FACTS
1. I initiated an order which they placed on hold due to pending documents I did not provide.
2. Same day I tried to cancel the order but no option is given for cancellation.
3. Same day I sent them email asking them to cancel the order.
4. A week later they charged my card.
Is it all by an innocent mistake or calculated to steal money?
I have asked them twice already to refund me, and delete my records.
No response yet, I am expecting they will charge my card again.

I moved and needed lost birth, marriage and divorce records to obtain a new driver's license for the state. I was immediately overwhelmed by the thought of standing in long lines, crowded rooms and waiting weeks for the certificates to arrive and as a handicapped person the task was daunting.

I decided to check the internet to see if Vital check was online and to my surprise they were so I filled out all the information by checking the boxes, submitting my fee and voila done. Not only is the information easy to fill out but the process was pretty fast then my certificates were at my door within a few days. What a lifesaver Vital Check is and I highly recommend utilizing this easy online service for obtaining any vital records.

Although this is the only company "trusted" by our government to send out the documents we need, it seems to have a monopoly on how to "technically"? Deliver vital statistics that I ordered. I requested on July 27th for an actual birth certificate, for identification purposes, just received it today, it's august 12th now. What did I get instead? 3x copies, although still being certified by the county of "certificate of live birth" does anyone actually know the difference? It's not a "slight" difference, it makes a difference when trying to get "proof" of identity to an apartment, or as a supportive document needed for a driver's license or passport. But? Is it really that big of a deal? When people order fries, when working a burger joint, do you hand them a shake? When people give you $55 to expedite next day ups air, also requiring a signature at the house requesting such an order of a specific single document that is actually necessary at times to gain access to different forms of identification. Do you make them "wait and see" and hope they don't know the difference between "the sky, and the ground" or? "What difference does it make"? As if the people who order the products and the people who send the products are the "Same people"? No! Because those sitting in the offices sending the products actually get paid to do the "work" of getting the correct products sent! I might as well have sat in the offices sending myself the birth certificate so I could get the right results. But I don't work there..

Order arrived less than a week after placed. This is a great service. I highly recommend. Will definitely use again.

It cost more than I wanted it to, but VitalChek got me what I needed faster than the folks who should have called me when my friend passed.

Quick easy service. Used it twice with no hassle. If you can't find important documents like marriage certificate or birth certificate, this is a great service.

The website was very user friendly the process was easy to check out the only thing I didn't like was the extra fees that I had to pay just to get the birth certificate which was only about $12 I ended up paying almost $30 total but I got it also in a very timely manner so ultimately I got what I needed and got it fast so therefore it's a five star thank you

My experience was excellent. Applied for a copy of my Birth Certificate form a county website but somehow got transferred to the state records website and they linked me to Vitalchek.

After the first hiccup, asking me for another copy of my ID, I started reading the reviews and worrying if I'd ever get what I asked for and paid for. I figured if the state trusts them to do this, I'll just go with it.

I uploaded a picture of my ID and within 2 days I had the copies in my hand. I couldn't ask for better service!

Title says it all. Poor customer service. You'll wait for at least an hour on hold before anyone picks up. After sometime their own site wouldn't show me the progress of my order… buyer beware.

This company scam they didn't get my license so I can get a passport don't use these people they will have u waiting

I tried this service not knowing if it was going to be fast and secure. I filled in the form and decided to pay a little extra for UPS delivery. I received my birth certificate within a week. Very happy with the service.

One of the worst businesses. First, they charged me a finders fee for an order that was never placed, and after I finally placed an order it's been SEVEN weeks for it to be processed. Even worse as they said it could take up to 9 weeks just for processing. What is the point of paying all that money for them to spend 2 and a half months doing nothing? Horrible company with horrible customer support.

Simple process. Up to date notices. Has a "real" phone # with "real customer service. Had to call and edit info, easy and competent representatives.

No issues ordering what I needed on the site, and received it in a timely matter. Will use it again in the future if needed. I hope this was helpful

I needed a certified copy of my birth certificate ASAP to obtain a new driver's license after my wallet had been stolen. I received my certified birth certificate within 4 days of ordering online.

I would give a zero if possible. Vitalchek was useless. Charged me their fee for nothing! They sent back emails saying they needed new documentation due to me ordering my birth certificate in a different name. They actually said my notarized signature didn't match. They expected me to get my maiden name that's on my birth certificate notarized. All my ID is in my married name and has been for years! How is this even logical?They would not answer my question about how to get that done. They just keep sending back a message stating I did it wrong. Do not use this company!
