I would strongly recommend shopping at the carseldine goodguys due to there commitment to keep there customers happy I had a warranty issue and while I was waiting for my item to return they give me replacement to get me through The store manager and a few of the reception ladies when out of there way for me.

I ordered a dishwasher online... It said in stock with a 48 Hour delivery... Purchased it... had an installer ready for delivery... No delivery. Checked my invoice for delivery date but suddenly it has become a back order... Can I get through to anyone that knows anything? Short answer is, Not A Chance! AND I also have to organise someone again to install but when? Looking for a working crystal ball, if anyone has one please PM me.(do we even say PM me anymore?)

I ordered a dishwasher online... It said in stock with a 48 Hour delivery... Purchased it... had an installer ready for delivery... No delivery. I paid for a stove delivery and installation to to vacant property being renovated. They wouldn't deliver without someone being there albeit understanding it was at my risk. I had got the real estate agent to unlock the garage but as the delivery company could not tell me the delivery time within 3 hours. No one could wait. They have now said they can't deliver.

Customer Service? What's that then?
Just over a year ago, I made the big mistake of buying a laptop from the (so called) good guys. Such a misnomer; they are anything but good.
The laptop developed a fault. I returned on January 3 and after first attempting total deniability, then trying to buck pass to the manufacturer, I was told that they would undertake the necessary repairs at their cost. I clearly should have got that in writing because after their allocated repairer had established the costs, the good guys changed their minds.
After discussion with a store manager, she offered a compromise fix.
That was some 5 weeks ago but I still have no laptop or replacement charger. It seems, the repairer would not release the product until payment from the good guys had cleared into their account. I find it worrying that a company of their size can't establish a credit rating with a relatively small repairer.
The most frustrating issue currently is that the store don't answer calls and neither does their national customer care department.
I am left without my laptop though I am fortunate that my living does not depend on it.
I live in hope that one day we'll be reunited but never again will I purchase anything from the store that tops my list of useless retailers.

ComplaintI am writing to address an ongoing issue regarding the purchase of a washing machine from the store, Tempe GOOD GUYS, in July 2022. The LG washing machine I purchased has developed rust on the top. Following discussions with the store, we reached a mutual agreement to resolve this matter, which included a reimbursement of $450. Regrettably, despite assurances from the store manager, only $431.25 has been returned to me thus far, leaving a shortfall of $18.75. I was informed on the 8 April 2024 that the remaining amount would be credited to my account by April 10,2024. However, to date, I have not received the promised reimbursement. This lack of follow-up and failure to honour the agreement is disappointing and reflects poorly on the reliability and integrity of the store. In addition I was tricked into cancelling the Tribunal hearing on the 12 March 2024 with the promise mentioned above but it has not been fulfilled. I have spent hours on the phone enquiring of what is happening and why the unfounded delays with continuous excuses. They have not understood the importance of resolving this matter promptly and in good faith. Please do not trust them. They are dishonest.

When ordering an iPhone 15 Pro Max on the day they made it available for pre-order they then didn't have the item available on launch day. When enquiring I was told that other customers bought them early on the day of launch and I would have to wait another 4 weeks. This company simply steals your money and doesn't deliver - don't bother with a pre-order here, in fact don't bother at all - the staff are rude and do not reply to complaints. I was issued a gift card and still required to purchase from these thieves.

Avoid this place, I’ll personally be having a party the day they go out of business.

Ordered an oven and a dishwasher at the Black Friday sale. Upon purchase I arranged for a Monday delivery for the oven, dishwasher needed to be ordered in… Delivery never happened on that Monday! I went on to organise another date a few days later, but no delivery again. Despite calling every day, twice a day most days, it took 5 attempts at making delivery arrangements for my oven to be delivered. Keeping in mind that they kept promising me delivery so I had to be home on those days to wait for them not to show up!

In that time, my dishwasher had finally arrived and was scheduled to be delivered on the same day of the oven's 5th attempt and guess what? No delivery again!

I am lucky that I work from home so flexible with delivery date/ time but if one had to take time off work to be delivered, I would definitely not be buying from the Good guys! In that time I also had to cancel the electrician to connect the oven and cooktop (purchased elsewhere), so this whole ordeal means we've had no means to cook other than the barbecue and a little camping gas! Not ideal! It seems the Good Guys believe their time is more valuable than ours!

Also, in all this time, it is impossible to speak to anyone in management, they are either in a meeting, gone for the day or they will give you a call back NEVER!

Will I be buying from the Good guys again? Maybe in store, but I will never ever buy from them if it requires delivery! I would rather pay more or do without than put up with all that unnecessary stress!

My review is on the company service not a product. This company is impossible to contact after you purchase, they show no interest in their customers. Their website backend is a mess few links work or return you back to the beginning. The product order search function is laughable, in fact chimps could do a superior job. NEVER WILL I BUY FROM THIS MOB AGAIN! I'm assuming that after you place a web order some fool in a senior position believes thats the end of customer interaction. HOPELESS!

Purchased a dishwasher from Mile End store 4 months ago, had a tech come out 2 months after opening a complaint, Manager shrugs it off and says now I have to get approval for a refund through the manufacturer {3 weeks ago}, Dish washer {Technika} is Crap, doesn't clean and doesn't dry, takes 3 hours for the cycle. Ultimately, there is NO customer satisfaction here. Good luck with your returns. I have 3 homes, will never shop. Bad- Guys again.

Tip for consumers:
Don't expect the Good Guys to honor their products or services. I'm out $500 with a piece of junk and they keep passing the buck to avoid refunds or exchanges.

Do not order online with these guys. Bought an item, they said the delivery date was 7/11/2022 and when it was not delivered the delivery system crashed and said my docket was no longer valid. It is now the 10/11/2022 and I absolutely cannot get in touch with any person from customer support - or anyone apart from the actual stores (who can't help anyway). Starting to feel like I have lost my money and consumer affairs need to get involved. So dodgy. Really wish I had of read these other reviews first. Don't know why they think they should be able to get away with it.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't use them. Maybe in actual store purchases will be better.

After being offered a next day delivery we was informed the next day wouldn't be coming so when calling Malaga store to explain on 3 occasions though our the day saying they would let us know in a hour we heard nothing back then was informed the following morning we would receive our delivery between 730,and 10 am because of work we said we would leave open a gate please leave it at the front door we are on a 7 acre property so it would be unseen from the Rd but they refused to leave it causing yet more hours lost at work so just remember that other suppliers in future will be getting my business ride ingnorant company

I ordered over the phone and due to a lack of clear communication ended up with an unsuitable product for my situation.
I didn't get any help from central sales and had some frustrating and fruitless conversations with them. I think I spoke to five people before actually getting help from the store who supplied the product.
So the issue was resolved but it was very stressful. This can't be an uncommon occurrence. I think they need to work on the protocols for responding to these situations or there will be a lot of customers who never want to come back.

Tip for consumers:
Go to a store, you need to see the product and talk through your circumstance even if you end up buying online. If you're trying to replace its also better talking to a store than an online rep.

The StoreCash is a SCAM! I have reported it to the ACCC and suggest you do too... what a TOTAL JOKE! We bought a stand up freezer in December 2022… the sale, transaction and pickup went quickly and smoothing… as part of the deal there was "StoreCash" offered and bonuses if you paid a certain way etc. it is now 30 January 2023 and this "StoreCash" has not appeared and they will not help me to find it… I have spent over an hour on the phone already and got nowhere and just now have been hung up on again while on hold… shop elsewhere.

I purchased a Weber bbq on TGG online store. After waiting for it to come in stock I was sent a message that delivery would be Sunday 11 December. After waiting at home all day (like so many other things I could have been doing) no delivery. No message. Following up today meant over 2 hours waiting on the phone in various calls. Disconnected twice. Every staff member couldn't care less. Eventually I cancelled the order with a store manger, who also couldn't care less.
My advice? Buy what's we you need from Harvey Norman. I will NEVER. Shop from TGG again

We bought a fridge and a washing machine and paid for premium delivery and removal because we have 5 sets of stairs in our apartment building.
For starters they told me the fridge was coming the next day so I took the day off work to wait for delivery they said they would give me 3hrs notice. It never turned up and when I rang at 3pm they said it was never coming and they couldn't get it there until Sunday. Apparently salesman's fault I should have been contacted.
They dropped off the new fridge and washing machine and refused to take the fridge said they needed more men. They said don't worry you won't pay extra we will get someone to collect during the week. No one came or contacted me. 4 phone calls the next week and they said they would organise someone to collect the next day. No one showed again. Last phone call to ye refused saying there are new toll legality's about taking fridges downstairs. Now I'm stuck with a fridge in my lounge room. Worst service ever. Don't buy from them. I've read so many bad reviews that I wish I read earlier.

I ordered a Tumble Drier online for my wife.
I paid upfront 'In Good Faith'.
I was told later that they had 'Nil Stock' but expected this to be rectified in 2 weeks - 4 weeks ago!
I have tried contacting them 3 times now and am still waiting for their promised 'Urgent Contact from a Manager' to be realised.
Surely Consumer Affairs have to move against these people since they are STILL advertising the same unit for sale online whilst having no stock available or any idea as to when this is likely to change.
How many people must they dupe like this before something is done about them?

Avoid 'The Good Guys' online services like the plague!
Even beware 'In Store' and refuse to pay upfront until the goods are delivered!
Their current business model has to be skirting the edges of legality, since they are STILL offering goods for sale they have no access to in any meaningful fashion.

I paid for delivery of my new washing machine including taking away the old one and installing the new one. When it arrived on the day before at the completely wrong time the delivery guys said they don't do that and I would have to ring the good guys. Of course being a Saturday no one is answering and no stores are answering either. I will be calling Monday for a refund of the $85 I paid for premium delivery. Really poor and I'm very unhappy. The delivery has let the good guys down. Fingers crossed I'm happy with the washer.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t bother paying extra for them to take away the old machine and installation of the new one.
