This hotel is on a particularly dirty street corner in Manhattan. The no frills Hotel has a courteous staff but luck is what you need for a good room.
The hallway rugs on some floors are practically held together with safety pins (like the 11th) but luckily we were switched to another floor. Room service straightens up but we had no clean glass replacements and sometimes we had a complete towel set. Bed sheets are not changed, just made. It's a 3 star because the staff is so friendly and that says a lot. But otherwise, do not intend to stay again.
