UPS somehow lost or misdelivered my package, but Natalia from the support team did a fantastic job of helping me get a reprint, and this time it was delivered with no flaws and in perfect condition. Thank you!
My star map was not delivered due to me "living in a gated community" doesn't make sense. I wasted 50 dollars and as a token of their good graces they would've sent me "free" pdf files (that normally retail at 30) that I could later print on a canvas on my own. I argued with the company for nearly a week before they finally agreed to send me a new star map. Unfortunately issues like these are not priority and the new order was not expedited. No refunds either.

We very much regret the frustration and disappointment that you experienced as a result of the delivery issues faced by USPS and the consequential return to us of your star map.
Once a star map is shipped we rely on the efficiency of the delivery agents which is not always as we would wish it to be. Nevertheless we did provide you with a replacement star map which we are happy to know you subsequently received.
She loves looking at the stars but the night in question on her print there was a heavy snowstorm and we slid into a guardrail doing 40 this knocked our headlights out and we had to stop and buy shoelaces to tie them in so that we could complete the 2 hours left on our journey... she loved the reminder of that night.

My wife said this was her best Valentines Day gift ever. Not bad for 48 years. I like to think it was that good. I think I've done fairly well the other 47 years. It is so beautiful, designs are sharp. Beautiful picture! I love it all. However be careful because it's matted it's easy so scratch and leave a permanent mark on your picture!

Customer service is non-existent. If you have a problem with your package = your are S. O. L. I received my package before Christmas for a present. The box was opened. Come to find out the acrylic was cracked. The shipping company could not refund or help without a response from Under Lucky Stars. Bad, just bad. I've emailed Under Lucky Stars several times with no response. Terrible!

Expect to get have a perfect product or don't expect any help with a return.

We are unable to locate an order or any emails from you. We want you to know that we always replace Star Maps that arrive damaged. There is no need to go through the shipping company, all we need from you is photographs of the damage and, if you have it, photos of the packaging so that we may take up the issue with the shipping company.

It's great and a cool idea however the poster comes in an odd dimensions so you have to order the frame. I bought mine separately and couldn't find a perfect frame
The map i bought looks great. There where so many options that, i had to take a while before i choose mine. It was a fast and safe delivery

They display the sky incorrectly. The skies of every date and every time are flipped along the north-south direction. They all display the sky on a "facing south" orientation, but flip it for some stupid reason. They try to conserve the cardinal directions, but in reality, when you're facing south when looking at the night sky, cardinal west is to your right and cardinal is to your left. It is completely flipped in their version. Their rendering is not truly realistic. Homemade planetariums are more accurate than this. Search up and compare the same dates, locations, and times from this website and https://skyandtelescope.org/interactive-sky-chart/ or https://stellarium-web.org/ This website has it flipped the wrong way. Constellations are so obviously backwards. Plus, I tried to contact them about this issue and tried to find the easy-way-out by telling me they are correct because they use information from the Yale Bright Star Catalog instead of looking into the problem sympathetically.

Regarding what you can see on our star maps, to map the celestial hemisphere, we originally decided to use stereographic projection, as we have found that most historical star charts use it or something very similar, nevertheless, we could have picked any of the dozens of other projection techniques. The point being, choosing a map projection and its parameters is mostly a question of "taste" as well as utilitarian considerations of the map creator.
Based on early feedback on our project, we decided to switch to a different projection aspect. We elected to switch the aspect point to a zenith point above the chosen location because we have found that the mirrored position of cardinal directions is confusing for the eye that is used to North -> East -> South -> West (CW), especially considering how prominent these directions are in our design. With the new aspect, we could keep the "traditional" order that most people are used to on maps of the Earth while keeping the projection factual.
The projection we use is true, but the aspect is different. You can think of it as "the celestial hemisphere looks from above", or, sentimentally put, the view from Heaven. Indeed, not a typical choice of projection.

I bought it for my mom a couple of mother's days ago, and she seemed to appreciate it. The delivery was good; nothing was damaged, and it was on time. Pricing was a little bit too high for my taste, but because of the effort they go through in order for it to be that technical, it does make sense. 10/10 would recommend for any occasion! It is a great keepsake and has a very aesthetic look to it.
I couldn't wait to get this star map. Shipping was fast and it was an even more beautiful in person than I expected!

Everything was as described (actually I thought the map looked even better than on their site). Shipping was fast and their support team were super helpful. Couldn't ask for more.
The idea of the map is a great concept but the quality of the paper doesn't reflect the price (49€ for this size...) and there was delay to get the map... but with a cheap frame (bought myself) it does the trick.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you feel the Star Map itself was expensive. Each Star Map is custom made and printed on high quality paper. We use 240 GSM smooth fine art paper and print at 300 DPI resolution as we believe this gives the best results. Typical poster prints are 120-140 GSM.
For all of these reasons our products cost a little more than the average, but we do not believe in dropping the quality to reduce the price.
