Ultimate Athletics

Ultimate Athletics was formed in September, 2014 in Toronto on Summerhill. Initially, this was a good gym, who had employed good employees, but for the last three month's, he has been hiring very inexperienced students to handle memberships and greeting clients. These receptionists are very rude and curt with everyone that enters the gym. They never smile and are extremely unprofessional - to name a few: Hailey, Rosenberg, Aisha, Club Manager, Aidan, etc. The male receptionists are somewhat OK to deal with. The owners, Vlad and Paula Rykiss are also quite arrogant - they come across kind, but once you get to know them, they show their true colours - they are actually quite the opposite. Initially, when they opened their doors, they were somewhat clean, but overtime, they became a very filthy gym. The members are quite dirty, they go to the washroom and never flush the toilet and the cleaning lady, who is Vlad's mother, never bothers to flush the toilets - this is discussing! The showers are filthy, I often saw that members pee in the showers. Vlad's mother uses the towels that members' use - the same towels she uses to clean the shower floor, rather than a mop. This is outrageous! Germs are spreading in the entire gym. Members are using the same dirty towels to wipe their body after showering. Also, the gym has a very bad ventilation system - one cannot even breath properly in the studios: Such as; Spinning Studio, Aerobic Studio (bottom and the top level studios). The lockers are very old, the stairs are very old, the entire gym is very hot - unbearable. Please I would caution you to join this gym, as this is not a welcoming gym. More importantly, you are not getting your money's worth - it is a very expensive gym, but the service is awful!
