Songsterr

I'm a beginner guitar student and advanced drummer who doesn't know where to start really in the guitar field. I found Songsterr on my phone and thought "hell yeah!" I really like it, easy to read, and the tempo control is great for beginners like me. I was a little bummed I had to pay 5.99 for extras like that, but whatever. Then I got on on my computer and thought I could sync my membership via Google. Nope!. My "customer service" response."sorry the desktop and app sites are separate".$10 a month for the desktop!? Rediculous. Overall? Great tool for guitar, bass, drums etc. terrible customer care and price... 3.5

This is a good website, but as a bass player, I don't think that it is really good because you can't hear the bass, sometimes even on the bass tab. It's really annoying because some songs are based on the bass guitar, yet songsterr is failing to make bass hearable.

Been going to songsterr for many years and getting free guitar tablature so i thought when i seen the mobile app great i dont mind spending money to get what i can get for free on my laptop i understand it cost you money to make but when i went thru the list on mobile and see only 500 songs available for the app i paid for vs the free one with millions of songs and the features i get for free a way better than what i paid for that just doesnt make good economical sense to most anyone... if i have to pay it should be better than what everyone else gets for free in my opinion so dont waste your money on mobile app cause u arent gonna be happy if you do

I really love songsterr. It helped me a lot in my journey of learning guitar. There are some tabs that are quite bad, though, but they can be avoided.

Songsterr has thousands of free guitar tabs that include interactive features. You can Access most of the interactive tools for free, and if you learn a lot of songs it is worth to get a paid membership

Great site, if any guitar/bass noobs are interested. It's real cool with it's real time format, actual play along with feel, multi instrument accompanies, and simple viewed layout. Given that tab can be easily read from as many text files, it's not surprising that the popularity of tabs has grown as the popularity of the net has. Heck, even before there was a "world wide web" there was a useless group dedicated to tabs, and an ftp archive based on that group.
