“Excellent idea, Brilliantly Executed”

I have not seen another site that runs like this site does. You just watch videos and a penny will get bumped from the price of the item. In some auctions you may see 60+ so the prices do fall rather quickly. I have seen some items above retail but I believe that is on the costumers. The price is always in the customer's hands. It is fun at times to see how long a large group of people will let something fall before one of them snatch it. I have won 5 items from the site and have always received them promptly. Anyone looking for cheaping gaming currency should do themselves a favor and check out vidfall

“No response from contact.”

Won one of the "auctions" and they charged me double for it. They created 2 shipments. I immediately tried contacting them and no response after days. I have also tried contacting about other issues and no response. There is not a phone number to call, only a web form to fill out that they do not respond to. I do not recommend this site to anyone.

I personally love this company. It's like quibids, but you get bids just for watching video advertisements! You can't lose any money doing it. I have purchased a few things on here (Walmart cards mostly) and delivery is always within 24 hours. Two thumbs up.

I usually don't post reviews, but Vidfall is a great site and they have a caring staff. I saved a lot of money on gift cards which is especially great since I'm a student. As others have stated below, I also received my purchases very quickly. It's definitely a site to check out if you want to save money.

Though I'm spending too much money here lately, this is a cool site with no gimmicks -- unlike a lot of the penny auction sites it resembles. I just wish there were more things to buy! That said, it's easy to get Starbucks, Amazon, and other gift cards for 20% off or more, and they're very easy to apply, especially the Amazon gift cards. Just cut and paste. The service is punctual and polite, and I've had no problems at all -- except when someone grabs something when I wanted to drive the price down further. The ability to accumulate points for views and use them to save a little cash is particularly useful.

Tip for consumers:
If you're going to use your points to push down the price, set up Express Checkout first -- or someone may take advantage of your lower price before you can. And learn to type your password fast!

The basic idea of Vidfall is that a group of people all watch the same item that is for sale, lowering in price as those watching watch video advertisements, until somebody buys the item, and then it moves on to the next item. They sometimes over-value items with "market" prices that are not really market value, but such items usually drop below actual list prices before selling. Nothing ever goes below $0.51 since though, they hard cap the price at $0.51, though it isn't stated anywhere on the site. If nobody chooses to buy an item at $0.51, it will sit there, even as people continue to watch.
There is also a rewards system for the website. It generally equates to 10,000 rewards points being worth $1. Of course, you don't spend them when buying the item, you spend them to lower the price before you buy. Anyone else can snipe it away at sudden price drops like that, so you are required to be quick if you want to take advantage of your own reward points. Additionally, the hard cap on prices is still in effect, but it doesn't give any warning or indication of this. You can easily waste rewards points on an item at the price cap if you are unaware.
The reward system also benefits streaking, signing on and viewing and voting on a sponsored video daily. This system is often bugged though, and is sometimes randomly reset. They say that you can have it restored by contacting their customer support.
The customer service is also pretty atrocious. I have used the site for most of a year, and over that time span, with less than 20 orders, I've had issues with 5 of them. They take an exceptional length of time to get back to any trouble (help chat is almost never online, so you have to resort to offline messaging), and the help is often not very effective. In ordering a Steam key, they gave me a used key, and then on complaining they gave me another used key, then told me that they would look to their supplier to figure the issue out. They never got back to me or refunded me.
Additionally, orders are not quick to be sent. They are often inconsistent in arrival times (somewhat bothersome for selling so many purely digital goods), and have had multiple orders take over a week to arrive, in spite of simply being codes for digital goods.

On top of it all, the site, in spite of priding itself on always having "Live" events, is at this point mostly offline. They used to keep at least one stream going at any given time, throughout the entire day, even if it was just to sell random Steam games. Now, the site has restricted itself to only selling items during sponsored events (and maybe it's a matter of personal preference, but the sponsored events seem to be pretty low quality streams targeted at stereotypical gamers).

Overall, I really want to like Vidfall. I love the idea. The concept has potential. Not with Vidfall though. It is continually failing to meet expectations, and generally a pain to use.
Pros:
-Good Idea
-Sometimes good deals
-Has a rewards system
Cons:
-Very bad customer service
-High rate of order problems
-Slow delivery time, even for digital goods
-Buggy rewards system
-Prone to auction sniping
-Unlabeled minimum price cap
-Lack of content outside minimal sponsored events

Excellent customer service. I have never seen another site with this business model. A bit like some penny auction sites, however you can't lose money. With more users this site is going to blow. Looks like this site could be special.

Reliable and trustworthy. I've purchased several giftcards and they always arrive within 24 hrs. Once, I purchased a $50 Starbucks card and there was an error in the card number I received. I contacted Vidfall and they remedied the problem in less than an hour. Even included $5 extra as a consolation. Will use vidfall again. Thx.

I tried this website for three months. Lets just say, its a great idea, but poorly executed. After I hit the 2month mark on my streak bonus, my bonus was lost. After contacting their offline chat, and waiting nearly a week, they finally got back to me. After some talking with one another, they flagged my account to get my streak back.

Now, the problem was why it was lost. Apparently in order to keep your streak going, you have to actually tweet once a day as well. A fact that is advertised No where on the site. Whats worse is the only way to actually do this portion of the daily bonus, is to wait around until a video shows up that you can click on to actually do a tweet.

After getting my streak back in a few days, I had more problems. 10 days latter my streak was lost yet again. This time, due to an unknown problem. I tried contacting live support, but it was horrible.

First of all, when I opened the chat and said something, nothing happened. I sat there waiting, and finally someone actually showed up. Not once was I informed that I was in any queue waiting for someone to come by. After I finally got them, they kept leaving the chat periodically and coming back. Finally, the chat ended with them saying I would have it reset. Then nothing. They just left. I had more questions, mostly concerning the non advertised twitter requirement. I never did receive that reset.

Next, the "retail" price of some of their crowd deals. They mark them up, big time in some cases. I could walk into a store and literally buy a funko pop figure for less then what they advertise at times.

Then you have the time vs reward ratio. It Sucks. Weather you watch a 1minute long video in their cooking section, or a 3min + video in the games or entertainment section, you will only be getting 1 token. It will also only ever reduce the price by 1 cent. Regardless of the time spent.

In short, its not all that great and really needs some work. They really need to improve their customer service big time.
