I went to visionworks in Taylors,SC, to see if they could repair my son's glasses which the puppy took outside and mangled. They were friendly and acknowledged my entrance; my glasses were given to the manager, Kevin, who examined them and said he would try his best to repair them. He worked on them with different tools for a long time and did a fantastic job! I was so pleased! And did not even charge me--amazing! This is The Best shop for glasses I have ever found or used. Great job, Kevin!

I bought a pair of prescription glasses. When the Salesperson asked me wether I wanted a lenses that would scratch or not? I told her that I wanted the lense that would not scratch! She took it upon herself to write down the total opposite of my preferred choice! In less than 3 months, I have a pair of glasses that are unfit to wear and they say that I did not pay for lenses that would not scratch?!?! They are liars! Do not mess with these idiots!

It was a very disappointing experience working with Dr. Chang and Dr. Lee at Vision Works Garden City. They don't care about you or have any patience at all, they just want your money.

Dr.chang did not check my eyes for contacts and used the same prescription as my glasses which was also taken from my previous prescription. During the follow up visit, I mentioned that I was not able to see with contacts at all. Dr. Lee replied that contact lenses are not as good as eyeglasses, and you would not be able to see letters, and you can leave because I have another patient to see. If this is the case, then what is the point of getting new contacts in the first place?

It is only Shelly who is good in that office, she is very experienced and polite, and she is very good at her job. As a matter of fact, Shelly asked Dr. Chang a question: "Are you going to change the prescription?".

Obviously, this is not my first experience with Vision works, but it is clear that they do not care about clients at all. All of their locations have employees who are unprofessional, and they never fix the problem.

I took my mother in September of '23 for new glasses and they were running a buy one, get one free special so we opted for that. Well, the first pair came within a few weeks but no sign of the second pair. I've lost track of the number of times I have called (both the store and now the customer service line) and have gone to the store in person at least twice. The customer reps have been pleasant and are trying to help. The "territory director" has not bothered to call me back even after me calling to escalate three times now. It has now been 5 months and I do not have what I ordered.

Yesterday I had the honor of dealing with the store manager, Darissa Cunat.
She was the best person I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with, and because of her l will make Visionwoks my 'go to' store for all things related to my eyesight. She had the patience of a saint and made several phone calls to make sure that my insurance company was doing all it was supposed to do on my behalf.

On Friday, Mar 17,2023 my son and I had our last exam at the Visionworks in Seekonk, MA. At the end of that appointment I made appointments for the following year for Monday Mar 18,2024; for which I received an immediate text confirmation. At the beginning of Mar, not remembering this appointment, I sent a calendar reminder for myself, for Sunday Mar 10,2024 to try and schedule annual exams, for my son and myself. On Sunday Mar 10,2024, when accessing my phone and computer, to schedule an appointment, I discovered the existing appointment, eventually discovering a pair of text messages sent Monday Mar 4,2024 to confirm our Mar 18,2024 appointments. I immediately confirmed and received a reply of receipt of my confirmation. As a single parent with a very busy job who gets many, many text messages per day, it is not uncommon for some to be overlooked. On Monday Mar 11,2024 I received two text messages confirming both appointments, for my son and I, on Monday Mar 18,2024. Knowing this was coming, I arranged to take time off work, and arranged my schedule to be able to take the time off. On Thursday Mar 14,2024 at 5:19 pm I received a call from the Visionworks Seekonk office informing me that my appointments had been given to someone else. When I asked why I was given a very disappointing excuse regarding poor computer automated scheduling systems. It was offered to "try" and contact the individuals to whom my appointments were given to "try" and correct the situation. I expressed that try doesn't help me when I've already made arrangements and "try" doesn't guarantee anything. I ended the conversation and contacted Visionworks customer service to submit a complaint. After completing the complaint, I reviewed my text messages and discovered the pair of text messages from Visionworks on Monday, Mar 11,2024 confirming the Monday Mar 18,2024 appointments. I again contact the Visionworks in Seekonk, MA expressing additional displeasure with the contradiction of a cancelled appointment and confirmation text messages. The customer service representative, who identified herself as Shea, in a very condescending manner, again blamed the poor computer scheduling system. I expressed my position that, since this was the fault of their scheduling system, I believed the correct course of action would be to contact the individuals to whom my appointments were given, explain the error and return the appointments to me; not "try" to get the individuals to give up their appointments. Shea claimed that she never said "try" rather that she would (an inaccurate claim). I accepted her assurances that the situation would be corrected however, prior to ending the phone call Shea stated "I'll see what I can do"; a statement which I informed here did not leave me with much confidence. She called me back at 6:46 pm Thursday Mar 14,2024 and informed me that my son's appointment had been restored but, that she was waiting to hear back from the other individual concerning my appointment. At this point I have no assurance that I'll get complete resolution and do not understand why I do not simply get my appointment back leaving the notification of the other individual to follow. This entire situation is very disappointing, from the way which customer service handled the error to the unsatisfactory "one missed text and my appointments are given away". At the VERY least there should have been at least one other attempt to contact me. Visionworks needs to correct what is clearly a serious problem with their scheduling system. Regardless of the final outcome, I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future, and ensuring I relate my problem to as many others as possible in the hopes others can avoid such a fiasco.

Absolutely no personal effort made by the receptionist to make eye contact, speak clearly, be clear about what I was to expect, what charges would not be covered by my insurance, and then, accept responsibility for her shortcomings in all of the above when there was clearly a misunderstanding upon checkout. Optometrist was great. Too bad one of her team members out front was so impersonal it tainted the experience to the point I won't come back!

The young lady was very helpful. I always have a hard time deciding which frames. She helped me in every step of the way. I just can't say enough nice things of the help I received. You can't get this type of service on-line. I am so glad they have a structure you can go to.

I bought glasses the RX was changed twice I asked for refund they keep telling me after 2 months well a check was processed but no check number or reference number a big run around

Visions Works seems to be more interested in price not quality of products or service
When asked about products over the phone they won't give info and dismiss questions but will mention price mainly

This is the last time myself or anyone in my family will ever go there again. The doctors write the wrong prescriptions, they are impossible to get a hold of,, they are always taking off. After 4 return visits, my prescription was still wrong. In addition, you can be on hold for 30 minutes before a message comes on to have you leave your telephone number for them to call you back. Which of course never happens. The are incompetent and unprofessional.

Visionworks does not stand behind their glasses, at all! Every time I had any problems I would get the run around and just a simple adjustment & cleaning, instead of actually correcting the problem! The lenses are finished improperly, according to an expert! Very inferior quality eye wear! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR GLASSES!

Under no circumstances, go to Vision Works! Terrible customer service!

I have been going to this place for 8 years. The first pair of glasses fit terrible. I reordered Ray Ban glasses. They defiantly were over priced. I can believe, I couldn't get one person to get off their $#*! and help Me. The customer service was shameful. I would rather go to another, eye glass place, then go back here. The last time I will, buy glasses here. Poor quality frames, cheap over priced

Bought my glasses less than a year ago, bow broke and I brought them back to Visionworks and they told me I had to go to Pearl Vision to get it replaced. I got in contact with Visionworks Customer Service via email and was told someone from that location would be in contact with me...well still waiting!

First impression. 15 minutes late for 10 am appointment. Office was locked until 10:15. I waited another 15 minutes before I was greeted by anyone. Telehealth from rude doctors! Overcharged $400 at checkout (was corrected before I left). Picked up glasses when quoted. I returned after 3 days - wrong prescription - told it was my fault. Rude customer service. I am still trying to get a pair of glasses that work!

After waiting 5 hours to finish first visit,then waiting 4 weeks with no call back to pick up,we went in and they were there.The prescription was wrong and had to come back for another exam and wait again to get my glasses that were wrong again.
They gave me my glasses without my Nike case they came with and gave me a vision works case.
600 dollars and I'm done with them.im taking them to another eye doctor to have it done right.
They owe me a case and 600 as far as I'm concerned.
And don't try calling because Noone answers.
So disappointed and disgusted.

Went 5-10-23 at 12:30 pm in the Sioux Falls SD empire mall location to get my glasses adjusted and my customer service was absolutely awful I felt like I was bothering the 2 girls working there.I have always had good service over the years but this time I would have fired them on the spot. I would have liked to have ordered a new pair but I ended up walking out and will either go somewhere else or go another day when my usual guy is there. They really knew as I walked out I wasn't happy with my service

I squeduled 2 appointments for my wife and my self, hers was fine, none showed for me, they said will squeezed me in. I asked who did the appointment I was told there was no record, should have been quick, took over an hour in something that should have been in and out! If you can't better educate employees then maybe new employees will work better. Or maybe time to try another company, time is money and you cost me to miss another appointment because your lack of scheduling properly. Great doctor and why I keep comming back!

I got a new pair of glasses in late Jan first of march one lens cracked from the side to just above the bi-focal line took them back but they would not fix them told me I could by a new one I was told it didn't leave here like that of course it didn't but I guess the quality of the lens are just cheep but my family of three and 90 employees that I work with will never use vision works ever again so my little broken lens we will go somewhere else with our buis.

Visionworks attempted to adjust my new pogressive eye glasses but couldn't get the focus right, which caused dizziness and headache. Per Visionworks, if your glasses aren't perfect, they will fix them. Guaranteed. It turned out, they couldn't fix the problem and we had to keep it with no exchange or refund.

My daughter had appt that workers gave me info she could attend alone at 16 as I was working. Wen she got there with 30 yr old brother. Refused to see her without me and was extremely rude to 16 yr. Old she spends $210 every 3 months there for her contacts. Due to the disrespect given to my daughter and her 30 yr old brother they just lost quite a bit of money she will not return nor will myself or my other 3 kids. People if u don't like ur damn job get another one or learn how to respect your customers.

I spent $1200+ on Nov 16 for 3 pairs of glasses. On Dec 8 I went in to pick up my 3 sets to find only 1 had arrived, with no clue where the other 2 were. They reordered both missing pairs. 1 1/2 weeks later I received a text that 3 sets of glasses were being shipped to me. I received 2 sets, one that was originally missing, and a duplicate of the set I had originally picked up in the store. I have yet to receive my sunglasses as of Dec 30th. What an inept lab and company. How they are still in business is a complete puzzle…

My appointment was at 4:45pm. I came early and ask receptionist if they could see me sooner. Finished paperwork and was waiting for an hour. No one was there, she took 1 hour to put my paperwork in by that time scheduled appointments started to come in. Waste of time
