Absolutely the nicest guitar I have ever handled, easy play is a good description! And they even put up with my foolishness about ordering and covid delays.

I turn 64 next month and I've always wanted to learn guitar. So as my 2021 New Year's Resolution decided to commit myself to doing so. I played trumpet for 20 years, 5 as a professional. So I know the 4 ingredients necessary for success...#1) consistent and quality practice, 2) quality instruction, 3) quality equipment and 4) talent.

With those in mind, I am 100% committed to practice and am learning what defines "quality" practice. After much research I have chosen the Zager instruction program. This weekend I took delivery of a stunning sunburst ZAD900, replacing a borrowed entry-level guitar so I clearly have the quality equipment ingredient covered. The question of talent remains... I will let you know.

As for the choice of a Zager guitar I read every review I could find and watched every video and YouTube available. Clearly, being a newbie prevented me from actually comparing guitars. I was left with the opinions of others, which all spoke glowingly of the quality, sound, playability and value. It seemed like an easy choice. I still have an educated "ear" and must say that playing my first chord when I took it out of the case literally gave me goosebumps! I look forward to someday being worthy of such an instrument.

Finally, I want to draw attention to is an element that often goes under-appreciated. Organizational culture and customer service. In my multiple exchanges with Dennis Jr., Sara, Jessica and others there is clearly a company-wide culture of customer service. I don't know if I am more impressed with the actual product (guitars) or the people. All have exceeded my expectations and I look forward to being a lifetime client

I bought a new zager guitar for my 9 year old grand daughter for Christmas. She was thrilled when it arrived. Fast shipping, looks like a high quality instrument. They give a quick response to any questions you might have. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a quality instrument with a life time warranty.

The new Zager guitar that I purchased is definitely exceeding my expectations. It is very obvious that the guitar is custom made and as advertised it is easy on my fingertips. The finish and design is beautiful and the guitar produces great sound. I can't believe that they are able to produce this custom guitar for such a reasonable price. The case that they provided also matches the high quality look of the guitar. If you are in the market for a guitar, I'd highly recommend the Zager product line!

I just received my ZAD50CE OM. The sound and craftsmanship are outstanding. I already own a ZAD900CE. The 50 puts out superb sound and is beautiful to look at as well. Another great job, Dennis!

Denny Zager uses "best in class" materials to produce a sound and resonance equal to $15k ++ guitars. I've played and practiced with the competition yet no one seems to be able to match the sound, the quality, beauty and ease of play. The neck on the ZAD900CE is lightning fast! I play it hours and hours at a time without chewing up my fingers on frets and strings not properly setup out of the box. I can adjust the setup on the fly as the genre changes. Denny sent me several guitars to play and paid for the shipping both ways until I was happy with the choice of my ZAD900CE. Customer service is unparalleled. I bought the 900 flagship guitar and couldn't be more please. I was skeptical so I brought into a high end acoustic shop to compare. The salesman actually said "there isn't a guitar on the wall I could sell you that sounds better"

My 900e just arrived today, I took it out of the box and looked carefully for any blemishes or scuffs there were none. The guitar is gorgeous, when I was doing my research on your guitars and comparing them with other options I often wondered how many of the testimonials you read are from someone with a vested interest in the company.

I took the guitar out tuned it and began to play it. All I could say was WOW! This guitar is everything and more than you or any of the testimonials I have read described it to be. The ease of playing is amazing, the sound and the sustain is incredible. When I bought this I had the desire to get a high end guitar that I would never want for more. I have found it, thank you!

My experience ordering my new Zager ZAD-900CE 50th Anniversary Edition guitar was great! The guitar is beautiful, sounds awesome, and was well worth the wait!

I have owned a Zager Guitar for over 10 years. The quality of the guitar and playability have stood the test of time. Like most quality instruments the Zager has improved with age. No other Guitar plays as easy as a Zager.

I just received my Zager 900 and I have to say that my first impression was WOW! This is a well built guitar with the best gear from the Grover tuners to the Auro Pro electronics. The first thing I noticed when opening the case was the finish of the guitar. It was what the people at Zager described it would be and what I pictured it to be. The guitar fits very snug inside the case and when you push it in you can fell the air moving out of the case.

I gave the guitar a very close inspection and was not able to find any blemishes in the finish anywhere on the top, bottom, sides or along the fretboard. I would say they were very careful in handling the guitar. To have it hand built and see no scratches or anything I find pretty amazing. The guitar plays very well and the fretboard accommodates
My large fingers well. One thing I noticed is that once tuned all the chords when played were in tune. I have noticed that on some guitars that while the guitars sounds in tune on one chord another chord might be a touch off. This guitar stays in tune.

I also own a 1978 Gibson that I bought back in 1981. I love this guitar and will never trade or sell it. The sound on it has really blossomed over the years. After cranking on this Zager 900 I can tell you that it rivals the sound of my Gibson straight out of the box. Cant wait to see what a little time will do to it. The 900 has a really full sound that you have to hear to understand what I mean by full sound. I can whole heartedly give this "box" and big thumbs up. It is the real deal and a very well made guitar. I almost spent twice the money on a Taylor when I decided to buy this one. I am really glad I bought the Zager. I have owned many guitars in my years but this one is one I will keep and hand down to my children. Good Job Zager family.

The best guitar I have ever played, would not hesitate to buy another one, better than anything out there.

I have worked with wood all my life. Making me a late starter. But I can catch up fast. The craftsmanship in Zager is matched by very high dollar or famous named guitars. The people who make a living at playing Zager speaks for it self. Yes there some big ones out there. But we d as lol are not stars. But we can make great sounds from a Zager. Craftsmanship always wins in the end. It makes the sound.

I also own a ZAD900 full size non-cutaway in natural spruce finish. Recently tried some smaller guitars and found that with smaller body the top "tucks in" closer with the sound hole more open to player's ear. More rewarding "surround sound" playing acoustically- may not be true for audience, but I play mostly for myself and really enjoy the OM size. I have Taylor guitar in rosewood and spruce as well. The Zagers get a little more play - slightly easier on fingers and convenience of on board tuners. But I pick up different guitars for their sonic fit to style, song and mood and love the Taylors as well. Zager service before and after sale has been good and I feel comfortable with their mail order business model.
