The worst possible experience I ever had with an advertiser. I don't even know where to begin.

First, they charged me with $280 for 30,000 impressions for a 2 week period. They mentioned that my impressions will be delivered equally throughout the period; that comes up to 2,000 impressions per day. It's been 5 days so far and every day my banner had 3,000 impressions per day + 10 clicks in total. Now, that comes down to about $12 per click. Really fine dandy right?

Second, I noticed this right away and requested a modification in order to better target my banner. This was the next day. 24 hours passed and no response. So, I wrote them an email asking what the hell is going on. 4 days later, still no response.

I just requested my money back. We'll see what happens...

I was looking for an easy and cheap way to get a website for my computer repair business. I found these guys on Kijiji and what drew me in was the fact that they were advertising themselves as a Full Service business, meaning that they do everything for the website.

While they don't have too many templates at the moment, they certainly make up for it with accommodating all your needs. It's easy to get a website and ask for modifications with them. You basically only need an email address.

If you need a basic presentation website which looks pretty good and gets the job done, give them a shot! If you don't like it they have a "no contract, no obligations" policy so you can stop at any time.

Fairly good place to get information.

I use it mostly for news, business, motivation, comedy, and a bit for friends. I don't know how I feel about their newest update yet..

Decent Social Media platform with regular updates and new features.

Although, their privacy policy is also always changing and becoming more and more Machiavellian.

Kijiji is possibly the worst place for a business or professional to advertise their services or products. While the average Joe selling his couch without paying a dime to Kijiji has it easy, the advertiser, the one with the real money is left in the gutter.

I spent $300 in one sitting on promoting multiple ads on Kijiji. First of all, their category systems is a complete fiasco. Who doesn't have a Computer or Web category under Services in this day and age?! Second, I asked for help from their support. They deleted my ads and told me to post a banner.

Here's where the fun starts. Their banners on paper look very nice and promising, although they are "managed" by a second company, Shiny Ads. I never had a worse experience with an advertiser before! I am now waiting for the weekend to be over (apparently they don't work weekends...) and asking for a full refund; at the rate my banner is going now it comes down to about $11/click (!).

In other words, stay back if you are a business. They will squeeze every penny from you and give you close to nothing in return. If you are simply a consumer, then by all means, go and sell your couch!
