I Love this company. Website is easy to use. Prices are competitive with other sites. When needed, the customer service exceeds expectations.
What is deposit date? I sat here for 30 freaking minutes trying to buy the dang insurance after filling out everything. I finally put in my trip date. I will expect a refund if this is weird. It felt awful with a message about this passenger will not be covered. WTF? I also wanted the cheaper one and couldn't go back to get the other Gold choices. I added 200 dollars above my primary flight because I needed a 2nd round trip flight in South Africa. Please email me with answers to my concerns.
Purchased this insurance for the last trip and thought I'd use it again. So far, have not had to make a claim.

wait times on your 800# are too long. I had to call 3 times to ask questions and clarify on line purchase and how to execute it and I wait 15/15/10 minutes for each of these calls.

Tried to call about a simple question...since we are cruising - is the country destination where you start? Waiting 15 minutes on line and gave up.
This is the second time I have purchased travel insurance from Tripinsurance.com. They have had the best value for both of our trips.

Enrollment was quick and easy. Premium, very competitive. I like the choice of plans, so you don't feel you have to pay for coverages you don't need.
I always seem to end up picking the same policy! I guess that's the one that has everything I would need! It's nice being able to pick and choose.
Everything I needed was explained thoroughly thanks to the website comparison of the companies offered. I chose this site from a list given in a Forbes article I read and then shopped around. The price of the policy and coverage are reasonable.

On previous claim submitted minor cash expenses were not paid, like a tip I had to leave I cash for a covered meal. Tips in most other countries cannot be put on credit card.

I wanted to speak to a representative so I phoned your 800 number. I was on hold for 14 minutes and was cut off. So I used your web site and never found out about what type of medical expenses were covered.

On 5/29/19, I purchased trip protection from tripinsurance.com. I was accidentally charged $746 twice for the same trip/coverage (possibly due to my own error). I received an email the following day (5/31/19) from Nancy Skilken in the Tripinsurance Customer Service Department stating that she had caught the error and had issued a credit for one of the charges. I was very impressed, with such excellent service, but now three days later, the $746 reversal has still not been posted to my credit card account. Perhaps I am being a bit impatient. I'm hoping that the credit was issued, but that it might be taking a few days for MasterCard to process it.
I couldn't find anything about COVID exclusions so am assuming there aren't any. You really should have a COVID Q&A on your website
Will be using this site for Greek Island Cruise in May 2021. Only confusion is where to put down as destination of cruise.

Here is the definition of medical treatment from your policy: 'Medical Treatment' means examination and treatment by a Legally Qualified Physician for a condition which first manifested itself, worsened or became acute or had symptoms which would have prompted a reasonable person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment while coverage is in effect.
Exclusions include: normal childbirth or pregnancy (except Complications of Pregnancy) or voluntarily induced abortion; dental treatment (except as coverage is otherwise specifically provided herein) due to a Pre-Existing Condition, as defined in the Policy. The Pre- Existing Condition Limitation does not apply to the Emergency Medical Evacuation or Return of Remains coverage Elective Treatment and Procedures; medical treatment during or arising from a Trip undertaken for the purpose or intent of securing medical treatment; a mental or nervous condition, unless hospitalized for that condition while the Policy is in effect for You
