Vinet Farms provide an outstanding level of care for all their boarded horses. They have claim to a lifetime of experience and knowledge in the horse industry... and it shows! Both in their thoughtfully designed facility, and in their excellent management of it. Some features that come to mind are: a practical and safe facility, wonderful turnout and pasture management, a carefully thought out and implemented de worming program, and a variety of areas to ride (even after dark!).

My gelding Bear came here from a very poorly run (bordering on animal neglect/inhumane) boarding barn in London. He was in such bad shape by the time it was financially possible to move him that he did not look like the same horse. He was emaciated and bullied by the many other too-hungry horses he shared a filthy paddock with. I was forced to bring water, hay and grain to him daily, the only way I could be sure he got anything. I was always afraid he wouldn't be there one day when I arrived.

When seeking a new facility, I only ended up touring one out of the four I had lined up. Within 15 minutes of speaking with Phil and watching all the happy horses clamour for affection from him, I had made up my mind. I left and apologetically cancelled my other barn tours for that day. Phil even provided trailering for us to his facility. Bear made up his mind about Phil in less then a minute and happily followed him on his trailer. Bear looked better every day at his new home and is now back to his old, happily plump self.

As an individual who has worked in barns for 16 years (4 of those as a Barn Manager) and attended UOG for a bachelor's degree in Equine Management, I can honestly say I would not change a thing about this wonderful facility.
