My water heater did not light. I called them for a repair. They send 2 people who were very nice. THEY HAD NO TOOL BAG! Not sure how you do repairs with no tools.

So this s how the scam works. You look at the watewr heater and then say that it's 1 year past the warante period. It's now time to buy a NEW water heater. They didn't try and do any repair. All they did was go into selling mode. I was mad that they didn't even bend down to take a look. They had no flashlight, nothing except an Ipad to write an estimate for a new water heater.

I called the corporate headquarters and spoke to Linda in the customer service department. She was nice and said that the franchisee would call me back. After a few days still no call. This is probably the corporate culture, why do a repair when you can rip off the customer and say that you need a new water heater.

Their estimate gave nothing except a price of $1,500.00 This is the scam way of doing business of Mr. Rooter.

On December 20,2017 Auction.com is holding it' 4th or 5th auction for 356 Cypress Drive Mastic Beach NY. No problem. So far every auction ended with Reserve not met. Even with Auction.com bidding for the seller. Here is where it gets interesting. If you are unlucky enough to win you will have several problems. The house was condemned by the Mastic Beach code enforcement. By the time the issues were resolved you had a mold problem. Yes the pipes burst. The house was in foreclosure for 9 years.So you know how it was taken care of.
There are several renters in the building now and we all know what's going to happen when they are evicted. The bank offered them a lot of money to move but the offer was a joke so everyone is still there.
So now here is the interesting part. Go to the New York ecourts Supreme court and look up Rob Metel and you will see that he has a motion on the calendar in April 2018.So they will be able to stay in the house for at least until then. You will then have to evict and that will take several months. So why is this interesting? Because Auction.com knew all about this. The new owner will be waiting at least 7 months to get in. By that time you had better have a lot of money to beg the current renters not to destroy the home or have even more money for a full rehab.
After you buy it you will need to deal with the town. Lots of issues that are still open.

Want to get out of the sale? The 95 page document favors the seller so you are screwed.
Are all the homes; like this situation? No but this is a bad deal at just about any price.

Pay the current homeowner $100 to let a home inspection company come in and look around. This will be the best investment you will ever make.

So why does every auction keep going down in price? I' honestly don't know. So far the high bidder was the 1st auction coming in at $105k.

Liens on the property- That's why lawyers charge $350 an hour so find out before you place a bid. FYI the Suffolk County Social Services has a $200,000 lien on the property. It is no where near that amount probably about $6,000 according to the owner, but again have your lawyer check out everything. I'm talking about getting a real estate lawyer not a slip and fall lawyer.

My gut feeling is that after a few more auctions it will end up back with HUD.

Oh, about the pipes that burst... the home is now almost all electric so you will go broke heating it in the winter.

One day I received a package for a friend, It came in a very large box and when she opened it up it looked expensive, There turns out to be issues. It seems others had issues too. She said that she paid $5 US dollars which includes delivery. They obviously lost money on this.

Also know your prices. It. T hard to get get the price and then bid. The list prices are in the clouds. Sky high prices that are almost made up. Just be careful.

I forgot one of my passwords. Everything that I tried didn't work. I even tried to change my password but couldn't.

I almost never buy a product over the Internet, but after spending over 2 hours trying to log in I gave up. I figured that $9.95 was worth it. Well by the time you end up checking out it turns out that it's NOT $9.95 but almost $30. That should have been my fist clue that this company was just another rip off website.

Did the product work? NOOOOOOOOOOO! Not even close. The only thing that worked was that their company got my money.

I am now in the process of getting my money back.

Will this product work for you? Probably not. Also don't expect to pay only $9.95 because that isn't happening either. When it doesn't work and you try and contact their customer support don't expect anything. They sent a nice generic letter that said very little.

The time has come when I have to make a choice, stay with them or leave. If I stay with Advantagecare Physicians I am stuck.
The North Babylon center is just one of the many that offer their services. The big insurer in this center is Emblem Health and if you stay with them will it be to your advantage? I DON't THINK SO! I recently became eligible for Medicare. That means that I don't have to come here for everything.
CHANGES- When I see my Dr. who I am happy with and know treated like a person. I'm guessing that Medicare pays more the my previous insurance company. Guess what? My 3 minute visits have now turned into real visits. Visits that I can actually talk to her. I am not rushed. She suggested that I see a Dr in the center. The Dr. that I chose was not in her center. Why would I travel 10 miles? Because the Dr was good! If I continued with the dr that I love and respect I wold have ended up in trouble. I have a Dr. in my family who said what my primary dr should have referred me to the specialist on the first visit.

ACP has a goal to make money. They now have the phamacy on the main floor so that when they give you a perscription it will be ready when you leave. KA CHING!

A neighbor goes to the center and is locked into them. He is the type of person who comes with a list of questions almost every visit. They are good questions. I almost feel sory for the Dr.
