Just had a really horrible experience when we wanted to terminate at the end of the 3 year contract. The contract that you sign for the printing itself has its own set of terms and conditions that we should have obtained online, this is where all the extra charges are detailed when you decided to leave them. Long story short we had to pay £499.99 delivery of the rubbish second hand machine back to them 58 miles away plus another £150 cleansing charge, both plus VAT! I would not use this supplier again if you paid me. Happy to be free of them.

They sold my husband a deal, you can cancel any time. Yes naive but total liars. DO NOT USE.

Brilliant service as per usual. Used XBM for over 5 years! We have had bothing but great service from friendly staff!

The business model is to buy a printer at 400/500 quid and ‘include free printing' for 5 years at a fixed monthly cost. You end up spending and wasting £1000s of money. They rip off charities, lock people into contracts and show no loyalty or respect to clients they have. Absolute disgrace of a company.

1 star is far too good for this company. If I could give it a zero star rating then I would.

Firstly, I recommend before joining XBM that you go and read their trust pilot reviews. My review was flagged as false but within 12 hours was verified as being real and was kept on the page. I see many comments claiming all others are former staff but they are not.

All was okay with this company until our contract ended and we wanted to leave due to finding a cheaper contract elsewhere. This was when they started to add all sorts of ludicrous fees on top which included £900 + for a collection fee and data cleanse that was not even going to be done by their company.

Once I argued these away I was then given another £900+ leaving fee and this was because they decided without consent to sign us into a new contract and without providing us with a copy. This was because they used another leasing company and made sure the dates ended at separate times so we had no choice but to stay with XBM for a further few months.
When asked to break this payment down we were not given solid answers, our bills suddenly started to leap up without explanation. Whilst we were discussing the leaving fee they decided to take the money from the account without consent and without prior notification. Once this happened they even continued to take money until we removed the direct debit mandate so that they could not do this. The last money will be returned but the excoriate and illegal "leaving fee" they are still adamant they deserve to keep. We are seeking legal action against them but in the meantime we want to make others aware of how this company behaves. Had I read trust pilot first, I would NEVER have signed with them. So many better companies

I was belittled, denied services we were paying for and treated very badly by customer service including derogatory remarks

While finding a new company, I found DEOS and their customer service was impeccable and they completely beat the prices by far.

I do not recommend signing up with this company, they seem lovely until you try to leave which is when they turn nasty and try to get as much money from you as possible.

The machine we were given was 5+ years old by the time the contract was ending it was very old and broke weekly. We had to wait days for an engineer to come and was even made to fix it myself at times despite paying for maintenance.

The price of prints also went up dramatically. Once we gave notice we had people calling to convince us to stay but by this point the damage was done and even the "free periods" we were being offered were not worth it due to having to stay.

All this while in a pandemic too.

After reading their reviews I found it has happened before but they are claiming each and every one is a former college. Well, I am a customer with lots of evidence to prove it.

If you don't want hundreds and hundreds to be illegally taken from your business account then stay as far away as you can.

If you're looking for a scam artist to provide your office/ business printer needs... you came to the right place!

Aside from the terrible customer service and extortionate call out charges... the contract has to be one of the worst things about this company...

Unless you practice law, you probably won't read/ understand most of the T&C's - this will leave you in a position to be ROLLED OVER FOR ANOTHER YEAR after your contract ends.

Not only are the company completely unreasonable when it comes to this term (which we discovered under 2 weeks into our newly rolled contract) - they charge almost double the contract to pick the machine up.

It's also worth noting that if you DO NEED urgent customer service, the process is as follows;
- Ring XBM and speak to advisor
- Advisor advises you an advisor will call you back to advise
- Advisor calls back the next day to advise you that an advisor was not available to advise you that your advisor was ringing the next day to advise... please hold.

I could go on and on about my unpleasant experience with this company, but it actually depresses me that XBM have affected my thoughts to the point of leaving this scathing review.

Machine provided - 5/10 - had a lot of problems over the year.

Also seems the manager based in the Birmingham branch as been arrested. For fraudulent activity with contracts, no doubt the directors was fully aware, avoid before you get scammed like we did.

I was misinformed from the very start and to say they have caused my care company massive financial strain and me a huge amount of stress is an understatement. I am now having to use a legal advisor to try and get this put right.
Back in 2018 I was told that I would be paying a set amount for printing and that I would be making a monthly saving of at least £50 and the cost of any prints over the set amount would be capped for 5 years, I would also own the printer outright but could continue a service agreement with XBM.
ALL COMPLETE LIES. The cost went up in less than a year and no response when asked why, and the information that I was told from the sales rep that worked for XBM is all lies and he made it all up without getting it agreed by the director ( so it's not their fault!) I was told to pay the printer off and a collection fee of £450 plus a cleansing fee of £150 + VAT and as I was really not happy about this I was then offered a 15% discount and then told to pay over £1800 plus pay the machine off that cost just under £2000 to get out of the contract and they will collect the machine (that should belong to me) free of charge and cleanse it free of charge, what a joke!
Now I am receiving bills typed in red!

Xbm have been fantastic to work with. The below reviews have been written by an ex sales person. XBM has gone from strength to strength and been around for over 11 years!
