Vernon BC Hotels

My family and I booked two rooms in the Village Green Hotel in Vernon B. C. Canada. We stayed here for two days and found out a bunch of nasty things. The website is misleading. The website looks so nice and the hotel itself doesn't. The hotel has these pet friendly rooms on the first floor and a dog leash park in back. Every pet friendly room has a small patio and leads out to the small dog leash park. I opened the blinds and this woman walking her dog back there was looking in from a short distance. Nothing is private here. In the upstairs bathroom the hair dryer had a bunch of long hair on it. There is no laundry. If you want to do laundry you have to go a block away. The indoor pool smells moldy and has dead bugs in it. The fountain outside in the courtyard is dirty. No kitchen downstairs. Tiny kitchen upstairs. For my brother's birthday we bought a ice cream cake for him and stuck it in the freezer. Went out for a walk and when we came back it was almost melted and the room door downstairs rubs on the floor so we have to push hard to open it. This website is misleading. Please do not do business with these people.
