The customer service department is totally amazing. Ordered some yarn from them and needed to exchange it for a different color way and, without any problems, was able to do this for me. There flat rate shipping is a wonderful thing when you are one yarn ball or more than one. The quality of this type of yarn is of the highest that I have come across. Just a wonderful place to deal with.

Web site claimed to ship within a week. I understand my order was placed just after the holidays, but the info in the web site wasn't updated to show a different shipping schedule. Tried to contact company twice and never heard back. Poor customer service. Took 25 days to receive my order. I asked once if they had store hours for people to come and buy direct from them... never heard back. I only live a few short hours away and would have loved to drive there and shop in person.

Heather Malone runs this site. Doesn't respond to any emails messages Facebook posts or phone calls. Took my money I saved and never delivered. I've been trying to cancel my order and get a refund with no luck. She's a thief and a poor business woman and it reflects poorly on the company that makes the yarn and actually delivers. Save your time and money don not order from this website.

They say to allow 7 days to ship on their site. It's almost been a month, and I've received no email or any sort of notification that my order is on its way. I've tried to contact the company, but it is useless. This yarn is very expensive, and I would like my money back if I'm not getting my yarn. I recommend going to etsy for this type of yarn. There are many sellers there who will actually ship you your order, unlike Wolltraum USA. I actually had a good experience the first time I ordered. I don't know what happened to this company.

Very Bad Place to BY Yarn! Take your money and leave you holding the bag with 0 Product.
I bought 3 times and the first time they acted normal and sent the product, then the second time they took over a month and I had to get on to them to send me my yarn and finally they did, Now I've got another order in and it is 31 days and still no yarn! I am a very disgruntled person after trying to give this company another chance. My Opinion is that they are a Dishonest Company! I will have to go to PayPal and complain!

I contacted this company of April 29th with a simple question about ordering. It's may 6th and they STILL have not gotten back to me. After multiple attempts at communication my last resort was to leave a post on their facebook page. Obviously it wasn't a happy, or pleased message. It was deleted in minutes. So they can sensor their facebook page damn near instantly, but can't answer a simple question in 8 days. I've since ordered from a different company who responded to me almost immediately, hand dyed my order, and had it shipped in 2 days. Do business with Wolltraum at your own risk.

I ordered on July 19th, sent 2 emails requesting order status and had to involve Rita in Switzerland to get a response from Heather Mellon... Two lies later, I'm still waiting for a response her and find through her FB page she is closing the shop...
Please order your yarn through Crazy Heart Strings as they offer amazing customer service...

Placed an order over 4 weeks ago- no idea of shipment or expected delivery date. No replies to multiple emails and Facebook messages. Zero communication or support.

Ordered on August 3rd, no response to email, voicemail is full. She promised she would ship by the end of the week on her facebook page. She never did ship, but could find the time to delete my facebook comments and to block me from her page. I got my money back by filing a case with paypal. She did not respond to their inquiries either so my money was refunded in full.

Heather is a dishonest businesswoman who takes your money but will not deliver as promised and it's been over a month now. Doesn't answer inquiries for an order status or a refund. She has posted a deplorable excuse on her facebook page over the weekend. Save your money and sanity and stay away!

I made my order in early May it's now June 30th no contact from supplier! I've sent numerous emails and messages to no avail! How do people get away with this!

I placed my order with Wolltraum USA in late June. As per the site, I waited the 10-12 days for a shipping notice... nothing came. I emailed the seller, Heather Mellon... no response. I sent messages on Facebook... no response. I even put a comment on one of her very recent posts... you guessed it, no response.

I finally reached out to Wolltraum CH, who is Heather's supplier. Rita was amazing and responded immediately, also reaching out to Heather to get her to update me. It took another 2 days and 2 emails from Rita before Heather responded. To her credit, she was nice enough, but over the next week and a half she gave me nothing but excuses and lies about when my order was going out, claiming "technical difficulties"... whatever that meant. I finally demanded a refund, and as soon as I did she stopped responding completely. I've filed a dispute with my bank.

The yarn looks amazing, and if you're going to order it PLEASE go through Rita at the Wolltraum CH website. I don't know what Heather's problem has become, but all she's doing now is stealing money and scamming customers.

My delivery took several weeks to get to me but I do understand that when a sale is going on they would receive lots of orders. I was disappointed that such expensive yarn would be just thrown in the box and not put in a plastic bag or something similar to keep it from getting dirty or wet in transit.

After placing an order on May 11,2017, paid for the order, received confirmation containing a shipping date of within 7 days, to date I have not received the product. Emails and messages asking for status were not responded to. Posts on her Facebook pages were deleted. Finally after filing a dispute on the charge with my bank, a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and posting the business pages on my Facebook page with a shop at risk warning and stating my intent to file a complaint with the FTC, I received notice on June 25,2017 that a refund was issued. We'll see if that is true, it has not shown up on my account yet.

She apparently accepted payments on orders in May but did not place an order with her supplier until late June. She is now posting excuses insinuating it is the suppliers fault. Its not true.

There are other suppliers of Wolltraum yarn that ship to the U.S. who are reputable and deliver as promised. I intend to place an order with one of them when my payment is finally refunded.

Stay away from Wolltraum USA and its owner, Heather Mellon. I don't know if she's incredibly inefficient or intentionally delaying orders for which she has been paid, but this experience has been frustrating and time consuming.

Edit added: On 6/27 the refund cleared my bank. It is my understanding she has expressed the intention of improving her service, not to me but to others. I hope so, but I will never take the chance of ordering from her again.

I contacted my bank to dispute the charge and filed a complaint with the Connecticut Better Business Bureau. They sent my complaint to her today, so we'll see. Also, contact the parent company, www.wolltraum.com, they have a link to contact them, I received a response from them right away.

Incidentally I did receive an email from Heather 10 minutes after I posted in a group on Facebook this morning, the post is now gone but I think that spurred her to respond to an email I sent a week ago. With a vague ship date of next Monday.

ETA Not sure what happened here, this review removed my earlier complaint. Which was: Ordered 5/12, no yarn, no response to communications requesting status other than one email on 5/30 that shipping should be Monday, which never occurred.

I've place orders with wolltraum usa on the past. First two order were great the third left a bad taste in my mouth. Took a month and a half to receive my order. But PLEASE PLEASE anyone interested in wolltraum do not let this reseller sway you from this amazing yarn. There are two other usa resellers who are amazing and have a quick turn around. Dawn with Crazy heart strings and Brandi with my melodyy by wolltraum on etsy are legit and honest sellers. I have never waited even two weeks from an order from either of them. I hate to see such a great company being dismissed because of one bad apple. When in doubt order direct from wolltraum at wolltraum.ch. The owner is amazing and ships world wide.

I placed an order on 25 July, its 22 August, and I still have yet to receive. I emailed them, and got a reply on 7th August saying that it has been sent. But still... *Note, the person who replied me was "Linda Mellon" I realize that the rest of you have been liasing with "Heather Mellon" so... to me, this is a definite scam!

I placed an order for one ball of yarn on July 7th, it is August 12th and I have not received anything from this company. I emailed them over a week ago and no response. I just filed a claim with my credit card company.

I placed my order on May 12 with an estimated shipping time being 10-12 days. I patiently waited 2 weeks and then began to worry that it wouldn't make it in time before I moved.

I checked the status of my order on the website. It showed "Unfulfilled". Using the contact us link on the site, I sent an email inquiring when it would be shipped and if my shipping date could be changed to the new address. I received no reply.

The day after I moved (18 days since I ordered), I sent another email, again asking for a shipping date and to change the address. This time I received an email back from Heather telling me my order would "ship on Monday". She however does not mention the shipping address. I emailed her back 15 minutes after she sent her reply asking her to confirm the address. No response.

I wait through to the next Friday and have no package. I check the status online, no change. This time I sent a message through the Facebook page. Again laying out the whole scenario, how I'd been ogling the yarn for months and finally had the money to order some, pleading for Heather to let me know what was going on.

The Facebook page said "typically responds immediately". I know from my own business page on Facebook that you really have to reply quickly consistently for it to say that. I was hopeful that contacting through a different medium would have a better outcome. Nope. Nothing.

I've since sent another email and tagged Heather Mellon personally in a post calling her out in a crochet group that we are both in. (It was almost immediately removed) I've still heard nothing.

Tomorrow marks 6 weeks since I placed my order. 42 days. 4 times longer than what promised. And still no yarn. No contact in 22 days. I'm at my wits end as to what to do. Who to report her to. How to get my money or my yarn.

Gosh, I sure wish I would have read these reviews before placing my order. It has been a month and I haven't received my yarn. What a drag - I really wanted that yarn. I did pay through Paypal, so maybe I will get a refund.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I placed my order in April. I or during a free shipping promo. It said shipping in 7-10 days. My order confirmation said shipping in 7-10 days. Weeks later, all forms of contact went unanswered and I had no product. Thank goodness I paid with PayPal. I opened a claim with them, and I finally got a response from Heather. She said it said all over the site 12-14 days shipping.it was well past that, and your order confirmation is YOUR contract! No explanation for not answering emails. She said she had to hand make the yarn and had a lot of orders... Riiight... I told her I would not close the PayPal claim until I either had my $110 back, or my product. She sent me a shipping confirmation and tracking, but it was not mailed for another 3 days! Never, ever again!

I ordered yarn back in May of 2017 and have yet to receive it, 146.00 worth. I have made many email and Facebook requests and Heather Mellon has yet to respond! We are going to file a police report with the Oakville, CT police dept., report her to the BBB and file a small claims report. Anyone want to join us? LMK!
