“Their mission here is to spread meaningful content...”

Their mission here is to spread meaningful content far and wide. They do this by showing very interesting videos of interesting points such as These... * Too Many Women Don't Have Fun In Bed. Maybe It's Because Their Partners Never Took This Class? * Ever Hear About The Lady Who Spilled Coffee On Herself At McDonald's, Then Sued For Millions? * A French Film Showing Men What Being A Woman Feels Like Kinda Nails It * A Dude Trying To Ban Abortions Is Asked A Question He Never Considered. It's So Obvious It Hurts.

“Articles they post are designed to be divisive”

There are several issues that would do well to have a balanced take from company such as Upworthy... but their publications incite anger and hate, in a time were people forget to be good to each other and be respectful; that there is substance to each sides disagreement. It's a shame that companies with such influence as Upworthy doesn't strive to do better. To help bring us together, then separate us further apart.

The article about disguising a Bible to look like a Koran was very deceptive. The so-called Bible verses used in that gambit are not found in the Bible. They were cobbled together from bits and pieces and appeared to be extremely gruesome.
This was total dishonesty and the people who read it will be deceived unless they happen to look up the verses for themselves. So either the editors did not fact check or they dont care. The author clearly has an agenda, This is not news and I dont want to see it on AOL.

It's junk. For kids, They should stick to funny odd news but stay away from real topics. Agree with others who say it's clickbait. Saw a vaccine related post with a big graph. The info was way off. Very irresponsible.

Awful terrible clickbate. I hate the fact that they steal content, repost it, and then try to just get ad money. Terrible.

Okay, so it's not really news news, but it is a compilation of real news, social 'news', and really funny crap from the internet that's trending. And they don't overwhelm you with emails or junk mail. Overall - a really well written site :)

Its. All. Click. Bait. Every time I see a link on Facebook to upworthy, a small part of me dies. Why? Because i know ill have to watch a video, stolen from another site, that upworthy is making money from without sharing.
