This company states that they're a US company, however their company, including where they ship from, is actually in india. No one on the phone could speak enough English to solve any of the problems, I had to talk to eight different people just to get one answer and several people on the phone tried to tell me I was stupid even though they were the ones who weren't listening. (And I'm not generalizing here, the One customer service representative literally told me in his exact words "You're not smart, You're stupid".) They kept telling me my file was too small even though it was a 12-in wide file at 600 dpi, and they kept telling me it was only an inch big. I finally told them they needed to give me an email to send the file to since their website must be compressing files. Then they try to tell me to contact Aldean, and as I'm reading the name back to him he keeps telling me I'm not understanding him, he spelled it out three different times before he could finally get the spelling correct, and what he was trying to tell me to do was to email "alerts". They clearly had no idea what they were talking about, and the first email I got after all this mess wasn't even an email to send the file to it was an email asking me to confirm that their messed up version of my design was okay to print. They fought with me and delayed my order, and then when I order finally did arrive, the quality was absolutely horrendous. I ordered what we're supposed to be flags for outdoor use, and they're so thin you can see through them, you can even see spacing in the threads of the material where it's going to have holes very rapidly. The colors don't match either, despite the design being submitted in CMYK format and the preview showing the correct colors.

Between them delaying my order several days, their website compressing files, their customer service people calling me stupid and then not even being able to relay customer service information because they can't speak the language of the client base they're selling to, and the horrible quality, I would definitely never shop with these people again.

Update: I left the same review on their website and they didn't publish it. In fact the email me privately and tried to call me a liar yet again. It's amazing how this company is so obsessed with lying to customers that they will get upset with you if you try to tell the truth. I'm not going to spend my time replying to a five paragraph email after they refuse to publish an honest review. Can you imagine a company reaching out to you and trying to demand every phone number that you've called them from? Every email you sent? And then telling you that your file was definitely small and there's no way their site would comoress it? And then telling you that even though when you call the phone number is located in india, and your order ship from india, that they're based in the usa? Yet again, all lies and defense. They don't care about their customers, only about being right.

  • Forever 21

12/10/20

I don't even see the US version of their website listed available for review, so I'm reviewing under this one.

I absolutely used to love forever 21. I could always find cute items, at high quality, for affordable prices. In fact a few years ago I would say at least 90% of my wardrobe was from forever 21.

Over the past year or so I've shopped at forever 21 countless times, but instead of coming away with multiple items like usual, I may have found one or none. The quality of their items has dropped significantly, a lot of things that I buy even if I hand wash them in cold water and hang them to dry, shrink. Many of their items have poor construction, and pill or rip or fade, with just a single wash. I've also found that because they purchased their items from so many different wholesalers, a lot of the items sizing is all over the place. My usual size is an XS, And while a lot of stuff in forever 21 is too large for me in a small, some of their items have actually purchased a medium in because they fit me. Honestly all around their quality has just gone down significantly. And the prices have gone up quite a bit.

You can still find some hidden gems, but I found that instead of going into a store and being able to come out with several items, and stressing about finding too many cute things, I'm leaving empty-handed more often than not.

Forever 21 is struggling to stay afloat, and this is probably the reason why. Nobody wants to pay more than they were paying before for something of less quality than what they got before.

Their employees in store, and their online customer service, are always hit or miss. You could get somebody really friendly and helpful, or you could get somebody who acts like you're bothering them by asking them a simple question.

In general, I would say that forever 21 went from being five stars, down to three. They're okay. I wouldn't rave about them, but I wouldn't say they're the worst place to shop either.
If you purchase online, don't use PayPal. If you pay with PayPal, the only refund they can give you is a store credit. They can't actually refund you. If you use a credit card they're able to refund back to the same card you used.

  • Ulta

12/10/20

All of my orders from Ulta arrive on time, and almost always in perfect condition. On the rare occasion that I get an item that's damaged due to handling doing shipping, they are quick to refund it, or let me take it back in exchange it for a perfect item. Their customer service is super helpful, and they don't ignore their customers. I've been a customer for years and unless something changes will continue to be.

My in-store experience is a little different, in store usually has a lot of very arrogant workers who think they know more about makeup than anyone who could possibly walk in their store. I usually tell the workers at Ulta to leave me alone, simply because they're so rude and always make my trip take more time than I need it to, since I'm very well versed in beauty products. But since this is review for the website, not in store, five stars!

H&M
  • H&M

7/9/20

I placed a recent order with H&M to be sent to my family's place, to arrive while I was visiting and helping my 80year old relative. The shipment window states that even with COVID, 9 days is the max delivery time from the ORDER date. It past 9 days, so I contacted H&M to see what was going on. My tracking number showed that the package hadn't moved in over 5 days. When I reached out the customer service representative told me that it hadn't even technically shipped yet, it was just sitting with one of their shipping partners and that USPS hadn't even picked it up. This is on the 9th day, and the day I'm supposed to be receiving it. I explained this to her and tell her that I will be leaving town in just a few days and it hasn't even shipped yet. So I asked if it can be somehow forwarded to my home address. She tells me she can't do anything about it, neither can H&M, and then I should contact my post office(who will not let you change it and tells you h&m is responsible for changing it). She then tells me that it can take up to 22 days to receive an order, and that the 5 to 9 days on the website, is just a rough estimate and not likely. She tells me that it's not outside of the 9-day window yet(even though it it's the 9th day and it is states away and not shipped), And that I should add an additional 13 days to that and if I don't receive it I can file a lost package claim. I explained again that I was out of town helping family, and that the address that was being sent to was not an address where I could get something from after I left. She ignored me and kept copying and pasting the statement about how shipping can take up to 22 days(which is NOT listed on their site). Their site states "5-7 BUSINESS DAYS" in the reference chart about covid and at checkout 5-9 days. 22 days is more than double that and it's not disclosed.
So now i will be out the money for the entire order. If they had just been truthful about the shipping dates I would have had it sent to a different address, But instead they're lying to their customers and giving a false date this less than half of what the actual shipping date is promised.

I will not be shopping with H&M ever again.

EDIT:
Over 31 days later the package arrived. H&M made me pay an additional $10 to get ti from the post office. After 2 hours on the phone, they promised that I could return it past 30 days since it was in transit due to COVID and that they'd give me a refund for what I paid in shipping... when I got to the store to return what didn't fit, I was told I could NOT return past 30 days, even though customer service told me I COULD. They tried to pass it through manually, and instead of the $45 I was owed back, I was told it would get $26 because the customer service rep didn't refund me for the shipping I paid, but adjusted my items price so that my clothes was cheaper and if I tried to return it H&M would still get to keep my money. The staff at H&M saw this and tried to refund it anyway, stating how wrong the online service was and how it shouldn't happen. Everything went through(even though they couldn't get my full refund amount, it was about $3 less than what I paid) and then I got an email over 2 hours after I left the store saying my refund was REFUSED. So now they have my items AND my money! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

Tip for consumers:
Do not order online. EVER.

  • ROMWE

6/14/20

Ordered from Romwe once before and my package was late but only by 3 days. This time it's over a month later and no package and customer service keeps saying to wait, even though tracking provided shows it's never been shipped. Had to open a case with my credit company. Do not buy from romwe.

Also, items say they ship from the USA but actually ship from China and then to a California warehouse.

Edit:. Please note that there's a note on this review that says they tried to reach out to fix things and I didn't respond. That isn't the case. They sent me a message, but it was basically just asking if my issue was resolved. It didn't offer any solutions or ask me for any updates. The package arrived over two months after I placed the order, I was able to get them to refund it after a month and a half, and ended up donating the items to charity.

I still wouldn't recommend them since their customer service is so poor, and it will take at least a month or more to get your items, which is far longer and then is stated on their website. Just remember that everything does in fact ship from China, so it's the same situation as ordering from someplace like Wish.

I placed an order for two albums. I got an email from them stating that due to covid shipping was not available to the usa. I mentioned that i purchased from other shops in Korea and had no issues and their response was that only EMS was available to the USA... after telling me no shipping was available at all. (Lie #1) I then asked how much it would be to upgrade shipping to EMS so that I could get the order and was met with a rude response telling me that I should've bought the albums through another store I'd purchased from in Korea and that I should ask for a refund from them. I kindly explained that they had the best price, so I ordered from them and repeated that I wanted to know what an EMS upgrade would cost. They stopped replying to my emails. Finally I gave up and asked for a refund, which they replied to and refunded within 10 minutes... and didn't do a full refund to cover the "Paypal fee", stating that PP takes a fee from my end for returns (lie #2). (The fee is refunded to the buyer but not the seller and it is plainly stated in PP TOS that the seller (KPF) pays the fees and the buyer (me) gets the full amount refunded). On an item they REFUSED to send and proceed to be rude to me over and tell me to go elsewhere because they didn't want me to pay them for shipping upgrade to keep my sale?

Best part? My friend messaged their instagram the same day asking about EMS shipping to the USA and was told it was available. So they were caught in their lie.

Update: Still in a PayPal dispute with them. But the albums I wanted randomly now say "sold out" which leads me to believe they didn't have the item to ship and didn't want to admit a site error. This is definitely not a way to keep customers. I wouldn't have minded if they'd simply said they were out of stock or asked me to replace the order through the site to get the correct shipping, but instead they lied through the entire processes and tried to pass their fees off on me, giving me rude attitude the entire time.

Go with KpopAgent, Kmall24, Ktown4u, Kpopinyourareastore, or any locally owned kpop shop instead. All are wonderfully run and have had no issues with.

  • thredUP

6/5/19

I've placed 5 orders with thredup. In total, I've purchased 10 items. Of the 10 items, 8 arrived damaged in one way or another, some orders every item I placed had a rip stain or other issue that was not stated online (everything from smells to the dyes on the patterns running across the garment).

Some Examples: I bought a red floral dress that had white flowers on it, it said it was new with no defects, when it arrived the flowers had turned pink in places because someone had washed it and the dye bled. I ordered a white linen blazers that was 'new with tags' and when I got it, there were large orange spots all over it, the kind that are made with old blood. Several items arrived covered in hair or smelling like mold or smoke.

I messaged customer service about each, sending photos. Thankfully they either refunded me or offered a discount but when you're saying something is in perfect condition it should not have large stains and rips. It's not worth it for me to go through the hassle when so many items arrived damaged. There are other re-sale sites where I've not had this issue I'll stick with them.

I've ordered about five things, and so far all my orders have arrived just as described and an even better condition than usually described. Which is great because a lot of other resale sites I've used have been the opposite. I will keep using the real real!

Check-out is clunky and annoying with delivery vs shipping addresses if they're different.
