Tried to create listing... website gives server error. I then EMAIL > they say I need to CALL and give a number > I call and that number says... sorry wrong department, CALL this number > I call and they say. Sorry you need to EMAIL... finally I get someone to make a listing for me. Then I ask how I can update it and manage it on my own... oh that's a different department to do that you need > CALL another number.

Company called Fuzzy at a home Veternarian
Service. I feel not reputable company. Had my cat have a first exam by there visiting Vet, you had no card, no scale. My cat I believe was given a Rabbies shot. These is required that animal owners have proof in case of an injury. Vet said it would be sent to me but never was. The visit 9/2019 and I have called many times. Today, 5/15/20 in order to ask a question about this I had to pay $5.00!. The trick was get you to join. I asked to remove this amount and I was told I couldn't ask a question. By law I believe I must have a certificate as proof. They said they don't give out that paperwork. What type of legitimate company is this. I would never use them

Can't believe this pushy advertising business is still around, still pushing. When trying to cancel at the end of our contract, they kept saying 'but we are indexed on Google' and 'you will lose business if you cancel'... give me a break... get someone who knows their stuff, not a pushy salesman (or woman). GO AWAY!

This is a company that would lies and tricking you into doing business then they don't delivered what they promised. Once I discovered what they did to my business account they stopped contacting me then have the nerve to send me to collection when they actually over charged me of over $20k. Even their attorney is also unprofessional. She would return my phone calls after she realized that her client truely indeed owe me the money. Make sure you don't fall in the trap like all of us did.

I have advertised with YP for almost 50 years. This will be the last year they get my money. They oversell a product that is worthless. Their reps are just like any other sales person nothing but hot air and empty promises. Once they get your ad done for the year you're hung out to dry doing any kind of problem solving on your own. Speaking to customer service is a big joke... you would get better service talking to a robot. Save your time, money and energy and advertise somewhere else. There are just way to many options out there to that are so much better.

The Thryve people took an Electric Company's phone number and routed it to my phone so it would show that I was receiving a larger volume of calls through their site. Being that we deal with electricity as well, it took a while to figure the plot out. Very sneaky Thryve!

My Family has been a loyal customer of YP for close to 50 years but over the years it has gone down hill super fast. They placed the wrong phone number in the book and the rep himself said I tried calling and it said disconnected after telling him before publication the new number. After a very long conversation with the customer service reps they told us they would offer the smallest discount ever that was Penny's to the dollar on how much my business would lose to their mistake. And then got another rep that jumped on and immediately told me you better be glad that was even offered because I would have given you nothing. So after this they will not be getting our business. They're WAY to many other options out there that give me more clear and precise reads of tracking my business marketing that YP is just unable to do at this point anymore they are becoming so obsolete.

YP has the wrong address for my business, but made it impossible to correct it. When I wouldn't purchase advertising from them, they refused to fix the address. Then they proceeded to spam call me up to 5 times per day with different obnoxious salespeople. I had to block their number because they refused to stop. Address is still incorrect.

A coworker was contacted by YP and became interested in advertising there. I asked why a potential customer would search for services on a special website rather than just using Google. She said she wasn't sure, but we would be guaranteed a certain number of calls for a reasonable introductory price. I agreed to give it a try.

During a month of advertising there, we received 0 phone calls. As we were getting ready to cancel the service, I went on their website and it showed about 60-70 people had supposedly tried to call us through the service, including some on that very day. Since it showed their phone numbers, I tried calling them. Every single one was a disconnected number!

They are liars don't ever get tricked into this scam of a company, We are a small family business and W a sales person named David Sandoval that kept constantly calling me and I didn't answer the phone so he called my business partner and told her I was rude to him so she scheduled him a meeting with me to hear his pitch, since he was so insisting saying we would be #1 in google we decided to give this company the benefit of the doubt since David Sandoval said that we could cancel after the first month. He gave my business partner an iPad to pay for the first month payment and asked for her to sign, and turns out it was a contract saying we can't cancel, 15 days later we realized we were being scammed since we did not receive any business from this company and kept getting weird calls pertaining to other things that have nothing to do with our business, I called David Sandoval and he said we can not cancel the contract and I said what contract we never signed a contract with you an he emailed me the contract that he illegally got my business partner to sign by tricking her into thinking she was just signing to give a payment. 4 months into this dispute the company never answers my emails or when I call they say I can't cancel, this is the biggest scam I have ever been tricked into. I hope they burn in hell for tricking small businesses and robbing them of their hard earned money.

You will not get what you pay for with internet advertising with YP. They charge a ridiculously high fee and then never change what you ask them to - the ad just sits there with no one monitoring it. It took me YEARS to get the nerve up to cancel with them - one year they had to refund most of my internet advertising money because it was proven they did nothing to market my company. DO NOT PUT YOUR INTERNET ADVERTISING IN THE HANDS OF YP!

I did not receive a notice or contract agreement by mail and the price went up. This year I did receive a notice and it took at least 5 minutes to my local yellow page ad discontinued. Its like they wanted to do everything possible to make it harder to remove my listing. And then I had to agree to complete the payments for the previous year before "by recorded conversation" before they would allow me to remove the listing.

We build IN GROUND custom pools and met with Christopher Romaine from YP who told us how great this would be for our company. Well all we kept getting were calls for ABOVE ground pools. We kept asking Christopher what is going on? He assured us the problem would be taken care of, well, it never was. Everything he promised us to get our business never happened. We told them we want to discontinue services with YP because we got zero results from it. Never heard back from him. Now there trying to sue our sister company who never did business with them and they have paper work where they forged the owners name. We never signed anything!

AWFUL! My experience with Yellow Pages (YP Solutions) was awful! The sales person essentially told me I would be completing approximately 10-12 jobs a month if I signed-up with Yellow Pages, so I did in June of 2017. I never received a single job in the 5 months I was with them! The key words assigned to my business were all wrong resulting in potential customers requesting services my business had nothing to do with. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SLOW AND DONT SEEM TO CARE. I have used much smaller advertising agencies in the past with half the capacity of Yellow Pages and had MUCH better results. THIS WAS A WASTE OF MONEY FOR MY BUSINESS. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY CHARGED ME $680.00 FOR A LANDING PAGE. I WAS NEVER TOLD OF THIS FEE AND I WILL NEVER ADVERTISE WITH YELLOW PAGES AGAIN!

Me and a buddy decided we needed to seek advertising for our business. We shopped and compared who we were going to spend our advertising budget with. (YP, Home Advisers, Angie's List, or Google Ad words). We decide to go with YP because they offered us mobile and desktop advertising on a 6 month contract for a good price that covered a lot of area in our state.(Said for my service provided they get about 200-300 calls in my area per month) Once signed up and a week passed we had no calls or visits to our website. So I called my Sales Rep. Chadwick Saxxon to make sure everything was good on my advertising an make sure that I wasn't missing something. He said no it is just been a bad week to give it another week and then we will talk about credits and what we can do to make it better. So we waited another week. Still no call so I call Chadwick again. He said it is unusual not to have even one call with so many of there "impressions" on my advertising. He gets me in contact with a gentleman who is supposed to be his supervisor "Kirby". This guy tells me that my profile needs work because sum program gave my page a 45% on the content of my profile. So I go and fill out every box I can and wait another week. This week I received a call about sum order of aloe vera plants. I run a Roofing Company so it was a call not meant for me at all. After another week passes I call again and now I'm agitated because we have spent our money on advertising and it is getting us nowhere. I get a hold of Kirby and he says my profile needs more pictures than the three that are on there and that has to be the reason why I am not getting calls. So he says he will add sum stock photos and call me Monday to let me know how it looks. That was two weeks ago and I have called 3 times left Voice Messages every time. As well as filled a complaint and order to cancel my service with them. They have also more than double charged me this month for services on there Auto pay program conveniently the day after my cancel request.
Update: Kirby is not Chadwick's manager it is a guy named Marco, more lies from YP being uncovered

Scott S. – YP Marketing Solutions Rep

Hi Ray!

I am so sorry to hear about your frustration. I assure you, you are not being told lies. There is a ramp up period with every listing and it appears yours is in that same boat. However, I will reach out to Chadwick and Marco and see what is going on. I want to help you out and get you in the right direction. Please remember, we only succeed when you guys succeed, so we only want your advertising to be positive, otherwise, it does not benefit us either.

As I said, i am so sorry about this and I completely understand your frustration. If you could email me at socialmedia@yp.com, we can have a direct line of communication rather than here.

Thanks!
Scott

So I researched my company to see where it ranked. I found the yp ad and it had incorrect information about my business. It said to sign up to make the info correct. I did and then called to take down the ad because the calls were sexual in nature, (I'm a massage therapist). Anyway they talked me into a trial paid advertising that I was hesitant about and told the guy I had no money, he said to call back in a month if I was unhappy, before 30 days. I called back 15 -20 days later and he said that it was only a 10 day trial period. I said please cancel this ad. He didn't and said he was going to call back. I called the next day and asked to speak to his supervisor. The operator said to call someone else and that the supervisor is gone. I proceeded to call them 10 days in a row and no one spoke to me. It was always "they're not here but they're getting on that cancellation". Finally the guy called back and said he would cancel it but didn't. I finally spoke with someone else who said I owed $ 600 to get out of the contract and they so kindly "dropped it down" to $ 369. I said I'm not giving you my bank info and cancelled the card. They supposedly sent me to collections because I received a phone call from collections which I now believe was fake. I reported them to the creditors as fraud and was told by a lawyer to do it every time they send me an invoice. I also found out after this incident that they sue people 2-5 years later for bills they were supposed to cancel but didn't. I hate this company. They are crooks, liars and theives. They are the worst bloodsucking leeches ever!

I have never had a such bad horrible experience before, everything is terrible starting from the dishonesty and the fake promises beside the customer service. When the sales representative visited our office he confirmed that we can only try YP for 3 months and if we found it not worth it we can cancel it before the 3rd month, it took us almost a month fighting over the phone with the customer service just to get a phone call from a sales manager which finally she called us and she gave us also a fake appointment to come and talk to us face to face, she never show up or even answered her phone and when she finally answered she said so sorry i was travelling (CAN YOU IMAGINE TO GIVE US AN APPOINTMENT AND SHE TRAVELS WITHOUT EVEN RESCHEDULING) and then she said i will call you back and that took another 10 days and finally we called her again, at the end she said NO i can't cancel anything because i see her that YP is doing very good to your company although for the last 3 months we have been tracking all our new clients and none of them even mentioned the YP and she start talking to me as if i was born yesterday and say we put you on over 350 websites we we set you up on google which of course is a big fake pretends as we have our online marketing with all these different websites way before we even signed up with the YP, and when i mentioned that Iam not surprised from all what has been happening as i saw every where huge amount of horrible reviews she accused me that i have been dis respectful to her and to her company... Please be careful and do not waste your time and waste your money and read all the other reviews... and of course now nothing is gonna happen except a response to this review saying so sorry for your frustration and bla bla bla but i promise that this review will be all over the internet. I CANT EVER EXPLAIN MY FRUSTRATION

The subject website (i. E., www.yellowpages.com) has listed a company named ET Squared Cleaning Services, LLC with an unauthorized address. Several emails have been semt to this website informing them that the address that this company is using is my address and they have not responded. It is apparent that this is not a reliable website because it fails to acknowledge its emails or investigate whether or not companies that they are advertising are legitimate.

For the last 3 years I have been trying to get my business listing correctly shown in the white page area of their yellow pages. Last year it didn't even show up, which was fine, because this year, it's the wrong number, again. A call to their customer service is useless; they keep saying they get the numbers from the carrier. But the other phone book has it right. The internet has it right. So why can't they get it right? When I asked to be bumped up to a supervisor she said she didn't want to waste my time by having me speak to someone who would tell me the same thing. Then she simple said she wouldn't transfer me to a supervisor. She was beyond rude. I guess if you want to spend a bunch of money on advertising, they take care of you. But if you're just in the free white page listing, you're nothing. Just eliminate that part of the book if you can't get it right! I've never been so frustrated with a company!

This is how they start out in their inital contact. They price their product based on what they see you could possibly earn because of each of the phone call you may get. The service reps are not there at the company for more than 2-3 months at a time. They cycle through reps quite often. Because these reps are under high motivational pressure to perform, they will tell you and do things they cannot really deliver. It was so bad, I was getting phone calls for taxi at 2:00 in the morning because the rep place my number on a rotating list to show I was getting calls, although the calls had nothing to do with what I do. They will build you a website which they own and they will optimize for you to get the calls as long you are with them. The moment you cancel, all the money you have spent has become vapor ware, because they own all the results which you have paid them for. Typically they want around $500 per month, and they want you to committ for at least six months and you owe them the funds if they perform or don't perform. Buyer Beware!

It started off fine for the first year and then the whole deal changed. After spending $100,000.00 over the years it wasn't about performance anymore. It was about how much time and money YP could extort from their customer. Even after cancelling the ad they continued to run it and then charge me for it even after I clearly sent the cancellation email. Then their whole investigation process took months of time and they kept ignoring the evidence. Then they send me to their internal collections when they had credit cards on file. Stay away from this company, it has went beyond hell!
