While their template selection does not offer the same versatility than other pay per month services they are a great choice for small businesses that need an on demand solution for their email marketing.

I have used vertical response both for its nonprofit program, which provides a generous number of free email credits, as well as for a new small business. It's a good product for the cost, and fairly easy to use. My only complaint is that sometimes the site has issues at times of day that have heavy traffic.
