadate and you have many bugs if you use too much plugins. But you need so much 3rd party plugins because the core software is missing so much functionality. And many plugin developers don't support their own plugins. Individual development is expensive and you must invest again for updates. One example is video uploading. The core software doesn't support video uploading. You can just add videos from video websites like youtube. There is just one 3rd pay plugin for video upload but it just upload mp4 videos and has many bugs. You don't get any support by the developer. Skadate doesn't help you because they are not responsible for 3rd party plugins. But they make ads for their product with these plugins.

Nevertheless the main functions are great and you can start with skadate your own business. The biggest advantage of skadate is the open source license. So you can customize your website at all but you must a be an expert or you should have money to hire experts.

I would give more stars for skadate if they were able to realize suggestions and understood, that basics functions are not enough for a successful business. And thez need a better system for plugin development a support.

They resolved the issues with the apps.

The bigger issue is they need to resolve why they make apps in operatable while they do the needed updates for a newer version.

Great service, I searched for months and found that skadate had everything all in one package. Of course you need to upgrade if you need more products but I'm highly satisfied

I had been with SD for about 7 years. All fine until they changed their software and existing users had to change over to their new OxWall platform. The migration across was free but I had to pay lots for additional features just to get back the features I had before. As soon as the migration went ahead it was a clusterf**k. My site was down for 3 weeks (only meant to be 5 days at most!). Then the site just wouldn't load quickly and would time out so members couldn't access the site. They spent months saying it was our hosting, when we knew it wasn't, our server wasn't even breaking into a sweat. They wouldn't tell us the server settings, so after reluctantly allowing them access they conceded it was them. They blamed it on a message plugin, said they resolved it, but they hadn't. They then just stopped answering my support tickets. I had the personal number of one of the engineers so I could message when it went down as they needed to check in real time what the issue was. Well nothing, no email replies and no text replies, nothing for two months. Luckily I had decided to move platforms and two month later moved to my current supplier (who btw get a lot of ex SD customers coming to them). It was an easy migration, no problems. Don't know why I didn't kick SD into touch years ago. Skadate cost me 9 months of hell and I lost a great deal of time and money, not to mention hair! SD make out they are based in US, but they are based in some former Russian republic, Kazakhstan I think. Don't touch these people, there are much better dating scripts out there, and ones with excellent support. I'm not going to list the one I moved to in case I am accused of being a competitor, I'm not, I was a genuine SD customer and can prove it. My new platform is great, better functionality, better looks, their customer support is second to none, and the software hasn't missed a beat since I migrated across. They have a forum where other customers can talk about their businesses and offer advice. SD don't do that, they used to but closed it down, I wonder why?! So please if you value your sanity don't go near SD, I still get the shakes when I think I nearly lost my business because of them. PTSD - Post Traumatic Skadate Disorder! Oh and one more thing, funny how all their latest reviews on here are 5 star, not genuine reviews I think!

I have been ramping up my site in which I purchased the template from skadate. I have been working with a project manager, Margareth, through this process thus far and I cant say enough good things about the support I've received and how user friendly the set-up part is for a non techy like myself. It's unique as it's not a "dating site" per say, however they have been great during this transition and getting me everything I've needed thus far. Let's hope this momentum and support keeps up! Writing this as a developer creating sites on demand. Have great cooperation with Skadate going back a few years. Started with a single license under Master and went on to get several more licenses for different sites, including the latest version. Always had only positive experience, even when hit trouble with Arvixe hosting. Considering getting a personal manager for my next client, this should improve communication due to different time zones (Canada). Overall, the best service among others (installation, updates, etc.).

Nice script with an ability to get third party gateway integrations.
By default I got PayPal and CCBill out of box.
Was granted a bonus gateway as a gift on pre-sales stage.
Then ordered 2 more gateways for about $40 from other developers.
Will not be using CCBill, but 3 other gateways are working well. Received first payments last week.

I have used skadate for at lest 5 yrs. Spent thousands and made no money, I have two web sites.
I have spent so much money in support/sites/apps/ web developers. I have wasted money with Skadate Seo support that was just a waste of money no effect ( felt; ike i was scammed totally with the seo. When complained they didnt care they had my money and that was that. The money and time I have spent with his company is very sad. I 14 thousand unhappy members on my dating site. Complete waste of time/money. Very disappointing. You would think Skadate would want there there clients to make money. I wonder if anyone other than Skadate are making money. I know in 5 years i haven't.

As stated above I've purchase this product close to 60 days ago. From the first week it was problems with the software. (Problems like)glitch, s script issues etc. Meaning if these issues are not resolved the problem will escalate and in my case it did so perform my worst fears!
This software is a dating program, so when clients sign up for service they are excited to be on a new platform for the hopes of finding that true love, partner etc. In the case of Skadate software they wasn't able to login are receive what they sign up for. Which was a chance to meet the love of their life. My domain is own by myself, it's called Qaraahdates.com Which is no longer working because of all of Skalfa LLC Glitch's and Bug issue's clients start to close their accounts, now I've lost revenue. These are the dates of the Ticket Support Issues I also have screen shots of the techs form Skadate trying to fix the glitch's but couldn't. The dates are as follow. 6/14/2015, 6/15/2015, 7/10/2015,
7/11/2015, 7/14/2015, 7/16/2015, 7/17/2015, 7/26/2015, 7/29/2015, 7/30/2015,
7/31/2015. Skadate hide behind their Polices as if they are so protected and knowing they have a crappy product! Let's say you go to a dealership and purchase not a brand new car but, a use car in some states you have a 30 to 60 day returns, if that car was a lemon that buyer could receive some type of refund! Same scenario only this time it is with software. This law should hold the same principles as a New or Used Vehicle. The internet is full of scam artist. I do believe Skadate software has the ability to be great, However the developers that are working for Skalfa LLC are not knowledgeable enough for this to happen. "Remember" Skadate software is the most expensive software on the market for as dating software go's. And last When I told them about the problems since I purchase the software and they also have copies of all the support tickets. And the fact that the purchase is just 60days old that some type of refund need to be granted. The reply was our policy says "NO! REFUNDS!" I could see if they where to defend their software, but instead they was only concern with the bottom line. "CASH FLOW" That says to me being in business myself as Q. F-LLC. That they know they have a crappy product and still on the internet selling this awful software and making tons of profits with knowing consumers will have major issue's with their product. That is intention to re-produce damaged products! Their reviews speaks 'VOULMES"

The support is currently $99 per month and while that seems quite a lot, the support I have received in this last ticket has been 'outstanding' and well worth it! I was allocated Lora who has been unbelievably helpful even offering extra help (regarding css and ways around things etc) where possible.

If you have a few things to work through, the costs comes down to just cents per issue and the support is absolutely top professional. There are a couple of bugs with the actual software but the support which I have received has been fantastic! Professional and straight to the point yet still friendly and if you are lucky enough to get Lora, you'll be sorted!

Couple of words about my site first.
I am using Skadate script for a rather specific niche where "dating" per say is actually more of an interest matchmaking process.
I have clubs who would like to find members and members looking for a club to join.
Well, Skadate script so far works great for me.
Some features do not come out of box. Well I did expect this, thus got an Advanced solution with some free development hours to cover major modification of mine - connecting events to clubs.
Events feature was there by default ( another awesome thing is ability to use third party plugins). Just needed some adjustments to get a more flowless process for my niche.
Pleased with the modification performed.
A word of advice - talk to Natalie and confirm all modifications details beforehand. She is very helpful in determining what extra stuff you might need but dont know about. Loved working with her!

Ok folks. This sofware is HUGE as a site back end. Admin panel + deskop front end + desktop front end in mobile browser + mobile version + iOS and Android apps. Comes with the neutral and light layout for inner front end pages and mobile browsers. Therefor is exately what you need if you are using a very fancy custom one page scroll landing page powered by another script. Install skadate into subfolder and place links to it on your landing. Advice: just tell them what you need and what you are doing before you actually go ahead and do it. Lost several days trying to figure what turnd out to be a 1 min fix from their team.

Ska blocked so many basic service.
No mobile friendly site just usless apps.
To many bugs and no user friendly.

Perfect back end software for matriomonial dating sites.
Quick pros:
- available extensions for some extra security (ex: Twilio based sms verificaitons).
- email verificaiton, profile + content approval that come out of the box.
- my desiner also liked an easy tool for CSS changes ( personally I have no idea what this is but it does seem to work peferctly well: smiley:

Noticable thing that is missing in default package and must be ordered additionally
- multiple step registration process ( currently only 2 steps, but I need more since i have a lot of questions users must answer during join)

All in all i liked the way I was guided throug all the processes by support team.
Am doing apps right now and might edit the review if something happens.

I would like to say a very BIG thank you to all the staff at Skadate, (Sabrina, Linda, Ross). They have always been there to support me no matter what I ask and I'm very grateful. I consider after sales support to be the most important aspect. Skadate don't just sell you the software and leave the rest to you, they are there with you all the way. I recommend Skadate to anyone.

Im using Complete pack from Skadate. You get what you paid for. All is GREAT! Apart from script itself ( which is working as expected), their team set AWS server for me with all that stuff I had no idea about before and probably would have screwed up if I attempted to do this myself. User migration service from my old site (thats another story, but I wont name names - the first script I bought from another company turned out to be worst than crap) to new site + new server also went very well giving amount of data that I had on old site. Lost couple of users due to invalid email addresses, but other then that import went seamlessly. Defenitly recommend SK for those who already have a site and feel like moving to a new scripe.

I purchased the software and was told I could customize it. Well I can't! There are sooo many glitches. I was given false information! I have asked for a refund and they will not honor it. This company is a scam! Don't flush $399 down the toilet like I did!
